Rashida Harbi Tlaib (nee Tlaib; 1st marriage to her uncle Fayez Tlaib[1]) is the Democratic Socialist representative of Michigan's 13th congressional district and anti-white activist.[2][3] and pro Islamic terror, especially genocidal Hamas. Tlaib has not been shy about hiding her fascist and anti-Semitic[4][5] tendencies. She wrote at least one op-ed on Louis Farrakhan's website.[6] The Anti-Defamation League identifies Farrakhan as the nation's "leading anti-Semite."[7] Born to Arab "Palestinian" parents and identifying herself as "Palestinian," Tlaib thinks she can claim being a person of "color." Which she does for the sake of gaining votes, for example.[8]

It appears, NYT followed Tlaib's person of color theme, but only applying it to Arabs who are Muslims, Arabs who are Christians are still White. So has decided the NYT.[9]

Taking her oath on a Koran, Tlaib was sworn in surrounded by a group that included Linda Sarsour, Nihad Awad and Rasha Mubarak as her special guests.[10] Sarsour has called for Muslims to carry out jihad against President Trump and has praised Imam Siraj Wahhaj,[11] named in court documents as an alleged “co-conspirator” in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Awad is co-founder and Executive Director of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) which has direct ties to Hamas. Mubarak is a community organizer for CAIR in Orlando, Florida. After the oath was taken Tlaib told a crowd of well-wishers that "we’re gonna impeach the mother****er," referring to the President.[12] Democrat leadership failed to condemn the comment while many Democrats defended her.[13]

Tlaib was endorsed by the Communist Justice Democrats and co-sponsored the totalitarian Green New Deal.[14] In a Twitter post, Tlaib ludicrously called for the deportation of Donald Trump, which drew massive criticism against her from other posters in response, many of whom called her out on her racism and anti-Semitism and called for her removal from office, while some posted the 2016 video of Tlaib, who has a history of anger issues and has put such issues on public display on numerous occasions, having a meltdown as she was forcibly escorted from a Trump speech.[15] Tlaib's hatred for Trump caused her to forget the issues in her own congressional district, including the heroin epidemic.[16]

Explained:[17] Hypocrites Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar (like Linda Sarsour) play the liberal card and help in forcing radical left agenda upon Americans - to get votes and establish cosmetic alliances, that's all. Not that they adhere or practice in their circles the non-Muslim routine... It is also part of their hypocrisy on real apartheid practices in the Arab [Islamic] world.

Career

Tlaib.png

In 2008 Tlaib was Arab-American outreach coordinator for Barack Obama’s Michigan campaign and was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in representing the 12th District (Southwest Detroit).[18] "Green jobs pioneer" and self-described Communist Van Jones was the keynote speaker for the 4th annual Michigan Summit on June 12, 2010, headlining a day-long event at which Tlaib also spoke.[19]

Tlaib is on the Board of the National Lawyers Guild-affiliated Sugar Law Center which openly associates itself with a murderous ideology.[20][21] [22]

In 2016, New York Magazine named her one of 10 activists who may become the future of the Democrat Party as the "new Obama".[23] That same year, Tlaib and several other liberal activists had to be forcibly removed by Secret Service agents from a Trump campaign speech in Detroit after she began acting up and screaming at the then-candidate and disrupting his speech.[24]

Tlaib filled the congressional seat vacated by John Conyers who resigned from Congress after 52 years when sexual harassment allegations and settlement payouts to female staff members surfaced.

Activism for "terror support" suspects

In October 2010, a day before "community activists" were expected to present subpoenaed documents to a grand jury in Chicago, 68 organizations and dozens of public figures demanded an end to FBI investigations and grand jury subpoenas on Chicago and Minneapolis activists (mainly connected to the Freedom Road Socialist Organization/FightBack!) accused of supporting terrorist groups in the Middle East and Latin America via a jointly signed letter. Signatories included the American Friends Service Committee (Western Region), National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, and American-Arab anti-Discrimination Committee, as well as four San Francisco Supervisors, and Tlaib.

The jointly signed letter was presented in response to the September 24, 2010, FBI Raids on the Illinois and Minnesota homes and offices of at least 14 activists targeted for alleged "Material Support for Terrorism."[25]

Black4palestine hate group

In 2015 she co-founded anti-American, anti-Israel & pro-terror hate group, "Black4Palestine." A co-founder used the group to conduct activism with members of the Marxist-Leninist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), which is designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO).[26]

2018 Campaign and pro terror

Rashida Tlaib has extensive fundraising ties to Hamas supporters. She used pro-terror Facebook page, PAC-USA, to raise funds for her 2018 Congressional campaign.[26]

In praise of CAIR

Tlaib and Elmi Omar shared on Twitter an anti-Semitic cartoon by a winner of an Iranian holocaust denial contest.[27]
"Your fight for those who don’t have the resources to defend themselves is invaluable. The advocacy efforts of your organization are vital to all American Muslims, Americans, our community and our state.” - Michigan State Representative Rashida H. Tlaib (March 2010).[28]

116th Congress

Tlaib voted against humanitarian aid for children on the border.[29]

In one of the most galling and insulting displays of hubris ever shown by a member of Congress, Tlaib fantasized out load to a crowd on the steps of the Supreme Court that American men would actually want to have sex with her.[30]

Maher Abdel-qader

On January 1, 2018, "Palestinian" activist Maher Abdel-qader, who organized campaign events for Rashida Tlaib across the country, shared the controversial clip on Facebook questioning the Holocaust and dehumanizing Jews.[31]

Following a Nazi inspired account

In 2019, Rashida Tlaib followed Anti-Semitic Instagram account free.palestine.1948 who shared Nazi-inspired propaganda in July 2014.[32]

Rewriting history re racist Arab violence against Jews 1920s-1940s

Lying Rashida, rewriting history
Lying Rashida, rewriting history

In 2019, Tlaib falsely claimed her ancestors provided Jews with a “safe haven” around the time of the Holocaust. The truth is very different.

Tlaib’s ‘calming feeling’[33] about the Holocaust were outrageous.[34] There are so many historical inaccuracies in her single statement.[35]

Famed historian:[36]

But the historical reality was quite different from what Tlaib described: The Palestinians indirectly, and in some ways directly, aided in the destruction of European Jewry.

After Hitler’s accession to power in Germany in 1933, German and then Eastern European Jews sought escape and safe havens. But all the Western countries, including the United States and Britain and its dominions, closed their doors to significant Jewish immigration. Palestine emerged as the only potential safe haven. In 1932, the British allowed 9,500 Jews to immigrate to Palestine. In 1933, the number shot up to 30,000, and in 1935, it peaked at 62,000.

