Zohran Kwame Mamdani is a populist, Ugandan-born Islamic socialist immigrant, anti-white racist[1] and the charismatic Democratic Party mayor-elect of New York City after winning more than 50% of the vote in the 2025 Mayoral election. Mamdani was endorsed by far-Left Democrat representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Zohran Mamdani was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, moving to New York City with his family at the age of 7. A graduate of the NYC Public School System, he attended the Bronx High School of Science and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Africana Studies from Bowdoin College. A few years later in 2018, he became a naturalized American citizen.
2025 Mayoral campaign
He embarked on promising freebies and using TikTok clips to make him look cool, duping Gen Z.
Mamdani expressed 'solidarity' with individuals convicted of terrorism-related offences, which raised concerns about whether he disclosed such sympathies during the naturalisation process.[2] Mamdani refused to condemn the slogan "globalize the intifada", widely considered to be a Muslim terrorist call to arms.[3] "It is indisputable that many of the policies and beliefs he espouses are alarmingly tied to antisemitic ideologies."[4] His call to tax whiter neighbourhoods was described by Eric Daugherty as "racist".[1]
'activism is jihad'
A former Zohran Mamdani intern proudly declared activism is “all jihad” and encouraged protesters to get suspended or arrested in defiance of the West’s “settler colonialism.”[5]
In Oct 2025, Mamdani appeared, all smiles, in the terror hub mosque, where the Islamofascist imam us linked to the 1993 WTC bombing.[6][7] Then, Mamdani Associates threatened New York Post for reporting on his Jihadist Imam.[8]
After the scandal of Zohran Mamdani meeting with Imam Siraj Wahhaj broke, the New York Post did what the rest of the local media refused to do, reporting on the fact that the candidate for mayor had…posed with an unindicted co-conspirator in the Blind Sheikh plot to bomb NYC landmarks spoke at a mosque that had been under NYPD surveillance for its terror tiesembraced an imam who had called for Jihad and the takeover of America As part of its reporting, the New York Post even picked up the viral video that Freedom Center Investigates posted in which Wahhaj spewed hate at America. Mamdani had no defense against any of this except to cry ‘Islamophobia’. And his Islamist allies at CAIR went one better by threatening to stop distribution of the New York Post to suppress its reporting on Mamdani. CAIR, Emgage and a group of Yemeni bodega owners rallied to threaten the newspaper for reporting the truth about Mamdani and Wahhaj and demanding “a public apology to Imam Siraj Wahhaj, Muslim Americans” and “an end to government officials legitimizing the Post’s platform”. CAIR, notably, is a prominent backer of the Mamdani campaign, and the rally’s organzier, Debbie Almontaser, was a board member of the Muslim Democratic Club alongside Mamdani so these are really close Mamdani associates threatening the paper for reporting on the candidate.
There’s no attempt even being made to disprove the facts about Wahhaj, which includes quotes from the anti-American extremist, just brute force intimidation and censorship.
Mamdani visited genocidal mosque Islamic Society of Bay Ridge in Brooklyn and had posted a picture of himself speaking there alongside extremist cleric Sheikh Muhammad Al-Barr, on his social media.[9]
Indeed, Mamdani ties to Muslim Brotherhood-linked mosque raised alarm.[10]
Mamdani has vowed to have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested by NYPD if elected mayor.[11]
Mamdani donors envision Islamic bloc to control US politics.[12]
9/11 controversy
In Sep 2025, Mamdani was slammed by terminally-ill 9/11 hero for associating with terror sympathizer Hasan Piker who saud that America "deserved" 911 Islamic massacre).[13]
In a slap and to diminish 911 nearly 3,000 victims of Islamism massacre, Mamdani "weeped" about a supposedly "aunr" who was embarrassed riding the subway with her hijab for dirty looks. As the "real" victim.[14] It turned out, Taqiyya Mamdani also lied, as his aunt wasn't in NY and wore no hijab. Then, he attempted to switch "aunt" for "deceased cousin."[15] No way to ask the "cousin", now..
In Oct 2025, Mamdani was slammed for claiming his Muslim aunt was a supposed 911 "victim."[16]
Ahead of NY elections: [17]
Controversy surrounding the Columbia University father of socialist New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani resurfaced on social media after a video of him claiming that Adolf Hitler was inspired by President Abraham Lincoln went viral leading up to Tuesday’s election.
Ahead of the elections, this Muslim socialist Mamdani campaigned at gay transsexuals bar 1 am. [18]-
Tax the whites
Conservative columnist Victor Davis Hanson exposed, hypocrite entitled Mamdani, called out his plan to tax “whiter neighborhoods,” arguing that white people aren’t the majority of wealthy earners in the U.S.[19]
“We were just talking about entitled people. He goes to Bowdoin College. His dad is a professor of Middle East Studies. His mother’s a filmmaker. He’s very wealthy. He was pampered. He kind of lounged around after college, and then he says he’s going to go after the more affluent and whiter....Mamdani’s father Mahmood is a renowned postcolonial scholar of Gujarati Shia Muslim background who teaches at Columbia University, while his mother Mira Nair is a well-known Indian‑American filmmaker. After relocating to Manhattan’s Upper West Side, Mamdani attended the Bank Street School, a prestigious private school that costs around $66,000 today, according to Mint. Since earning his bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College in Maine, reports show Mamdani’s current net worth sits at $200,000, and he lives in a $2,250 a month rent-stabilized Astoria apartment, Mint reported. Mamdani additionally acquired four acres of land in Jinja, Uganda, which is reportedly valued between $150,000 and $250,000, according to the outlet.
