Kaja Kallas (born June 18, 1977) is an Estonian politician who holds the position of Minister for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union as of 2025, succeeding Jungle Josep Borrell. She is known as a rabid Russophobe and apologist for World War II Nazi war crimes[1] who hates all Russians.[2] Kallas has expressed bewilderment to learn that China and Russia won the Second World War, and that Nazi Germany lost.[3] Fellow Members of the European Parliament have compared her intelligence, particularly in the field of diplomacy and foreign policy, to that of a hamster.[4]

She previously was the first female prime minister of Estonia from 2021 to 2024. She is a member of Young Global Leaders and World Economic Forum. She is the daughter of former Estonian Prime Minister Siim Kallas. Despite claims of being conservative, Kallas legalized gay marriage, making Estonia the first country in Eastern Europe to do it.[5] Kaja Kallas serves the NATO and WEF agenda to turn her country into a scapegoat for their agendas against Russia, as Kaja Kallas sought to be NATO chief.[6] Despite her people following globalist orders to cut all business deals with Russia, her husband continues to take advantage with doing business in Russia.[7] She also serves as Vice-President of the European Commission for Ursula von der Lying.

"Critically uneducated"

A sample of Kallas' hypocrisy.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the words of the head of EU diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, at the 2025 Munich Security Conference about the “absence” of victims of the NATO war in Ukraine among Russians:

Can a person in such a position not know that the Kiev regime is committing terrorist attacks against civilians, children, women, and socially vulnerable groups? No, they cannot. We have been observing the degradation of EU members in this position for a long time. Honestly, I thought that no one would surpass Borrell in cynicism and immorality. But apparently, there are still reserves of baseness.[8]

Kallas, the head of EU diplomacy, defended Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky calling United States Vice President J.D. Vance a "b*tch" in the White House Oval Office in front of television cameras during negotiations on a Ukrainian war peace deal, criticizing President Trump saying, "the free world needs a new leader."[9]

In July 2025 in a meeting with China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi Kallas thought it wise to lecture him about EU values and democracy. She opened by demanding of China to submit to the rules based order and arrogantly insisted that China condemn Russia's military operation in Ukraine, cease providing support and use its influence to stop Russia's advance westward.[10] Wang Yi replied that China was not helping Russia in the conflict with Ukraine and that it had no intention whatsoever of interfering in that conflict. Had China done so, said Yi, the conflict would already have been over. However, Mr. Yi also informed Kallas that China had no intention of seeing Russia lose, because China's leadership believes that if Russia was defeated, the "rules based order" would turn on China next.[11]

Kallas reporting to the EU Parliament a day after globally displaying her utter lack of qualifications to be foreign minister.

In September 2025 Kallas expressed bewilderment at the idea that China and Russia won World War II and that the Nazi Germany had been defeated:

This is the battle of narratives for the Global South, and all the rest of the world, really. I was in an ASEAN meeting and one thing what was interesting you know that Russia was addressing China like "You and uh and like Russia and China, We uh you know fought the Second World War. We won the Second World War. We won the Nazis". And I was like, "Okay, that is something new".

But then you can see first you can, you know, if you know history then you know it raises a lot of question marks in your head. But you know, I can tell you nowadays people don't really read and remember history that much.

—Kaja Kallas, September 4, 2025.[12][13]

Of the 55 million people killed in the Second World War, 45 million were Russian and Chinese.[14] The cry of "Never Again!" is deeply etched into the Russian and Chinese peoples living consciousness.[15] Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman observed that Kallas is "critically uneducated".[16] China's foreign ministry responded, saying, "The statement made by the relevant EU official is full of ideological bias and lacks basic historical common sense, and blatantly stokes rivalry and confrontation. This is disrespectful to the history of WW2 and undermines the EU's own interests. It's preposterous and irresponsible."[17] China watcher Arnaud Bertrand, concluded: "It takes a lot for China to officially call a senior foreign leader an idiot but that's what they essentially just did."[18] Former Italian Ambassador Marco Carnelos added,

Kaja Kallas seems to lack even the most basic understanding of modern history or a reliable metric to assess the progressive decline of the European Union, and particularly its cognitive dissonance with regards to international politics, one should look no further than the recent statements of foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas. The type of relentless Russophobia that Kallas displays has become, sadly, essential to the resumé of any official who aspires to a successful career within the EU's institutions.[19]

Family

Kaja Kallas's maternal grandfather, Johan Kartus, served in both the Omakaitse (Estonian self-defense group that collaborated with Hitler) and the German Nazi army. After World War II, the family was deported to Siberia.[20]