But from 1933 onward, Palestine’s Arabs—led by the cleric Muhammad Haj Amin al-Husseini, the grand mufti of Jerusalem—mounted a strident campaign to pressure the British, who governed Palestine, to bar all Jews from entering the country. To press home their demand, in 1936 they launched an anti-British and anti-Zionist rebellion that lasted three years. Apart from throwing out the British, the rebellion’s aim was to coerce London into halting all Jewish entry into Palestine.

Moreover, the anti-Jewish violence, which claimed the lives of hundreds of Jews and wounded many more, itself served to deter would-be emigrants from seeking to move to Palestine. British entry certificates for Jews to Palestine declined to 30,000 in 1936, 10,000 in 1937, and 15,000 in 1938. Those who couldn’t get in were left stranded in Germany, Poland, Hungary, and elsewhere. Almost all died in the Holocaust, which the Germans unleashed in 1941.

But the Palestinians’ contribution to the Holocaust was also more direct. Husseini, having fled Palestine during the revolt, helped pro-Nazi generals launch an anti-British rebellion in Iraq in 1941 (which itself engendered a large-scale pogrom against Baghdad’s Jews, the Farhoud). When that rebellion failed, he fled to Berlin, where he was given a villa and a generous monthly salary, and lived in comfort until the end of the world war. During the war, he helped recruit Muslims from the Balkans for the German army and the SS, and in radio broadcasts exhorted Middle Eastern and North African Arabs to launch jihad against the British and “kill the Jews.” (The texts of Husseini’s broadcasts appear in the historian Jeffrey Herf’s book Nazi Propaganda for the Arab World.*)

Subsequently, Husseini fled Germany and, with the Allies reluctant to trigger Arab anger by trying him for collaboration, settled down in Cairo. In 1947, he rejected the UN partition plan to settle the Palestine conflict and helped launch the first Palestinian and pan-Arab war against the Zionist enterprise. He spent his last years in Lebanon, embittered by the loss of Palestine and the pan-Arab failure to effectively support the Palestinians, and published a series of anti-Semitic articles before his death in 1974.

The most prominent Palestinian American intellectual, Edward Said, toward the end of his life enjoined the Palestinians to study the Holocaust and empathize with what had happened to the Jews, if only to properly understand the deep-seated fears and aspirations of the Israelis. It would seem that Tlaib has forsworn such an effort.

Tlaib’s podcast promulgates two basic fallacies about the more recent past and the present: first, that the Palestinian struggle is akin to the black-American struggle against white oppression and discrimination, and second, that the sole responsibility for failing to reach a two-state solution to the Palestine conflict lies with Israel.

Partnering with haters

That ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib partnered with vicious Anti-Semites to plan their 2019 trip to Israel, should be most important element of the story.[37]

Anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic statements

See also: Left-wing Anti-Semitism

Upon assuming office in January 2019, Tlaib hung a map in her congressional office with a sticky note calling Israel "Palestine."[38] Earlier, she endorsed the anti-Israel BDS movement.[39] In January 2019, Tlaib willingly photographed herself with a Hezbollah-praising activist who also denied Israel's right to exist.[40]

Even liberal HBO host Bill Maher called out Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib over antisemitic comments they posted on social media. Adding regarding Omar's hate post: "Ten years ago, if you read that to me, I’d have thought that would be from Hezbollah. That’s an American congressperson."[41]

Loyalty canard

In addition to mentioned anti-Semitic actions, Tlaib also made a bigoted tweet accusing Jewish-Americans of having divided loyalties, an attack frequently made by anti-Semites. (Jan, 2019)[42]

Posting cartoon by long known anti-Semite

On August 17, 2019, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar posted cartoon by author accused of anti-Semitism previously.[27] The cartoonist was placed in Iranian (belittling or denying) Holocaust cartoon contest in 2006.[43]

Bloodlibel 2020

In Jan. 2020, Tlaib promoted a false claim regarding an Arab boy who died not by Israelis. She demonized Jews. Even after being called out she refused to apologize.[44]

Lies, 2022: NYT

In Mar 2022, this bigot spread the vicious libel in NYT as if Israel supposedly targets civilians.[45][46] Just imagine if Israel, with its very advanced weapons wouldn't be so careful in aiming only at combatants and taking measures to minimize collateral damage.[47]

Lies, bigotry, 2023

Racist Rashida Tlaib was so bad, that even left leaning Jonathan Greenblatt slammed[49] her, as she maliciously lied, spread falsehood. He launched a scathing attack on Tlaib on July 3, 2023, at the Operation Home and Garden anti-terror Op., accusing her of promoting baseless accusations and knowingly defaming Israel at a time when anti-Jewish hate crimes are on the rise, in response to a tweet shared by Tlaib, wherein she claimed that Israeli forces were obstructing [Tlaib lied] ambulances from reaching wounded Palestinians. Tlaib went on to call for an end to funding the alleged “violent Israeli ap.. regime.” Greenblatt promptly replied to her tweet, stating, “Even for @RashidaTlaib, the level of dishonesty here is truly staggering.”

"For starters, it’s a complete fiction. But equally important, this was a targeted action against armed terrorists who brutally murdered innocents, recklessly hid weapons under a mosque and intentionally located their ops center next to a school,” Greenblatt wrote.

"But when members of congress knowingly slander the Jewish state in a time of rising anti-Jewish hate, they should be held accountable for fanning the flames and endangering Jewish people everywhere."

Blinken

As Joe Biden elected to his cabinet Antony Blinken in 2020, Tlaib expressed suspicion, masking her response under a supposed worry for first amendment right to protest. She was accused of Anti-Semitism. In reaction, Americans Against Antisemitism founder wrote: "'Welp, as long as that Judische pick doesn’t stop me from focusing my hatred on one country, Israel, then he’s a good Jew!' It’s not your 1A right you’re trying to protect but your vile Jew-hatred! That’s ALL yours!"[50]

(See related action by Ahmad Shukeiri at UN)

Citizenship to outsiders

In July 12, 2021, as Tlaib used the Apartheid slur on restricting citizenship for outsiders falsely claiming it's "racist," a tweeter replied:[51] Rashida Tlaib might be surprised to learn that every sovereign nation restricts entry, residence and citizenship for outsiders, including (gasp!) the US. In no country does marrying someone mean they get to become a citizen or even a resident. Israel, amazingly, is no different.

