- Korybko: Five Insights Into The Trilateral Russian-Ukrainian-US Talks
- John Helmer describes what the real deal is between Washington and Russia.
- The peace deal is really a land deal. In exchange for Putin's acceptance of Trump's plan for Gaza and seizure of Greenland, Trump will agree to all of the territory that Putin has re-incorporated into Russia, including the territory from which Ukrainian forces are yet to be driven....Helmer suggests that Washington is drawing Russia into joint deals which will be used to compromise Russian sovereignty. This enormously pleases the Russian Atlanticist Integrationists and the Russian oligarchs. It also makes Russia complicit with Washington in the destruction of Palestine, and in substituting a resort in the place of a country and a people. This will weaken BRICS as its members will see Putin as an American accomplice.

- "resilience" has turned into a convenient propaganda screen. It allows the world to admire Ukrainian endurance instead of admitting the obvious — people are simply exhausted to the breaking point. Despite the endless stream of "experts," patriotic bloggers, and official spokespeople who keep telling the world about Ukraine’s "unbreakable spirit," the myth collapses the moment you speak with ordinary Ukrainians."

- "I entitled this article for my VK “The Importance of Documenting Events as They Occur” because I didn’t at the time...One of the events I linked to but never turned into a separate article was the very unusual televising of a meeting of Russia’s Security Council held prior to Putin’s historic speech recognizing the independence of the Donbass Republics. Clearly that was done with the intent that all Russians would be informed of the discussion and debate on what would become an existential decision about Russia and its people’s future....you can find Putin’s historic 21 February speech that reviews most of the history related to the issues at hand that led to Putin’s recognizing the independence of those Republics. Combined, these two events show a degree of governmental transparency unprecedented in history, making Russia IMO the most democratic of the world’s nations. Obama was supposedly a legal scholar; but when compared to Putin the lawyer, Obama is just a tin-pot shyster as are those of his crew [ Jake Sullivan, Victoria Nuland, et al ] that are responsible for today’s conflicts and international crimes."

- BBC: Did Trump declare war and did Congress approve Iran attacks? What to know.
- For decades, in the Clinton & Trump impeachments, apologists argued that "high crimes" was not defined in the US Constitution. Legal experts now say the Constitution explicitly says that only Congress can declare war. Unilateral action by the President without the advise and consent of Congress may be or is a "high crime" and impeachable offense. For example, in modern anti-Communist, de-Stalinized Russia, the Constitution explicitly forbids and criminalizes Russian leaders from starting a war of aggression, which is why the Ukraine operation is called a "Special Military Operation". Dissidents in Russia who accuse Putin or Russia of "starting a war" may face charges of subversion and providing aid and comfort to the enemy.

Six Ukrainians and one American were just arrested in India on the grounds that they illegally crossed from there into neighboring Myanmar to train Indian-designated terrorists in drone warfare. [12]

- "the American political establishment – Congress, the media, and much of the foreign policy bureaucracy – was deeply uncomfortable with a peace formula that could hardly be presented domestically as a victory over Russia”, ergo why the “spirit of Anchorage” fizzled out. Trump “appears to have aligned himself more closely with powerful political and financial groups in Washington, including neoconservative circles and the Israeli lobby”, thus “sidelining” his “original MAGA allies”. The end result is that “Instead of presiding over the slow decline of the liberal-globalist order, Trump is attempting to build a new version of American hegemony, one based far more openly on force.” Correspondingly, Trenin believes that “Washington’s objective today is not necessarily to construct a stable new world order. Rather, it may be to generate global instability and then dominate within that chaos.”

- KC-135 Refueler Crashes In Iraq While Supporting Iran Ops.
- CENTCOM reports the loss an aerial refueller in Iraq over "friendly airspace", two aircraft were involved, and the deaths of 6 service men.
- Here's what's wrong with that reporting
- (a) it is not "friendly airspace" as the democratic parliament which the United States installed in Iraq wants Americans out;
- (b) The KC-135 typically has a crew of three: a pilot, a co-pilot, and a boom operator. Some missions require the addition of a navigator. Still, it was reported that six service members were killed.
- Comment: the incident more resembles the earlier falsely reported "friendly fire" incident in Kuwait that downed 3 F-15s.
- Aside: a KC-135 pilot who flew in Afghanistan told me the US Air Force changed its protocol and jargon cause a boom operator, who is in direct contact with the fighter pilot, normally would say "take your top off" to reveal the receptor valve when the fighter jet was aligned properly. He said that to a female pilot and was written up for sexual harassment.