Socialist Zohran Mamdani called for ‘abolition of private property.’[20]
Sex tourism
NYC could become a tourism hotspot – for sex – if socialist Zohran Mamdani becomes mayor, critics warned.[21] No wonder: "Sex Workers Go Wild for Mamdani." He would ve the first mayor to have embraced the idea that “sex work is work” [22]
Winning
Mamdani: staffer who solicited sex from underage minor “Big part of why we won”.[23] Staffer was Matthew Thomas, a Democratic Socialists of America member who served as his Communications Director.
As Mayor-elect, Mamdani picked the former Federal Trade Commission (FTC) chair Lina Khan for his transition team, presumably to oppose:
| “ | private equity firms in the state that have raised rents and monopolized local healthcare industries. Throughout the US, private equity has increasingly monopolized industries through the practice of “roll-ups”, acquiring many small local firms and rolling them into one larger firm, giving them power to simultaneously raise prices and lower quality.[24] | ” |
Immigration
Most Mamdani voters were not native New Yorkers.
| “ | Relative newcomers to New York City were some of the most likely voters in the state to vote for Mamdani, according to exit polls, with about 8 in 10 of those who have lived in New York City less than 10 years supporting Mamdani. He also earned over half of the support of New Yorker City voters who lived for over 10 years but were not born in New York. Voters who were born in New York City voted for Cuomo over Mamdani.[25] | ” |
(Some say, Tucker Carlson’s populist poison laced with pro Nazism (especially with promoting Hitler fan Nick Fuentes[26][27][28][29]) is driving some young Jews toward the radical left, e.g. Mamdani.[30])
Asking for handouts...
Hypocritical Mamdani asked for donations 24hrs after win in order to give out freebies. Already breaking his first promise and asking for more money from his donors to fund his transition into office ..[31]
Mayor of New York City
Mamdani was sworn in taking the oath on the Koran as Mayor of New York City by Letitia James on January 1, 2025.[32]
Radical, bigoted staff
Several appointments in Mamdani's administration, which began on January 1, 2026, have drawn widespread criticism over alleged ties to racism, antisemitism, Islamism, radical anti-Israel activism, and the legal defense of convicted terrorists.
One of the most controversial appointments was Arab Ramzi Kassem, a CUNY School of Law professor named as the city’s Chief Counsel. Kassem previously served as lead defense attorney for Ahmed Ghailani al-Darbi, an al-Qaeda operative who pleaded guilty to involvement in the 2002 bombing of a French oil tanker. Kassem has also represented numerous Guantanamo Bay detainees and other terrorism-related defendants. Critics argue that appointing an attorney with a history of defending Islamist militants to oversee New York City’s legal affairs raises serious concerns about public safety and judgment.[33][34][35]
The administration also faced immediate scrutiny after Catherine Almonte Da Costa, appointed Director of Appointments, resigned less than 24 hours into the role. Her resignation followed the resurfacing of social media posts containing antisemitic stereotypes, including comments portraying Jews as “money[sic] hungry[sic].” The incident fueled criticism over inadequate vetting and tolerance of extremist rhetoric within the administration.[36]
In December 2025, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) released a report concluding that at least 20 percent of Mamdani’s more than 400 transition team members had documented histories of bigotry, including affiliations with antisemitic, anti-Zionist, or anti-Israel organizations. According to the ADL, some of these groups have openly promoted or excused terrorism and engaged in harassment of Jewish individuals and institutions. The findings prompted alarm among Jewish leaders and policy analysts.[37][38]
The New York Post highlighted additional concerns, citing that several key staff members had past associations with radical figures, including praise for Louis Farrakhan and ties to groups that openly advocate for anti-Israel protests. The Post reported that these staff members were involved in organizing or supporting actions that included antisemitic rhetoric, causing alarm among the Jewish community.[39]
Additional transition figures were cited for past praise of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and participation in anti-Israel protests widely criticized for antisemitic rhetoric. Critics argue that these repeated controversies reflect a broader ideological permissiveness toward extremism within Mamdani’s political circle, raising concerns about governance, public trust, and the city’s commitment to combating hate.[40]
On his first day in office,[41] as New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani revoked or amended a broad set of executive orders issued by former Mayor Eric Adams, including orders that:
- Adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism
- Prohibited 'city officials from boycotting or divesting from Israel.'
The move sparked immediate backlash from:
- Jewish advocacy organizations, who warned the changes could weaken protections for Jewish New Yorkers.
- Israel’s Foreign Ministry, which accused Mamdani of fueling antisemitism.
- Republican officials, who framed the action as ideological and dangerous.
- The U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, which said it would closely monitor potential violations of religious liberty.
Cea Weaver, Mamdani’s new "Tenant Director," had previously stated[42] “Impoverish the White Middle Class. "Private property is a weapon of white supremacy". Mamdani, thus, faced the first major crisis of his week-old administration.[43]

Mayor Zohran Mamdani is facing the first major crisis of his week-old administration as his newly appointed tenant advocate’s radical views were exposed — including once branding homeownership a “weapon of white supremacy” and calling on the government to “seize private property.”
The series of past inflammatory social media posts by longtime housing activist Cea Weaver — Mamdani’s director of the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants — unearthed this week sparked outrage and a warning from the Trump administration.
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the Department of Justice Harmeet Dhillon said the feds would be on alert for any potential violations tied to the Democratic Socialists of America member’s extreme views.