Maher destroys Tlaib

In August 2019, Rashida Tlaib called to boycott Bill Maher for exposing BDS.[52]

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) called for a boycott of Bill Maher and his HBO show on Aug. 17 after the comedian called the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement “a bull—- purity test.” Maher made his remarks on “Real Time With Bill Maher,” on Aug. 16, saying that BDS supporters “want to appear woke but actually slept through history class. It’s predicated on this notion — I think it’s very shallow thinking — that the Jews in Israel are mostly white and the Palestinians are brown, so they must be innocent and correct and the Jews must be wrong.” He added that BDS supporters believe “the [Israeli] occupation came right out of the blue” and ignore “the Intifadas and the suicide bombings and the rockets,” pointing out that BDS co-founder Omar Barghouti said in 2013, “No Palestinian, rational Palestinian, not a sell-out Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

“Somehow this side never gets presented in the America media,” Maher said. “It’s very odd.”
Bill Maher responded to Tlaib: ‘Does She Want to Boycott 93% of Her Party?’[53]
Maher also said during his Aug. 16 show that BDS supporters routinely criticize Israel but fail to acknowledge "the Intifadas and the suicide bombings and the rockets." He also pointed out that BDS co-founder Omar Barghouti has openly stated that no "rational Palestinian" would "ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine." "Somehow this side never gets presented in the media," Maher said.

Conspiracy

In August 2021, Rashida Tlaib expressed more outrageous racism, in an 'antisemitic dog whistle’, as she spoke of people 'behind the curtain' exploiting 'the rest of us,' from Gaza to Detroit.[54] Columnist at liberal Washington Post blamed MAGA for this Democrat congresswoman's bigotry.[55]

On the method of "as a woman of color" ahead of racist statements by Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, a tweeter noted:[56] Saying "as a woman of color" before a racist statement does not make that statement any better.

Against the Two-State solution

In Sep/2022 interview with pro-Jihad al-Jazeera she opposed the Two-State Solution and used the Apartheid slur to justify her position.[57]

Anti-White racism

In October, 2019, Tlaib told police chief to only use black facial recognition analysts.[58][59]

Re her reasoning:[60]

Representative Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) recently told the Detroit police department that non-blacks should be barred from working as analysts in the bureau’s facial-recognition unit. Why? Because “non-African Americans,” she insisted, “think African Americans all look the same.”

Is that right? Here, Tlaib takes a nasty sentiment held by an archetypal racist in the antebellum South, superimposes it onto the country today as if nothing has changed in the intervening 200 years, and casts aspersions on groups on the basis of that error.

Non-blacks, as a group, think that “African Americans all look the same”? I’m not sure that this was true in 1819, let alone today. Facial recognition “analysts need to be African American,” the freshman congresswoman demanded, to the visible dismay of the black police chief, “not people that are not.”

Detroit Police chief called Tlaib's comments 'racist'.[3]

Writer:[61]

Racism can rise from a lot of places, including from those who build their careers railing against it.

Tlaib, who considers herself among Congress' most woke members, should wake up to that reality.

Ethics problems

Tlaib was paid $139,873 by a George Soros group in 2016. Between 2016 and 2017, Tlaib received a total of $225,180. Tlaib did not disclose the name of the source of funds as required by the House Ethics Committee and disclosed a lesser amount than she received.[62] Tlaib siphoned off $45,500 for herself out of campaign donations, $17,550 after the election was over.[63]

Despite being considered by many as outside the Democrat Party mainstream, it was revealed that a Tlaib donor reported on FEC filings was dead for 10 years.[64]

Tlaib's father, Harbi Elabed told a Detroit reporter that Rashida lied about living in Detroit when she actually lived in Dearborn. Rashida listed her address as her father's home but never told him.[65]

Justice Democrats

Tlaib was endorsed by Justice Democrats in 2018. Politico reported,
“I am part of a new era of social justice advocates that believe in accountability no matter what party you’re part of,” said newly elected Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), who was endorsed by Justice Democrats. “It’s important to have more people like us running for office and I want to support that.”[66]
Justice Democrats is a fundraising scam founded by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Cenk Uygur.[67]

Hypocrisy

Deafening silence by otherwise loudmouth

  • The racist-apartheid punishing Arabs who sell land to Jews,[68] anti Semitic law,[69] began under the Jordanians, and practiced by Palestinian Authority. The law it and of itself racist,[70] plus it's strong racist overtones.[71] (Under Arafat since 1994

such Arabs gave been murdered.[68] Under Abbas, since at least 2009.[72] and have affirmed death penalty.[73] In 2014 the PA had toughened law against Palestinians selling land to Jews.[74] In 2019 one such prisoner died in custody. [75])

  • In 2018, Palestinian-American Issam Akel, was tortured, sentenced to life in prison by PA for selling land to Jews. Rashida Tlaib was criticized for saying nothing on the matter. [76]
  • As a typical hypocritical bigot, (so-called progressive), Rashida Tlaib remained silent on Iran protests, noticeably by women against their oppressors (end of Sep 2022 report.[77]

Arab Palestinian American Rashida Tlaib refuses to denounce beheading of babies by Palestinian militants Oct 2023
  • In the wake of fascistic "Palestinian" (Hamas / PIJ etc.) atrocities Oct/2023: massacres, beheading of babies, gunning down youths, mass rape while laughing, abducting women and children, the elderly, the disabled, parading them towards cheers of thousands of other racist Arabs in Gaza (which led to Swords of Iron), Tlaib refused to condemn beheadings of Israeli babies when confronted by media.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who has an extensive history of anti-Semitism, refused to condemn the beheadings of Israeli babies on Tuesday when confronted by a reporter on Capitol Hill.[78]
  • Nov 2023, Rashida Tlaib was slammed for her 'from the river to the sea' claim, while in fact it is a genocidal call of Arab supremacy: ethnic cleansing of Jews and other non-Arabs. As well as Tlaib's advocating on behalf of Hamas - a genocidal terrorist organization.
Noa Tishby slams Rashida Tlaib for 'from the river to the sea' claim By Sam Halpern Published: November 4, 2023 08:28 Updated: November 4, 2023 14:57 ... Noa Tishby posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday slamming prominent anti-Israel Michigan congresswoman Rashida Tlaib for her claim that the slogan, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is a call for freedom and peaceful coexistence.

Tishby is Israel’s former Special Envoy for Combating Antisemitism and the Delegitimization of Israel and author of Israel, A Simple Guide to the Most Misunderstood Country on Earth.