See: Crude oil#Types for how there are hundreds of different types of Crude oil depending on sulfur content, and how refinery infrastructure is built to service a particular grade of crude oil originating from a specific geographical location.
NATO escalates war
Zaporozhye front
- (a) The war has dragged out because of Putin's desire to avoid civilian casualties. However, now the gloves are off.
- (b) The Dnieper will not be crossed until after the spring snow melt and run off. This year has been record snowfall, so the delay could be six weeks.
- Macgregor: "The Russians are going to move up to Zaporozhye. They're going to cross the river. They're going to seize Odessa. At the same time, I think they will move on Karkov. Those things are I think written into the operations orders. Those are the goals and objectives."
- Interpretation: After the spring runoff and the Russians cross the Dnieper, if the Russians continue west and south toward Nikolaev and Odessa means a shorter war, whereas if they turn north as Krapivnik says to Dnepropetrovsk means a longer war (which ultimately threatens Kyiv and all of Ukraine).
Iran
- Report: Putin offers Trump an off-ramp for war with Iran: Iran to ship enriched uranium to China. [20]
- China has transferred to YLC-8B to Iran. This is how combat testing of an innovation works before it is used in Taiwan. Let's see if Trump, Hegseth, and the boys in the Pentagon are stupid enough to take the bait despite being warned.
- Here's the danger: (a) Russia & China will not allow Iran regime change; (b) any attack on Iran will not be a "one and done" (a "pin prick" as Mearsheimer calls it) like the 12 Day War or Venezuela and Nigerian operations; (c) the boys in the Pentagon may be tempted to see how the Chinese YLC-8B radar system operates to apply to Taiwan defense planning. However, once a bombing operation commences, the US cannot walk away. The US will be committed to at least an 8 or 9 month war which ultimately it will lose.
- Rachel Blevins: Russian AIR DEFENSE + Chinese RADAR Ready for US ATTACK on Iran: THIS IS WW3 | Stanislav Krapivnik.
- Krapivnik says the YLC-8B was combat tested in the 2025 India-Pakistan war.
- Krapivnik: More on an integrated air defense system. [21]
- "The short story is that, for the US air forces to cover the vast distances they will need to cover—and return—they will need to be refueled in the air right up near Iran’s borders—within easy range of Iran’s AD. That’s crazy. It’s worse than that, actually, because Iran’s S-300s (and S-400s?) can reach out hundreds of miles to catch US planes before or near where they would need to be to launch standoff missiles....
- "The YLC-8B is a three-dimensional, long-range anti-stealth surveillance radar developed by China’s Nanjing Research Institute of Electronics Technology. It’s a UHF-band radar, which is particularly effective against stealth aircraft because longer radio wavelengths are harder for aircraft to evade through traditional radar-absorbent materials...."
- "There is absolutely no appetite domestically to engage in another ground war in the Middle East, so that option is a non-starter, which is a good thing, as America’s track record in this regard is terrible....there is a broad misconception that Israel wiped out Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities. This couldn’t be further from the truth."

In both instances, the assumption is these heirs of a 3,000 year old civilization are too stupid and inexperienced to understand they are being manipulated by outside powers.

USS Gerald Ford and alleged sabotage
- Comment: My apologies. It was over my protests that Andy allowed sewage to become such a major foreign policy issue in Conservapedia. History will remember that it was American sailors sabotage by clogging up toilets on Supercarriers that led to the defeat of the American Empire in the Middle East. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 16:48, February 26, 2026 (EST)
- "While the Iranian saga has kept the world on its toes, it has now turned from travesty-in-making to total farce. The USS Gerald R. Ford—the most expensive and ‘advanced’ aircraft carrier in history—has become “mired” in quite a stink—pun intended—as it was revealed that demoralized sailors are potentially sabotaging the ship by flushing items like clothing and mop heads into the ship’s sewage systems, causing widespread septic blockages—a kind of “color revolution of the seas” (color mutiny?), with the color being brown." See also: Essay: The United States may be the leading power in the world for the foreseeable future. What a legacy. - WSJ: Two U.S. Sailors Injured in a Fire on Aircraft Carrier USS Gerald R. Ford.

- "Bad things are happening to American aircraft carriers — and we don’t know exactly what, why, or how. Everything in the American InfoVerse is “laundered”. But the stains remain. Laundering the Truth: A laundry fire that takes thirty hours to extinguish on a $13 billion carrier with the most advanced damage control systems in any navy on earth. That displaces 600 crew from their berths. On a ship designed to take battle damage and keep fighting. And the explanation is the laundry. The Ford has automated fire suppression. It has damage control teams that train constantly. It has redundant systems specifically because carriers are built to survive hits in combat. A laundry fire on a ship designed to survive anti-ship missiles does not burn for thirty hours and render 600 berths uninhabitable. That’s not a laundry fire. That’s damage."
- "A perfect storm involving three U.S. Navy aircraft carriers highlights the strain on the fleet amid an ongoing war in the Middle East and tensions in Asia...One of the carriers was damaged by a fire, another just saw its service life extended for the second time, while a third had its delivery pushed back until 2027...Given that America is in a new war with an uncertain future, there could be further shockwaves to the Navy’s plans for its carrier fleet".

On top of that, Iran is said to be readying a replacement, who may end up being a much bigger hardliner than Khamenei ever was...."

These options require immense political will since they entail the potential cost of a hot war breaking out between Great Powers so it’s unclear whether they’ll be implemented, but likewise, so too might the US and UK ultimately back off from their possible blockades for the same reason."

| “ | Even those who hope Trump chooses to avoid military action in Iran altogether should be taken aback to hear that eight months after the last extended U.S. military campaign ended (the defense of Israel during the 12-day war and Operation Midnight Hammer), American missile defense arsenals could still be in such rough shape…
But eight months should be sufficient to return stocks of some types of defense interceptors to less critical levels. If the missile defense cupboard is truly still bare, however, something else must be going on. That something else, it turns out, is Ukraine. Although President Trump and his advisers are quick to argue that the United States is no longer paying for the military aid supporting Ukraine’s ongoing war, this is only one piece of a larger story. In fact, the United States is still sending billions in weapons to Ukraine, often diverting new weapons intended for the U.S. military directly to Ukraine instead. |

Here is a bit of a summary:
It set up Hezbollah on 1981 in Lebanon, a year before Israel responded to "Palestine" Arafat attacks on its civilians who began the infamous methods of 'dead baby strategy', using its own people as human shields. The tactics lasting to these days and adopted by Hezbollah and other Islamists.
June 14, 1985: TWA Flight 847 was hijacked by Hezbollah after taking off from Athens. Passengers with Jewish-sounding names were separated from the others. U.S. Navy diver Robert Stethem was murdered, and his body was thrown onto the tarmac. Dozens of passengers were held hostage for two weeks until some of the hijackers’ demands were met.
Pursuing the nuclear bomb: Late 1980s-1990s: Iran began covertly purchasing technology and constructing secret sites.
Since 1991, had declared its annihilation wish/plan on Israel, including using nukes.
March 17, 1992: A Hezbollah suicide bombing of the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires killed 29 civilians, including two Israelis, and injured 242 additional civilians. The embassy building collapsed, as did a nearby Catholic church, a school and an apartment building across the street. Most of the casualties were Argentine civilians, mainly children from the school.
On July 18, 1994, in Argentina’s deadliest terrorist attack ever, a truck bomb exploded near the Argentine Mutual Israelite Association (AMIA) Jewish community center building in Buenos Aires, killing 85 people and injuring hundreds more. The Lebanon-based Iranian terrorist proxy Hezbollah, at the instruction of Iran’s top leadership and under the supervision of Iranian diplomats and intelligence officers, carried out the bombing.
A day later:
July 19, 1994, Iran's terror strikes again: Alas Chiricanas Airlines Flight 00901 which exploded near Colon, Panama, killing all 21 people on board, including 12 Jewish business leaders.
May 2008: Two Hezbollah terrorists were captured as they prepared to attack the Israeli embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan. The terrorists underwent advanced training in Iran before departing to Baku, carrying Iranian passports. During their arrest, security forces discovered pistols with silencers, explosives, cameras, binoculars and photographs of the Israeli embassy in their vehicle. The two were tried and sentenced to 15 years in prison. Prior to this thwarted attack, a planned attack by Iran’s Quds Force, aiming to harm Jewish figures at the Eurovision contest in Baku, was also prevented in 2008.
May 26, 2011: Eight Turkish citizens were injured in the attempted assassination of the Israeli Consul in Istanbul. The Quds Force led the attempted assassination with assistance on the ground from Hezbollah members. Preceding this attempt, in 2009 and 2010, were a number of unsuccessful attempts by Iran and Hezbollah to strike Israeli targets in Turkey.
Feb. 14, 2012: Several bombings in Bangkok, Thailand, injured five people. Thai authorities said the bombings were a botched attempt by Iranian nationals to assassinate Israeli diplomats. Several Iranians were arrested and charged with the attacks.
July 18, 2012, Hezbollah suicide bomber targeting a bus filled with Israeli tourists at Bulgaria's Burgas Airport. The explosion killed six people—five Israelis and the Bulgarian driver—and injured 32 others.
May 30, 2015: A Lebanese-Canadian Hezbollah member was arrested in Larnaca, Cyprus, after 8.2 tons of potential bomb-making material were found in his basement. A month later, he was sentenced to six years in jail for preparing the ground for Hezbollah “to harm, through terrorist attacks, Israeli interests in Cyprus.”
Aug. 9, 2018: Two Iranians who collected information on Israeli and Jewish targets in the U.S. and on opponents of the Iranian regime were arrested and later charged with spying for Tehran. One of those charged had carried out surveillance and took photos at several Jewish centers in Chicago, including the Hillel Center and the Rohr Chabad House.

| “ | the Pentagon effectively launched hundreds of strikes on Russia in the last four years, using the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict as a way to test and probe the Russian military, as well as the Kremlin’s strategic reactions and posturing. Many of these attacks were launched at purely civilian targets, the most notorious of which was on June 23, 2024. On that day, at least four US-made ATACMS missiles were shot down by Russian air and missile defenses above Sevastopol, Crimea. The banned cluster submunitions (primarily used against infantry) of at least one missile exploded above the crowded beaches at Uchkuyevka and Lyubimovka on the northern outskirts of Sevastopol.
The attack, nearly coinciding with the anniversary of the Nazi invasion of Russia, killed four civilians and injured over 150 others. At the time of this act of terrorism, US/NATO ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) assets were present above the Black Sea, prompting Moscow’s direct response. The US, aided by its numerous vassals and satellite states, could easily use a similar scenario in a potential confrontation with China, particularly if the warmongers and war criminals in Washington DC manage to escalate yet another conflict, just this time over Taiwan. |

Tolls on the Strait of Hormuz will favor the petroyuan....Without the ability to “bomb” or occupy, the U.S. loses its only remaining leverage to prevent countries from leaving the dollar system—that is, if the US loses and is forced to give up its military domination of the ME.
- "According to Michael Hudson’s analysis, if the U.S. were to “lose” against Iran and be forced to withdraw from the Middle East, the “Treasury Bill Standard”—which has funded the U.S. economy and military for decades—would collapse .
- "Right now, the US has a “free lunch” because foreign central banks are forced to recycle their dollar surpluses largely from oil back into U.S. Treasury bonds to maintain their own exchange rates. But if the US loses, it can no longer coerce foreign nations into holding dollars, which would end the US’ ability to run massive deficits without facing high interest rates or a currency crash.
- "Iran has already begun charging ships $2 million to pass through the Strait of Hormuz as “advance payments” for war reparations. A U.S. withdrawal would likely codify this and accelerate the shift toward oil being priced in Yuan, Rupees, or local currencies. Most countries would not need to hold the large dollar reserves they need now. And the US would not be able to skim off the top. .
- "The U.S. would become isolated -- unable to trade its paper IOUs for real physical goods. At the same time, its high-cost, financialized economy would inhibit reindustrialization. The US’s only real commodity is debt.
- "To attract buyers for its $34 trillion debt the U.S. would have to offer significantly higher interest rates – which we already see happening. Unable to export inflation to fund military spending, it would face soaring inflation — and would likely cut domestic spending, leading to both economic and social instability . Remember the Weimar Republic.
- "A US defeat would accelerate the shift of the “Global Majority” (BRICS+) to financial alternatives leaving the “West” in an long-term economic depression. Listen to what Alastair Crooke says. US defeat is the end of the PetroDollar and US hegemony.
- "[Michael] Hudson characterizes U.S. as a Mafia state and its military presence as a “protection racket”. Without the ability to “bomb” or occupy, the U.S. loses its only remaining leverage to prevent countries from leaving the [petro]dollar system."
- Note: The "foreign central banks" refers to the oil profits from the Gulf States & Saudi Arabia invested in T-Bills to finance the US deficit (MIC, USAID, Somali fraud scandal, Obamacare, gay comic books in Peru, etc.), Look no farther for the worthlessness of US "security guarantees" that Zelensky is begging for than what is happening to the undemocratic corrupt oligarchic Gulf States now. - The Great Leveling: Median income in the Gulf States in some cases exceeds $60,000 per year, while US economic sanctions on Iran for the past 47 years have held Iran's median income under $6,000. Sure, Iran has much more population, but the economic sanctions have also widened the disparity.