“From the river to the sea is an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate. My work and advocacy is always centered in justice and dignity for all people no matter faith or ethnicity,” the Michigan congresswoman wrote on X.

Tishby quickly responded, denouncing the chant as a call for ethnic cleansing.

“Let me set the record straight, from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free, means from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, will be free from Israel, where 9 million Jews, Muslims, and Christians live. From the river to the sea is a chant that has been championed by fundamentalist Islamist terrorists for years, and it calls for ethnically cleansing the Jews from their ancestral land."

Tishby’s voice was joined by others who took to the social media platform to criticize Tlaib’s statement.

Are there malicious origins of the "From the river to the sea" chant? Pro-Israel peace activist and Vice President of the Global Imams Council, Mohammad Tawhidi, otherwise known as the Imam of Peace, claimed the origins of the chant prove that it is a call for the ethnic cleansing of Jews and other non-Arabs.

“Rashida is a liar,” Tawhidi wrote. “Why? Because the chant ‘From the river to the sea’ is a translation of the original Arabic chant “from the water to the water, Palestine will remain Arab.” This is a genocidal call to ethnically cleanse the land from all non-Arabs, i.e. the Jews.”

Tishby, went a step further, accusing Tlaib of advocating on behalf of genocidal terrorists.

“On October 7, Hamas showed us exactly how they plan to free Palestine,” Tishby continued. “And you Congresswoman, are advocating on behalf of a genocidal terrorist organization. Shame on you, Congresswoman Tlaib.[79]

  • On Feb 14, 2024, Rashida Tlaib: ‘present,’ as House votes unanimously to condemn Hamas for rape [H.Res.966]. Journalist: "Rep. Tlaib isn't content to 'All Lives Matter' the mass rape of Jewish women by Hamas. She has actually appropriated the atrocities perpetrated against Jews."[80]

Palestinians killing their own people at hospital and Tlaib propagates debunked Hamas' lies

Islamic Terrorists killed their own people in hospital explosion - then falsely blamed Israel (Oct/23)
Confirmed Islamic Jihad rocket caused Gaza hospital Al Ahli blast Oct 2023
To Israel, every civilian death is a tragedy. To Hamas, it's a propaganda tool

On Oct 17, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad failed rocket -- intended against Israeli civilians -- hit Gaza hospital al-Ahli,[81]. [82][83] causing several casualties. Naturally guilty Palestinian Hamas terrorist regime, immediately blamed Israel for their "accident," (inflating the numbers too), which triggered protests among the Arab world. The failed jihadists' missile was one of approximately 450 that land within the Gaza Strip. In fact, "radar detected outgoing rocket fire at the same moment the blast at the Gaza hospital occurred," Also, was publicized, an audio recording between Hamas operatives immediately after the rocket fall/fail about the terrorists' strike.[84][85][86][87] their own people.[88][89] And not a rare case. "US analysis showed Israel not responsible for hospital explosion."[90]

Even forthright (formerly at HRW) critic of Israeli Military says IDF Not responsible for Gaza hospital explosion: 'It Wasn’t An Airstrike."[91]

Before investigating and checking, Hamas' mouthpiece Al Jazeera (al Jihadzeera) had already inflamed the Arab world by broadcasting Hamas' lie blaming victim-Iarael, and 'protests' broke out -- with much in the Arab world, embarrased by images of Hamas/PIJ Oct 7 atrocities, trying to believe or at least to say they believe the blaming Israel version. As well as increased exressions of hate.

Yet, Tlaib repeated Hamas' debunked version the next day.[92]

Censored over bigotry and incitement

On Nov 7, 2023, US House voted to censure Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan — the only Palestinian American in Congress — an extraordinary rebuke of her hate rhetoric about the Israel-Hamas war. It came after she refused to retract her support for the Arab supremacist racist ethnic cleansing phrase "From the river to the sea."[93] [94]

On Jan 31, 2024, Cori Bush was the only one to align with Rashida Tlaib to vote against the bill banniing Palestinians carrying out the Oct 7 atrocities.[95] l[96]

When is OK to defend lives=

At Russia-Ukraine war war, it was voiced:[97]

When Israel defends herself from Gazan terror rockets, Rashida Tlaib & AOC tweet up a storm… blaming the Israel of course.

Now when Ukraine is defending itself against Russia’s barbaric invasion … is it b/c Ukraine is led by a proud Jewish man ...?

Leftwing insurrection

See also: 2020 Antifa riots

All four members of the Squad, and the affiliated groups that back them, were involved in the 2020 Leftwing insurrection. Minneapolis and Metro Atlanta Democratic Socialists of America colluded with Antifa in the violence. Seattle DSA is also involved. DSA branches in Memphis, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Louisville, Philadelphia, and Richmond are raising funds for “George Floyd Uprisings Nationwide.”[98] The American Left has the power to start race riots in nearly every major U.S. city.

In Marxist–Leninist and Maoist theory, a United front is a coalition of leftist organizations that collude for the purpose of taking over a government. In the 116th Congress, the Committees of Correspondence for Democratic Socialism, Democratic Socialists of America, Liberation Road (formerly Freedom Road Socialist Organization}, and Communist Party of the United States formally created a united front of the nation's four largest Communist organizations to take over the Democrat Party.[99] As of 2018 the umbrella group is known as the Left Inside/Outside Project (“One foot in the institutions, one foot in the streets.”[100]) consisted of 57,000 community organizers.[101] At its August 2019 convention the DSA passed a resolution to form a

“National Working Group to help drive collaboration and resource sharing to support our antifascist organizing.”[102]

Law enforcement authorities found evidence of pre-planning. The Minneapolis Star/Tribune reported:

state officials said several caches of flammable materials were found both in neighborhoods where there have already been fires and “in cars we’ve stopped as recently as this morning,” said John Harrington, state public safety commissioner. Some of the caches look like they may have been planted days ago and some only in the last 24 hours or so, he said. Police are also finding stolen vehicles with plates removed that are being used to transport the flammable materials. Looted goods and weapons also have been found in the stolen cars, he said.[103]

The Sunrise Movement, with established groups in several major cities, has heavily recruited activists from the DSA and Liberation Road affiliated groups, such as the Pennsylvania Student Power Network. Sunrise founding activists are all current trainers with Momentum Community, which is a training workshop funded by millionaires and billionaires to “incubate” supposed "grassroots" organizations such as Sunrise and the Movimiento Cosecha (Harvest Movement). Democrat millionaire donor and former 2020 presidential election candidate Tom Steyer's NextGen America is also tied to the Sunrise Movement, and according to the New York Times, the two groups “strategize” together.[104]