Update: Russian oil and gas revenues up $175 million a day since unprovoked US aggression in the Middle East costing American taxpayers and consumers $1 Billion daily. If crude oil hits $200/bbl as forecasted in a war of attrition, that would be well over +$350 million daily in the Russian war chest, compared to a -$1,000 million to US taxpayers (and consumers through inflation), a differential of +$1,350 million, daily. Update: War propaganda claptrap
Hamish de Bretton-Gordon (a retired British Army colonel, former commander of the 1st Royal Tank Regiment, chemical weapons expert, and frequent commentator on defense/military matters) is at it again, having just published an article on January 30, 2026 in the Telegraph titled, “Desperate Putin is coming to the end of the road” (also headlined as “Putin’s army is on its knees. When it still has them”).
This is not the first time that Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon makes a fool of himself… He has a proven track record of being completely wrong about the war in Ukraine. Consider his bold and totally wrong predictions on Ukraine’s 2023 offensive that was supposed to push the Russians into the Black Sea. (Spoiler alert: The Russians completely defeated the Ukrainian offensive by the end of August 2023.)
Even before Ukraine launched its failed offensive in June 2023, Hamish was notably optimistic about Ukraine’s prospects, predicting strong Ukrainian performance based on superior Western equipment, tactics, and Russian weaknesses.
Here are some of his more egregious key predictions and statements from two plus years ago:
- In June 2023, he stated: “As a former tank commander, I can say one thing for certain: Putin’s demoralised conscripts are utterly unprepared for the shock action now hitting their lines.” Hamish was overly confident in Ukraine’s ability to deliver decisive blows using Western-supplied armor (e.g., Challenger 2 tanks) and combined arms maneuver warfare, and woefully ignorant about the defensive lines Russia had constructed in advance of the Ukrainian attack.
- He also expressed enthusiasm for British-made tanks, reportedly tweeting or stating something along the lines of “British-made tanks are about to sweep Putin’s conscripts aside,” emphasizing their superiority over Russian forces. Here again, Hamish apparently never learned that such a ground offensive required significant close-air support from an air force that did not exist.
- Earlier in the buildup (e.g., spring 2023), he insisted that ambitious Ukrainian strikes, potentially ambitious in scope, buttressed by new Western arsenals would achieve quick breakthroughs.
- By late July 2023 (as the offensive was underway but stalling all along the southern front), he wrote in The Telegraph that the counteroffensive was in its early stages, urged the West to ensure its success “at all costs,” and predicted that Ukraine would eventually “punch through the Russian defence lines and retake the Crimea and the East.” He stressed that failure would be catastrophic for the West, but remained bullish on eventual success despite delays and challenges like mines and prepared defenses.
Hamish is nothing more than a crude, buffoonish propagandist. He followed a script (likely pre-approved by British intelligence) focusing on Russian demoralization, poor conscript quality, and the advantages of NATO-style maneuver warfare. However, like so many other Western pundits, he underestimated the impact of Russia’s extensive fortifications, minefields, and artillery density, which slowed advances significantly. Post-offensive assessments (e.g., in later 2023 articles) noted the counteroffensive fell short of expectations, but de Bretton-Gordon continued advocating strongly for increased Western support to enable Ukrainian gains.
In his latest opinion piece, de Bretton-Gordon argues that Russia’s military campaign in Ukraine is collapsing due to unsustainable manpower losses and desperate recruitment measures. Key points include:
- Reports confirm that wounded Russian convicts (many missing limbs from battlefield injuries) are being forcibly returned to the front lines to plug critical manpower shortages, highlighting the Kremlin’s extreme desperation. (Hamish forgets to mention that these reports came to him courtesy of the Ukrainian intelligence service, which was funneling them to the British and American counterparts.)
- He describes Putin as a “criminal” leader running out of “cannon fodder,” with Russia’s army increasingly reliant on poorly trained, injured, or coerced personnel rather than professional forces.
- This reflects broader exhaustion: massive casualties (hundreds of thousands), low morale, equipment shortages, and inability to sustain offensive operations despite territorial gains in some areas.
- De Bretton-Gordon frames this as evidence that Putin’s strategy is failing, predicting the regime is nearing a breaking point where it can no longer prosecute the war effectively without major concessions or collapse.
- He ties this to the need for continued Western support for Ukraine, implying that sustained pressure could force Russia toward negotiation or defeat.
Poor Hamish… Didn’t learn a damn thing during his career with the British army and is either too stupid or too gullible to do any critical thinking. Let’s deal with one inarguable fact. In 2025, Russia and Ukraine conducted 14 exchanges of soldiers’ bodies, with Ukraine repatriating 14,480 bodies from Russia and Russia receiving 391 bodies from Ukraine. That means for every dead Russian soldier there were 37 dead Ukrainians. Guess which side is suffering “massive casualties and low morale”? [67] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:RobSmith (talk)
- Another piece of war propaganda claptrap is the idea that Ukraine is somehow filled to the brim with independent Nazi squadrons, so that Judeans are making this huge sacrifice by supporting them, and it's not that they're getting a whitewash of their Cold War support of the Soviet Union and other Communist regimes. Trump Support Negative Even Among White Working Class; Approval of His Agenda at Only 27%
- "Trump’s approval ratings are higher than for his policies. This sort of disconnect is not unusual but the relative level is."
- The explanation is simple: people, about 10%-15% of the general electorate or 20-30% of the MAGA base (about 1 in 3 or 4 MAGA voters) are reluctant to voice opposition or disapproval for fear of being thought of as a tranny symp. Update on Ukrainian toilets
since we know from historical experience Conservapedia readers are waiting with bated breath for the news:
- Somewhat swept under the rug by all the new commotion filling the news cycles today was the fact that yesterday Ukraine suffered a massive unprecedented country-wide blackout which even blew out major parts of neighboring Moldova.
Without electricity, water can't be pumped up in high rise apartments or to flush out sewage lines (like in America's first world sewage system that we're all so proud of). The spread of disease due to lack of sanitation will have to wait as a developing story.
Meanwhile, with this entirely predictable outcome as the result of America spending $365 Billion to fight an entirely pointless war, neocons, Nazis, and warmongers continue to lobby for more funding and war. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 02:15, February 2, 2026 (EST)
- "And if things do get even worse for Ukraine, and the cries of ‘humanitarian disaster!’ become ever-more shrill, let us remember one important fact. Whenever Ukrainians themselves had the chance to strangle the Novorossiyans via resources, they used it. After the war started, Ukraine destroyed the Seversky Donets canal which supplied water to Donbass, resulting in mass water shortages in Donetsk that remain to this day. It forced Russia to construct an emergency water canal from Rostov to Donetsk to alleviate the threat of major regional water shortages, though to this day it is unknown if it is fully functional yet, as it had only undergone publicized “tests” previously. Some reports claim it is functioning but “under-performing” and not fulfilling its objective of adequately resupplying Donetsk.
- "Even NYT had reported on it last year, though the rag naturally refused to name the culprit of the canal’s destruction, using the famous Gaza ‘passive voice’ technique to say it had simply been “destroyed during Russia’s offensive”: [69]
- "Most famously of all, Ukraine blockaded Crimea’s water supply by damming the North Crimean Canal which led to notoriously severe droughts and humanitarian issues in Crimea, which the Ukrainians and their Western sponsors were absolutely gloat-happy over. Russia only managed to resolve the issue after finally taking control of the artificial dam in 2022 and destroying it to allow water to flow to Crimean citizens for the first time since 2014.