The DSA itself as of 2020 has 66,000 members nationwide and locals in almost every state. Other communist groups such as Communist Party USA, Liberation Road, Socialist Alternative, Workers World Party, Party for Socialism and Liberation, Socialist Unity Party, and Revolutionary Communist Party and their allies in Black Lives Matter and Antifa can mobilize tens of thousands of militants and organizing cadre at short notice. The American Left has the power to start race riots in nearly every major U.S. city. DSA branches in Memphis, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Louisville, Philadelphia, and Richmond are raising funds for “George Floyd Uprisings Nationwide.”[105]

Following the shooting death of career criminal and gangbanger Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota on April 11, 2021 after he attempted to resist arrest and flee the scene when he was arrested on outstanding warrants at a traffic stop,[106] Tlaib posted a Twitter post where she openly sided with Black Lives Matter criminals who instigated riots in the city when word of Wright's death came out, falsely called the police "racist", called for complete anarchy and insanely demanded the abolition of all police departments and prisons.[107] Tlaib was heavily criticized by other Twitter posters following her inflammatory post, with many correctly pointing out the foolishness of her demands while some pointed out that Wright, whom Tlaib was defending in her tweet, was wanted for illegal possession of a weapon and had other outstanding warrants at the time of his traffic stop arrest, and others called Tlaib out for both inciting violence (which is illegal under federal law) and for her hypocrisy in demanding abolition of the police while she is surrounded and protected by Capitol Police officers; even Ted Cruz weighed in and criticized Tlaib for her irresponsible comments.[108]

In 2021, Tlaib grinned as she talks about her dream to release every con in federal prison.[109]

117th Congress

Incitement

Yoseph Haddad, a moderate Arab Israeli commentator with 35,000 Twitter followers remarked, "We have to say the truth! There is a direct connection between the hate speech and incitement of Rashida Talib and the other politicians in the United States to the antisemitic attacks that we see in the US.[110]

T.J. Bucholz

See also: Leftwing war on women

Tlaib paid T.J. Bucholz's firm,[111] Vanguard Public Affairs, more than $21,000 in the 2018 cycle and nearly $5,300 in 2019. After winning her 2018 race, Tlaib tweeted Bucholz to say she "couldn't have done it without" him. Bucholz went on to spearhead a 2019 Tlaib campaign fundraising effort, selling "Impeach the MF" shirts.

Tlaib who has railed against "violence and abuse" toward women in politics, remained silent as five former employees accused Bucholz of sexual harassment.[112] According to the Detroit Free Press, Bucholz admitted to texting a 22-year-old female staffer in 2016 to say "you're so f—ing hot. Marry me." He texted the same employee to comment on a photo of her a year later, writing "you certainly look … um … healthy."

Another young female staffer said Bucholz threatened to photoshop an image of her in a "sexually compromised position" if she left his firm. One Democratic activist accused Bucholz of proposing a sexual threesome in 2010. The consultant was hospitalized for an "apparent suicide attempt" in March 2021, according to the Lansing-based City Pulse.

The Times claimed that only 112 of the 431 House of Representatives members are people of color. It lists Rep. Rashida Tlaib as a person of color, while listing Rep. Justin Amash as white.

Tlaib's parents and Amash's father came from Arab towns and neighborhoods in Israel. Amash's mother came from Syria. They both have traditional Arab names. How is Tlaib a person of color while Amash is white?

The Amash and Tlaib clans both have a sizable presence in Israel. They’re both Arabs, but, aside from Tlaib being a militant leftist while Amash is an ex-GOP Never Trumper, the only obvious difference is that Amash’s family was Christian while Tlaib’s family is Muslim. The New York Times’ message is that Muslims are “people of color” and Christians aren’t. It doesn’t matter if their families might have lived some 20 minutes away from each other. Arab Christians are white while Arab Muslims are a minority group.

As Twitter observers of the New York Times racial list noted, the paper of racial record appears to invariably list Arab Christians as white, while Muslims are described as people of color.

Canary Mission can confirm that Rashida Tlaib has extensive fundraising ties to Hamas supporters. She employed no less than three Hamas-linked activists to fundraise for her 2018 election campaign, one of whom spent 8 months in prison for his alleged connections to Hamas.

Tlaib additionally used a pro-terror Facebook page, PAC-USA, to raise funds for her 2018 Congressional campaign. Tlaib gave the founder of PAC-USA the position of Chairman of the Finance Committee for Rashida Tlaib for Congress. He used it to promote 12 fundraisers in 8 states, entirely with her support.

In 2015, Tlaib co-founded the Detroit-based, anti-American, anti-Israel and pro-terror hate group, Black4Palestine. A co-founder used the group to conduct activism with members of the Marxist-Leninist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), which is designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO).

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is facing scrutiny from conservatives after a video shared on Facebook by a key campaign fundraiser calling Jews "satanic" surfaced Monday, The Daily Caller reports. Palestinian activist Maher Abdel-qader, who organized campaign events for Tlaib across the country, shared the controversial clip on Facebook in January 2018. "Research the truth about the Holocaust, and you’ll definitely start to question what you thought you knew," says the video’s narrator, before going on to question whether 6 million Jews died in the Holocaust.

  35. Philip Klein, Rashida Tlaib says thinking of the Holocaust provides her a 'calming feeling,' shockingly claims Palestinians created 'safe haven' for Jews, Washington Examiner, May 12, 2019.
There are so many historical inaccuracies in one statement that it's difficult to even know where to start. But to highlight a few:

    — The Jewish presence in the area currently known as Israel dates back thousands of years, and the modern migration of Jews back there pre-dated the Holocaust by many decades, starting with the migration of Jews from Yemen in 1881 . — With the Balfour Declaration of 1917 , the British government supported the establishment of a Jewish state in the area, an idea rejected by Arabs. — In 1937, the British Peel Commission proposed a two-state solution to Jews and Arabs, which the Arabs once again rejected because they could not accept any Jewish presence in the region. — During World War II, the Palestinian leader at the time, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Muhammad Amin al-Husayni, met with Adolf Hitler and allied with the Nazis . As the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum recounts, "al-Husayni collaborated with the German and Italian governments by broadcasting pro-Axis, anti-British, and anti-Jewish propaganda via radio to the Arab world; inciting violence against Jews and the British authorities in the Middle East; and recruiting young men of Islamic faith for service in German military, Waffen-SS , and auxiliary units. In turn, the Germans and the Italians used al-Husayni as a tool to inspire support and collaboration among Muslim residents of regions under Axis control and to incite anti-Allied violence and rebellion among Muslims residing beyond the reach of German arms." — After World War II, when the Jewish people declared the state of Israel, their official proclamation said, "We appeal - in the very midst of the onslaught launched against us now for months - to the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve peace and participate in the upbuilding of the State on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its provisional and permanent institutions." Instead of choosing to live peacefully, however, Arab leaders encouraged Arabs to flee Israel, and the next day, the young nation was invaded by Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq. — The terrorist group the Palestine Liberation Organization was founded in 1964, three years before Israel occupied the West Bank in the Six Day War, territories that we're now led to believe is at the heart of the conflict. So, to sum up, Tlaib's claims that her Arab ancestors provided a "safe haven" to Jews after the Holocaust ignores the Jewish presence in the region and efforts to establish a Jewish state that predated the Holocaust, ignores that her ancestors allied with Hitler at the time of the Holocaust, and ignores decades of violence and terrorism directed at Israel both before, during, and after the Holocaust. It should be noted that she was making this claim in the context of arguing for a one-state solution, the goal of which has always been for Arabs to overwhelm the Jewish population, and then force them as a minority to be governed by the people who are currently launching rockets at them.

... The most important element of the story is the fact that two American congresswomen shunned a bipartisan congressional delegation to Israel to go on an independent trip to Israel sponsored by vicious anti-Semites. Another important element of the story is that, as of today, the mainstream media have whitewashed Omar and Tlaib’s vile associations...

Writing yesterday, the Washington Post said that “Omar and Tlaib’s trip to Jerusalem and the West Bank was planned by Miftah...

First, the group actually published blood libel, posting an article that accused “the Jews [of using] the blood of Christians in the Jewish Passover.” When pro-Israel bloggers condemned the article, Miftah first claimed that the attacks against the piece were part of a “smear campaign” and minimized the reference to blood libel as merely “briefly addressed.”

It was just a light sprinkling of blood libel. Move along, nothing to see here.

The organization later issued a more complete apology, but we’ve barely gotten started with this vile group. It’s also published an American neo-Nazi treatise called “Who Rules America: The Alien Grip on Our News and Entertainment Media Must Be Broken”...

  68. 68.0 68.1 Caroline Glick, "Our World: Why is Muhammad Abu al-Hawa dead?", JPost, Apr 18, 2006.

By murdering him the Palestinian leadership sends a message against peaceful coexistence.

Muhammad Abu al-Hawa was a 42-year-old father of eight when he died last Wednesday night.

As Israeli Jews were beginning our Pessah Seders and retelling the story of our exodus from Egypt and our rebirth as a free nation, Abu al-Hawa was being tortured by Fatah terrorists...

Abu al-Hawa was tortured and murdered because he stood accused of committing what the Palestinians consider a capital crime.

Eight young children were orphaned last Wednesday night because their father allegedly sold an apartment building in Israel's capital city to Jews.

The building in question is located in Jerusalem's A-Tur neighborhood, just above the Temple Mount on the Mount of Olives.

Muhammad Abu al-Hawa was buried in a makeshift cemetery on the road between Jerusalem where he lived, and Jericho where he was murdered. His body was buried there because the Palestinian Authority's mufti in Jerusalem, Ikremah Sabri, has barred all Muslims accused of selling land to Jews from being buried in a Muslim cemetery.

When the PA was established in 1994, the first legal step its chairman Yasser Arafat and its justice minister Freih Abu Medein took was to declare null and void all laws that had been in force until that date. After plunging Palestinian society into legal chaos, Arafat and Medein reinstated one law.

That law was a Jordanian law which Israel had revoked in 1967. It made selling land to Jews a capital offense.

SINCE 1994, dozens of Arab Israelis and PA residents have been murdered on suspicion of selling land to Jews. Abu al-Hawa's murder - like those that preceded it - tells us several important things about Palestinian society.

It tells us that like the PA today, any successor Palestinian state will be a racist, apartheid state where laws will be promulgated based solely on race and religious origin. Jews will be denied all basic human rights and Arabs who peacefully coexist with Jews will be accused of treason and made targets for murder.

On Saturday night Sheikh Raed Salah, the former mayor of Umm el-Fahm and the head of the northern branch of the Israeli Islamic Movement, spoke to an audience of some 30,000 Israeli Arabs in Kafr Kana. There he placed Abu al-Hawa's murder in the context of the Arab-Islamic strategy for conquering Jerusalem. His address, which was broadcast live by al-Jazeera, was devoted to calling for the expulsion of all Jews from Jerusalem. He called on his Arab brethren to "save Jerusalem from the hands of the Jews," promising that "Jerusalem will soon be the capital of the world Islamic nation, and it will be governed by a caliphate." Salah's speech placed him in the company of Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi, the Qatar-based Sunni cleric who acts as a religious authority for both Hamas and al-Qaida. Speaking in Sanaa, Yemen, last December, Qaradawi, who chairs the Al-Quds Foundation, referred to the goal of Islamizing Jerusalem by ending coexistence with Israel as "a civilian jihad that should go side by side with armed resistance."

Today, there is no figure of authority in the Arab and Islamic world in general and in the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority particularly who would have stood up for Abu al-Hawa. For today's Arab and Islamic leaders, murders like Abu al-Hawa's serve an "educational" goal of terrorizing Palestinians into ending any ongoing relationships they may have with Israelis. Neither Abu al-Hawa nor countless other victims before him had an opportunity to answer the charges leveled against them.

According to Palestinians and to Jews involved in purchasing lands from Palestinians, in the majority of cases, the Arabs murdered for the "crime" of selling land to Jews never sold land to Jews. At most they were "guilty" of having ties of friendship or commerce with Israelis. The fact that merely having relations with Jews can expose an Arab to allegations of collaboration is enough to convince most Palestinians that they shouldn't have anything to do with Israel or Israelis. So by murdering people like Abu al-Hawa, the Palestinian leadership ensures that Palestinians will be too afraid of being killed to risk peaceful coexistence with Israel.

First of kind death sentence by PA's chief Islamic judge to deter real-estate deals with 'the enemy.'

In the first case of its kind, a Palestinian Authority "military court" on Tuesday sentenced a Palestinian man to death by hanging after finding him guilty of selling land to Jews. The verdict came shortly after the PA's chief Islamic judge, Sheikh Tayseer Tamimi, issued yet another fatwa (religious decree) banning Muslims from selling land or houses to Jews.