| “ | I think the average folk listening to that don't understand the amount of training that is required to produce a soldier that can be marginally effective in combat. And yet you also have to have a secure place where you can do training, right? There's not a secure place left in Ukraine. Russia can reach out and touch them wherever they are to the far west. So that begs the question, how long can Ukraine continue to just pour untrained personnel into this cauldron of death, and you know at some point it will break. They cannot sustain it. Nobody can.
And then on top of it add the hardships without power, without running water, without working toilets. You know, anybody that's ever been in an apartment building above four stories understands that, to get water up there, you got to pump it up. And those pumps run on electricity. And the pumps aren't running. How are you going to get water up there other than carry it? You know, carrying a day supply of water is pretty heavy. So you go up and down those stairs multiple times. That's why I'm saying this is unsustainable for these people, and that's where I think Russia has now made the decision they're going to work as hard as they can to make it unsustainable to compel them to surrender. That's where I think we're starting to see a change in Russian tactics now from what it has been. |

The second Trump administration is not following its own National Security Strategy
To quote the Trump 2.0 article:
In December 2025, the new National Security Strategy (NSS25) was released.[1] The document states, "The days of the United States propping up the entire world order like Atlas are over" and can be summarized as follows:[2]
- “Trump Corollary” to Monroe Doctrine is now the core pillar.
- China downgraded from existential threat to economic competitor.
- Taiwan deterrence [...] “ideal” but conditional on allies paying up.
- Indo-Pacific secondary, Western Hemisphere + homeland first.
- No more democracy crusades, no value imposition abroad.
- Tariffs quietly admitted as failure, focus shifts to multilateral pressure.
- Biggest shift since 1945: from global cop to fortified hemisphere power.
- Allies will be asked to foot the bill while US rebuilds at home.
- Fortress America is back.
Defense One[3] reported that working from the premise that Europe is facing "civilizational erasure" because of its immigration policies and "censorship of free speech,"[4] the NSS proposes to focus U.S. relationships with European countries on a few nations with like-minded—right-wing, presumably—current administrations and movements. Austria, Hungary, Italy, and Poland are listed as countries the U.S. should "work more with…with the goal of pulling them away from the [ European Union ]."
“And we should support parties, movements, and intellectual and cultural figures who seek sovereignty and preservation/restoration of traditional European ways of life…while remaining pro-American," the document says.
- ↑ National Security Strategy of the United States of America, November 2025. White House.
- ↑ bob gonzales, X, Dec. 4. 2025. [1]
- ↑ A fuller version reviewed by Defense One outlines the Trump administration’s plans for shedding old relationships and creating new ones, Meghann Myers | December 9, 2025.
- ↑ Erasure of Compatible Values: Trump's New National Security Strategy Recasts Europe as Strategic Liability, Simplicius, Dec 07, 2025.
It has now been two months since the release of NSS25. And the second Trump administration's actions since then have established that it is not following its own National Security Strategy.
Let's take into consideration the following:
- China has not been downgraded from an existential threat to an economic competitor. If it was, it wouldn't still be listed as a foreign adversary by the Department of Commerce.
- The Western Hemisphere is not being put first. If it was, the administration wouldn't have attacked Venezuela in part (if not entirely) because of its ties to Iran.
- The administration is currently pursuing a democracy crusade against Iran.
- The administration is still imposing or threatening to impose tariffs against Europe, and over foreign policy disagreements rather than trade imbalances.
- The administration is continuing to act as a global cop, particularly against Iran.
- The administration is seeking to dismantle America's current borders rather than fortify them as "fortress walls", given its sudden appetite for expansionism.
- The administration is supporting controlled opposition figures who masquerade as right-wing sovereignty while parroting neocon and even Democrat talking points. Looking at you, Nigel Farage.
- And above all, the administration is continuing to employ and/or ally with neocon "legends" like Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham.
So, what's the deal?--Geopolitician (talk) 18:36, February 5, 2026 (EST)
- Trump put NATO to bed, and that's a big deal. About April or thereafter, Trump, Putin, and Xi are scheduled to meet in Beijing for what's being billed as Yalta II. This is supposed to be an effort to bring China into nuclear arms control talks with Russia & the US - a first.
- As to Iran, Trump has a debt to pay to Miriam Adelson, but I think cooler heads may prevail. Evidently Trump is being told by some of the boys in the Pentagon that it's a suicide mission to strike Iran. The rest is just PR talk (democracy, regime change, etc.) RobSAbnormal is fine. - Bilateral nuclear arms control talks were extremely complicated, and took almost 20 years to result in a treaty. When they finally were completed, in 1987, the Cold War ended and the Soviet Union fell. Can you imagine how complicated trilateral negotiations would be that include China? (for example, the US and China do not even have a nuclear hotline for deconfliction like Washington & Moscow installed after the Cuban Missile Crisis). Yet it was Xi who initiated the phone calls to Putin & Trump and invited them to Beijing to discuss these issues the same day the START II treaty expired. RobSAbnormal is fine. - China and Russia are wasting their time continuing to negotiate with this administration. The fact that the neocon sleeper cells in this administration haven’t been removed and continue to dictate policy establishes that this administration is playing a double game, and nothing coming out of it is in good faith.--Geopolitician (talk) 12:56, February 7, 2026 (EST)