The death sentence is seen as an attempt by the PA leadership in Ramallah to deter Palestinians from conducting real estate transactions with Jews. It follows reports according to which Jewish individuals and organizations recently bought land and houses from Arabs in Jerusalem and some areas in the West Bank.

The man sentenced to death is Anwar Brigith, 59, from the village of Bet Umar, north of Hebron. The three-judge panel found the defendant guilty of violating PA laws that bar Palestinians from selling property to "the enemy." In its ruling, the court, which convened in Hebron, said that Brigith had acted in violation of a Palestinian "military law" dating back to 1979, which states that it is forbidden for a Palestinian to sell land to Jews. The accused was also found guilty of violating a law dating back to 1958 that calls for a boycott against Israel, as well as another law from 1953 that bans trade with Israelis. The judges issued the verdict unanimously and pointed out that the defendant did not have the right to appeal.

The death sentence, however, must be approved by PA President Mahmoud Abbas. The court was headed by Gen. Abdel Karim al-Masri, who sat together with two other PA security officers, Muhrez Atyani and Nabil Jaber. The court also decided to confiscate Brigith's money and property. Although the PA has never executed Palestinians accused of selling land to Jews, several "suspects" have been kidnapped and murdered by Palestinian security personnel or members of armed groups in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Hatem Abdel Kader, a PA legislator from Jerusalem, told The Jerusalem Post that he fully supported the death sentence against "traitors" involved in real estate deals with Jews. He urged the PA courts to issue death sentences in absentia against any Palestinian found guilty of such transactions, especially in Arab neighborhoods of Jerusalem. "We are fighting against Jewish presence and house demolitions in [east] Jerusalem from one house to another," he said. "We are fighting on all levels and thus far we have been successful in preventing the demolition of some 28 houses in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

In the Old City, the number of Jews is about 3,000, as opposed to more than 30,000 Arab residents. Although the occupation is 43 years old, the Jews have been able to seize only 55 houses in the Old City."
  73. Khaled Abu Toameh, PA affirms death penalty for land sales to Israelis, JPost, Sep 29, 2010.

The PA says the land law is necessary to prevent the expansion of Jewish settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Authority on Sunday reaffirmed the death penalty for any Palestinian found guilty of selling land to Israelis.

The decision came in response to a ruling by a Palestinian court according to which such acts were only a “minor offense.”

PA Prosecutor-General Ahmed al-Mughni appealed against the ruling to a higher court, arguing that the sale of land to Israelis was a “major offense” punishable by death.

    The appeal was accepted.

That verdict considering such offenses a major offense is aimed at reminding Palestinians of the PA law that prohibits selling land to Jews, Mughni said.

The land law, which was originally put in force by Jordan between 1948 and 1967, carries the death sentence.

The PA says the law is necessary to prevent the expansion of Jewish settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.

In 1997, the PA announced that it would seek the death penalty for any Palestinian convicted of selling land to Jews or Israelis, in accordance with the Jordanian “Law for Preventing the Sale of Real Estate to the Enemy.”

According to the 1973 legislation, the sale of property to Jews or Israelis constitutes a crime against state security and well-being, punishable by death and the confiscation of the culprit’s possessions.

The PA later drafted its own law to replace the Jordanian statute. The law is called the “Property Law for Foreigners.”

It describes the sale of land to “occupiers” as an act of “national treason.” Although the PA has thus far refrained from executing those convicted of selling land to Jews, there have been many extrajudicial killings of Palestinian suspects over the past decades.

  76. Palestinian-American Tortured, Sentenced to Life in Prison by PA for Selling Land to Jews, David Rutz, Free Beacon, Jan 2, 2019.

A Palestinian-American was tortured by the Palestinian Authority and then sentenced to life in prison with hard labor this week for the crime of selling land to Jews.

Issam Akel, an East Jerusalem resident and U.S. citizen, was sentenced Monday by a Palestinian court for "attempting to cut off a part of the Palestinian land and adding them to a foreign country," the Jerusalem Post reports. The official news agency of the PA referred to his crime as "selling a house to the enemy in Jerusalem":

Akel was accused of acting as a broker in the sale of a house jointly owned by the Alami and Halabi families in the Muslim Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem. Palestinians claimed that the house was sold for $500,000 to Ateret Kohanim, a Jewish organization that has been purchasing Arab-owned properties in east Jerusalem for several years. The PA, the Palestinians said, has frozen the bank accounts of Akel and the two families.

Israel's police are investigating the circumstances of Akel's arrest by the PA. There are conflicting reports over whether he was was arrested by Palestinian authorities while in Ramallah or was seized from East Jerusalem. The Post notes he holds an Israeli ID and is immune to prosecution in a PA court.

Shoshanna Keats-Jaskoll, writing in the progressive Jewish publication Forward, said she heard from people in touch with Akel that he was lured to Ramallah under false pretenses and then tortured. His wife and an American official who spoke with him while he was imprisoned also said he was tortured.

A man Keats-Jaskoll called "Ali" testified before the Knesset about his experience with torture at the hands of the Palestinians. He said his captors threw hot water and rotten food at him in a cage, forced him to sit on broken glass and hung him upside down. Ali's crime was collaborating with Israeli security forces, a requirement under the Oslo accords but a violation of hardline Palestinian law.

The case got the attention late last year of U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, who demanded Akel's release and called his incarceration "antithetical to the values of the US & to all who advocate the cause of peaceful coexistence."

Keats-Jaskoll added leading left-wing human rights groups like Jewish Voice for Peace and Code Pink had been silent on Akel's treatment by the Palestinians. She also criticized liberal, anti-Israel figures like Marc Lamont Hill and incoming Palestinian-American congresswoman Rashida Tlaib for saying nothing on the matter.

As of this writing, heartbreakingly brave Iranian women have been protesting for 10 days and nights in the streets of at least 80 cities [now 90]. They are risking death for the right not to wear the hijab. Women have been burning their hijabs and cutting their hair. They’ve been heard chanting “Women, Life, and Freedom,” and “Death to the dictator.” The Iranian mullahs have unleashed the Revolutionary Guard and paramilitary (Basij) forces against the protestors. They have been dragging women by their hair, banging their heads on the ground, tear-gassing, beating, shooting, arresting, and murdering them. Fatality estimates range from 50-400 protesters and bystanders.