- If Europe has indeed broken its dependence on the American military industrial complex, then China and Russia should be courting Europe, not the US. As long as the neocon sleeper cells remain in place, this administration deserves to be isolated. Especially after China and Russia wasted several years of their time, waiting out the Biden regime hoping Trump would bring real change, only to be let down. They have no reason to remain patient any longer. They just don't.--Geopolitician (talk) 13:39, February 7, 2026 (EST)
- Europe is actually courting China as a response to Trump tariffs. An overall European security structure, such as Putin has proposed, remains on the table.
- The wheels of change turn slowly. Right now many people, internationally, in the US government, in the opposition Democrats and even opponents in his own party are just trying to wait Trump out. But the mistrust of the United States' reliability in NATO & Europe will survive beyond his term of office - something globalists tried to thwart beginning with the Russia hoax in 2015. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 14:14, February 7, 2026 (EST)
- They're not just trying to wait him out. They're also trying to manipulate him into giving them what they want while he's still in office. Behind the scenes, he asks for their advice, and they respond by applying troll logic to his ideas until the purposes behind them are defeated, hoping he doesn't notice. That strategy is working, at a frequency far greater than what can be tolerated.--Geopolitician (talk) 14:54, February 7, 2026 (EST)
- And the same day, Trump restored part of the deconfliction agreement with Moscow that Biden canceled. This can be seen as a measure of good will and not just treaty compliance.

WHO vaccinated 603,000 Gaza children under 10 in early 2025—MORE than the pre-Oct-7-war population of that age group
Child Casualties. Since the early days of the war, news outlets and influencers on social media have blindly repeated Hamas’ claim that the majority of casualties were women and children. The claim implied that the IDF was specifically targeting both groups. Beyond this claim not being true – men of combat age account for around 46.7% of total casualties [77] – data from the World Health Organization (WHO) displays that 603,000 children under the age of 10 were vaccinated at the beginning of 2025. This number exceeds the pre-war population of that age group, indicating that the overall population of young children has remained stable or even grown despite the war.
Aizenberg @Aizenberg55: 📌The WHO—not Hamas or Israel—delivered one of the most decisive Gaza war data points. It reported 603,000 children under 10 vaccinated in early 2025—MORE than the pre-war population of that age group! Every claim of excessive or undercounted fatalities collapses with this data. 'We'll slaughter them like Hitler did' - Every Gazan Arab "Palestine" child taught by UNRWA
'You’ll see chaos': Gazan-born Jewish convert warns West of Islamist ideology. Dor Shachar, who watched Hamas rise from the inside, says they are reflective of the culture that elected them. ‘The majority chose Hamas’.
“I wanted to be a Jew because I chose life, I chose love and not hatred,” says Dor Shachar, who was born Ayman Abu Soobuch, a Muslim in Gaza. Photo by Dave Gordon [...] Every child learned how to throw stones at Jews because they teach it. The teacher would tell us to go out and throw stones... Between Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Qassam Brigades, and any other terror group, and most Palestinians in Gaza, they share the same ideas about Jews. [79]
Feb 7, 2026.As a boy in Khan Younis, [Dor] Shachar’s earliest lessons about Jews came from his own grandfather. The older man would invite Jewish visitors for coffee and bread, yet in a different breath urged his grandson to “free the land” one day, by killing Jews. “I said to myself, ‘how can it be? On one side he invites them for food and drink, and on the other he says to kill them.’ From a young age I understood something is wrong.” His neighbours included names that would later become synonymous with terror: Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif and bombmaker Yahya Ayyash. “I knew them well,” he recalled, describing them as “community faces” alongside others from Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Fatah and the PLO. He knew that some neighbours — and his own brothers — had killed Israelis. In the open market, he says he once saw Sinwar sever the head of a Palestinian accused of collaborating with Israel, amid cheering onlookers. Another time, he and his mother found a head in the market street. “They said he was suspected of cooperating with Israel,” he noted. Bystanders were nonchalant, as he remembers it. He recalled children’s television shows that preached “‘go and kill the Jews.’” In mosques, he recalled sheikhs shouting that killing Jews was “the greatest commandment” and “Allah’s will.” Schools run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) were little different: Jews were “pigs, dogs and infidels” who did not deserve to live, and children were told Israelis had one eye in the forehead, or three legs. “But I knew the soldiers, and they’d given me candy sometimes. They don’t have one eye in the forehead — they aren’t like that. The Jews who came to the market in Khan Yunis to give us food aid didn’t have one eye in the forehead. The Jews who came to the weddings of our neighbours didn’t have three legs or an eye in the forehead.”
Inculcating violence was part of the curriculum. “Every child learned how to throw stones at Jews because they teach it. The teacher would tell us to go out and throw stones; then come back and open books as though we were studying. When the soldiers came, they saw little children studying. After the soldiers left, the teachers laughed — ‘these pigs, these dogs, these betrayers, these Jews, we will slaughter them like Hitler did.’”

WSJ on Trita Parsi and Omar Shakir: "The ‘Iranian Lobby’ and the Rights Watch Uncomfortable Middle Eastern questions for two American NGOs"
The ‘Iranian Lobby’ and the Rights Watch Uncomfortable Middle Eastern questions for two American NGOs. By The Editorial Board. Feb. 5, 2026.
Two stories about NGOs—the nongovernmental organizations that news reporters love to quote to smuggle their own views as someone else’s analysis—caught our eye this week. And not only for reasons of schadenfreude.
The first concerns Trita Parsi, executive vice president of the Quincy Institute, which supports an isolationist U.S. foreign policy. Mr. Parsi previously founded and led the National Iranian American Council, or NIAC, which advocates friendlier U.S. policy toward the Tehran regime. Prof. Foad Izadi, an Iranian expert on America who appears on state TV, was asked about Iran’s lobbying efforts on an debate program released Sunday. “Our way should be discussed off the record,” he said. “Our way was Trita Parsi, right?” his student interlocutor asked. “Yes—no, this is being recorded!” he replied.
Mr. Izadi went on to explain that a previous Iranian President sought an “Iranian lobby” in the U.S., but this has proved too weak, more trouble for the regime than it was worth. Mr. Parsi shared a statement by NIAC in reply: “NIAC is 100% an Iranian-American organization and has no connection to the Islamic Republic,” it said, denying that the video clip supports claims to the contrary. In the clip, Mr. Izadi’s interlocutor didn’t mince words: “You made a lobby there called NIAC, which dishonored Iran” by failing in its mission, he said. It certainly hasn’t been able to influence President Trump. The regime has misread him every step of the way.
The second story concerns Human Rights Watch, the watchdog captured long ago by anti-Israel obsessives. On Tuesday its “Israel/Palestine director” resigned, denouncing Human Rights Watch for not being anti-Israel enough.
Omar Shakir says the top brass blocked his team’s report accusing Israel of a “crime against humanity” for not accepting a Palestinian “right of return.” The latter is the idea, required nowhere else, that Israel must accept the millions of descendants of the Palestinians Arabs displaced in the 1948 war they started until there’s no longer a Jewish state. Human Rights Watch says the report didn’t meet its standards. Even Ken Roth, under whose leadership (1993-2022) Human Rights Watch waged political warfare against Israel, said the report used an “unsupported legal theory.” In reply Mr. Shakir asked if Mr. Roth has “different rules for Palestine.” Mr. Roth, who hired Mr. Shakir and took such relish in denouncing Israel, now learns a hard lesson: Once you start abusing the language of human rights for political purposes, it isn’t easy to stop. Bondi's bizarre pivot from Epstein to the Dow
- Don't fall for it. There is no connection between the prosperity of ordinary Main Street Americans and a 50,000 Dow in the era of globalization.
M1 is currency in circulation, commonly referred to as the Federal Reserve "printing press". M2 is entries on bank accounting ledgers, like checking accounts. When the Fed expands M2, the "money" goes straight into Wall Street, basically to buoy stock indexes because of the widespread perception of confidence.
Expanding M2 also has the effect of diluting the influx of foreign capital into Wall Street. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 12:09, February 12, 2026 (EST)
- An example of this (among numerous others in recent decades) is the lack of "shovel-ready jobs" in the Obama stimulus. The "money" never translated into paychecks. TARP "money" was funneled directly into Wall Street to buoy "confidence".

Macgregor: TACO Trump on immigration
while pivoting to endless war in Ukraine, Venezuela, and Iran. [84]
Macgregor: "I try to listen to some of the things that are posted. My impression is I think more and more people are discovering that MAGA is an illusion. The war to make America great again is not overseas. It's here at home. And I don't think anybody expected Donald Trump to reverse what's been going on financially and economically in this country. But he's not really addressing it at all from the standpoint of most of the people that voted for him.
"You know, we all support, I certainly have always supported the enforcement of law, of federal law. Watching the clown show up in Minnesota was very disturbing. It was disturbing to me because anyone who interferes with the conduct of a policeman in the execution of his duties should be arrested. You don't interfere with the police when they're executing their duties. When people come up to you, get in your face, try to take pictures of you, hurl insults at you, throw things at you, they should be arrested. What have we done? We've backed off. Backed off. Now, that's far more important to the base than anything that happens in Iran.
"And what's the problem with the Epstein files? The problem is that people are looking for some evidence that there will be accountability. Nobody cares about people's sexual antics. Nobody cared about Bill Clinton's peccadillos with Monica Lewinsky. That's his business. I mean, most Americans just are not terribly interested in that. But they are interested when children are involved. That's outrageous. That's unacceptable.
"Where is the chief law enforcement officer of the United States? He lives in the White House. He has an obligation, and he is under oath to enforce law. So that's what people are upset about.
"So I think you're right, but I think it's your last comment is most accurate. If this goes south and this air campaign creates more troubles and problems than it solves, which I think is practically inevitable, uh that will be a kind of last straw. It's not going to be the cause of his downfall. But you add that to the failure to enforce the law, the failure to execute the things that he said he was going to do, the failure to deal with the requirement to cut spending to demonstrate to our creditors that we're serious about reigning in government and managing effectively. Those are the things that he ran on. He did not run on more war, a $1.5 trillion defense budget. Most of which we have no idea where all the money in defense goes. We know that. Can't even audit the damn budget. So where is the MAGA president? See, I think it's an illusion. And I think MAGA is dead. I talk to people whenever I talk about America First. That's what's important.
"Our country, what happens here, that's number one. Everything else takes a back seat. And all of these optional military adventures need to be cut. That's it. End of story. He ran on that. You can go back and find his statements. 'I'm going to put an end to the endless wars.' Everybody cheered. Great. What we're seeing is not only the extension, but the worsening of the whole damn thing...."