These protests were sparked by the Sept. 16 death — in morality police custody — of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish Iranian woman. She was apprehended while in a car with her family because she was, allegedly, wearing her hijab incorrectly. While the police denied beating or torturing her to death, a photo of Amini in a hospital bed reveals her bloodied face. She was in a coma.

"Rep. Tlaib isn't content to 'All Lives Matter' the mass rape of Jewish women by Hamas. She has actually appropriated the atrocities perpetrated against Jews," wrote Batya Ungar-Sargon, Newsweek's opinion editor.

The U.S. House of Representatives voted unanimously, 418-0, to condemn Hamas terrorists for rape and sexual violence on Oct. 7.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), a progressive member of the “Squad” who has a long history of antisemitic comments, voted “present,” as the House passed H.Res.966 on Wednesday.

“On Oct. 7, Hamas terrorists attacked Israel, mercilessly killing 1,200 people; raping, mutilating, burning and assaulting their victims to inflict physical and psychological pain, unleashing trauma that continues to plague a grieving Israel,” stated Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla.), who introduced the resolution.

“The brutality was planned and calculated,” Frankel added. “Sadly, Hamas’s savagery has been met with a shrug—and even denial—from many corners of the world. Our resolution loudly and clearly condemns all rape and forms of sexual violence as weapons of war, including those acts committed by Hamas terrorists on and since Oct. 7.”

Frankel introduced the resolution, which received 200 co-sponsors from both sides of the aisle, with Reps. Mario Díaz-Balart (R-Fla.), Kathy Manning (D-N.C.) and Jen Kiggans (R-Va.).

The resolution condemns all rape and sexual violence “as weapons of war,” including those Hamas committed on and after Oct. 7; calls on all countries to criminalize rape and sexual assault and hold both state and non-state armed groups accountable for such attacks; and tells international groups to “unequivocally condemn the barbaric murder, rape, sexual assault and kidnapping by Hamas and other terrorists on and since Oct. 7 and hold accountable all perpetrators.”

It also reaffirms the U.S. government’s “support for independent, impartial investigations of rape and sexual violence committed by Hamas on and since Oct. 7” and “reaffirms its commitment to supporting survivors of rape and sexual violence, including those brutalized on and since Oct. 7.”..

  82. Melissa Koenig, Inside the Islamic Jihad, the group blamed for the attack on a Gaza hospital, NY Post, Oct. 18, 2023.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a lesser-known terrorist organization working in coordination with Hamas, has been blamed for a deadly attack on a hospital in Gaza City. ... at the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital... Israeli officials .. demonstrated that the blast at the hospital was caused by a misfired rocket launched by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

The attack marked the deadliest escalation of the war between Israel and Hamas since the terrorist group launched its surprise attack on October 7.

Here is what we know about the Islamic Jihad and its ties to Hamas:

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad is the second-largest armed group in Gaza, with around 1,000 active members, according to the U.S, Director of National Intelligence.

Its goal is to establish an Islamist Palestinian state and destroy the state of Israel, according to Fox News.

The group was founded in 1979 in the Gaza Strip to fight Israeli occupation and continues to maintain a presence in both Gaza and the West Bank.

It is now led by Sec. Gen. Ziya al-Nakhalah, whom the United States Department of State classifies as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist.

How does it relate to Hamas?

The PIJ and Hamas are considered the two most important members of the joint operations room, which coordinates most military activity among armed groups in the Gaza Strip, according to The New York Times.

But the PIJ often works independently from Hamas, and is more focused on military confrontations — and has rejected peace talks with the Jewish state.

Its military wing, the al-Quds Brigades, has been responsible for many of the attacks on Israel over the past few years.

Israel and the United States consider both organizations to be terrorist groups.

What role has the PIJ played in the current war? Aside from being blamed for the attack on the Gaza City hospital, al-Nakhalah has taken responsibility for holding captive more than 30 of the hostages Hamas took when it launched its surprise attack on Israel earlier this month.

In a statement, the al-Quds Brigade spokesman said: “We are part of this battle and our fighters are shoulder to shoulder alongside their brothers in the Al-Qassam Brigades until victory, God willing.”

What is its relation to Iran? The PIJ, like Hamas, receives support from Iran, Syria, and the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, Fox reports

Iran, in particular, has provided rockets and drones to the terrorist organization, which got much of its inspiration from the Iranian revolution — seeing it as a movement to be modeled across the Arab world.

In that fashion, the PIJ adopted the suicide techniques used by Islamists in Iran in 1979.

Shaqaqi’s successor, Ramadan Abdallah Shallah, has also held meetings with Iranian officials in Tehran and Damascus.

Israeli officials now believe Iran is orchestrating the terrorist group’s attacks.

  91. Ben Cohen, ‘It Wasn’t An Airstrike’: Forthright Critic of Israeli Military Says IDF Not Responsible for Gaza Hospital Explosion, Algemeiner, Oct 19, 2023.
A former Human Rights Watch (HRW) official with a long record of harsh criticism of Israeli military conduct has added his voice to the controversy around the explosion on Tuesday near the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza City — saying clearly that an Israeli air strike was not responsible.

“Whatever hit the hospital in Gaza, it wasn’t an airstrike,” Marc Garlasco — a former US Defense Department and UN official who previously served as a senior military expert with Human Rights Watch — stated in a post on X/Twitter.

“Even the smallest JDAM [Joint Direct Action Munition, a guided air-to-surface weapon] leaves a 3m crater,” Garlasco added, alongside a photograph of the impact crater in the car park adjacent to the hospital that, according to Israeli and US intelligence, was struck by a misfired missile launched against Israel by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group.

“Widespread surface damage and total lack of cratering inconsistent with an airstrike,” Garlasco noted.

During his career at HRW from 2003-2010, Garlasco authored three highly critical reports of Israel’s military, focusing on the use of white phosphorous in Gaza, cluster munitions in Lebanon, and the demolition of Palestinian homes in Rafah, at the southern end of the Gaza Strip. In 2006, Garlasco was directly challenged by Maj. Gen. Meir Klifi of the IDF over his assertion that eight members of a Palestinian family had been killed at a Gaza beach by artillery shells fired by Israeli forces. After meeting with Klifi, Garlasco revised his conclusion, saying that the deaths were more likely caused by unexploded Israeli ordinance.

Garlasco left HRW under a cloud in 2010, following revelations the previous year that he was an avid collector of Nazi military memorabilia. He subsequently went on to become a civilian protection specialist, serving with the UN’s aid mission in Afghanistan.