Axios: America's slipping sympathy for Israel
Regime change
There is a gross misunderstanding common in the West and media what regime change is. Most people believe, as is reported in media, that it means whacking or arresting a regime leader. And the regime leader is usually painted as a "dictator" in total control of the government and society. The people are painted as children without rational thinking who only have blind loyalty to one man.
Regime change means changing the entire structure and system of government. In the case of Iran, it means resecularization, or working at cross purposes to what Conservapedia's desecularization article envisions as the future of conservativism. This has already happened with the victory of the Taliban over the secular United States and NATO in Afghanistan.
The 1979 Islamic Revolution that brought the mullahs to power and toppled the monarchy was desecularization in action. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 17:25, February 28, 2026 (EST)
Analysis
Much will be said about Trump's broken promise to end wars between now and the 2026 Midterms, and leaving JD Vance to clean up this mess in 2028. And we know the Dems are not the party of peace after the Obama experience - they made the global situation worse. Trump evidently is hoping for a quick resolution so he can claim a "win". Of coarse, unclogging the USS Gerald Ford's toilets at this point may be the only win we can get.

Ambassador at UN, reminds Book of Esther - Purim story
Forbes Breaking News. Feb 28, 2026. Israeli UN Ambassador Danny Danon speaks at a UN Security Council meeting following the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran. [88] >> Mr. President, for 47 years, the Islamic regime in Iran has led crowds in chanting Marjbar Israel Marjbar America. do you want to translate these chants? Your leaders have been chanting it for years in public events in your parliament. Marjbar Israel Marjbar America. They mean death to Israel, death to America. Israeli and American flags were painted on roads so they could be trampled. Our flags were burned in public squares.
This is not the anger of a radical fringe. It is state sanctioned hatred. And while those marb chance echoed, uranium was enriched, centrifuges span, missiles were built, facilities were buried deep underground. It was never just empty rhetoric. It was preparation for action.
But today, alongside our ally, the United States, we act to stop it. Israel stands before you today, having acted with the United States to confront and stop an existential threat before it became irreversible. The operation targets nuclear infrastructure, ballistic missile sites, the machinery of repression that fuels terror across our region. We did not act of impulse. We did not act of aggression.
We acted out of necessity because the Iranian regime left no reasonable alternative. This joint effort will continue for as long as the threat remains.
We thank President Trump and acknowledge the close cooperation between Israel and the US which has brought the alliance between our countries to an all-time high in peace and in war.
Let us be clear about what we are confronting.
This regime has built nuclear weapons in blatant disregard of international law and UN resolutions. It has brutally murdered its own citizens and crashed descent and it's happened now as we speak in cities in Iran. It has expanded missile arsenals and armed proxies across the region. It has openly declared its intention to erase Israel from the map. Now, as it faces consequences, it is launching missiles and drones across the region, endangering the UAE, where a Pakistani citizen unfortunately was killed. Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq. As we speak in the last hour, Iran targeted the city of Tel Aviv. Civilian, they don't target military bases. Civilians struck a building in Tel Aviv. An innocent woman was killed and [1]21 people were injured.
This is a regime that destabilizes wherever it reaches. It spreads violence outward while crushing freedom at home. It is not reacting. It is expanding. It is a machinery of radicalism that does not recognize borders.
Mr. President, diplomacy was exhausted. Iran was required to stop enriching uranium, stop heavy water projects, stop developing nuclear capable missiles, and allow full inspections. Iran did none of it. Instead, it fortified its nuclear facilities so we cannot get to them, accelerated missile production, and continue to fund terror. Since the last operation in the summer, they spent billions on the proxies.
The resolutions were clear. The strategy was just as clear. Delay, delay, delay. But we will not be played. And it's simple what they were planning. They were building the means to corner us, to force an irreversible reality with our backs against the wall. That is not a future Israel will accept. No responsible nation should.
This operation is guided by clear objectives. eliminate immediate threats, dismantle the nuclear program, destroy its ballistic missile production, neutralize naval threats, break the proxy network that destabilizes the region.
The operation was carried out in order to protect the people of Israel within the framework of the ongoing armed conflict between Israel and Iran in line with the UN charter and in accordance with international law.
Our forces stand ready to stop extremism armed with nuclear weapons. To the soldiers of the IDF, our boys and girls, my son, my daughter, we salute you. You stand like lions defending our people. An entire nation stands behind you.
We have heard the condemnation from few member states, from the secretary general. But we all know that escalation did not begin today. It began when Iran armed proxies and exported terror, expanded missiles and drones, advanced its nuclear program in violation of its commitments, turned on its own people, beating, imprisoning, executing. Where were the outrage of the UN? Where were the consequences? Now Israel acts to prevent an irreversible threat and the condemnation is immediate. This is the definition of hypocrisy.
Some call this aggression. We call it necessity. We call it survival.
Mr. President, history has taught us never to ignore those who openly call for our destruction. When a regime says it will destroy Israel, when it chantss death to Israel, when it promises to wipe Hifa and Tel Aviv off the map, we believe it. We genuinely believe it. When we see those hundreds of ballistic missiles that are launching to Israel, we believe the threats. We do not ignore them. We do not gamble with our survival. We act.
Now, let me address the brave people of Iran. You are not our enemies. This operation is not directed at you. It is directed at a regime that has silenced you, imprisoned you, and invested in missiles and uranium while your economy suffers. You deserve better. It is this regime, the Basij, the revolutionary guard who have dragged your country into a isolation.
The world does not fear a free Iran. It fears a radical regime harmed with nuclear weapons and driven by extremism. Your future should not be defined by those who chant for death. As President Trump had said, the Iranian people deserve dignity, security, and the chance to shape their own destiny. We are thinking about you. You are seen. You are not alone. The future of Iran belongs to its people. We stand with you.
Mr. President. This week, Jewish families all around the world celebrate Purim. Many Israelis will do so now in a bomb shelter. The story of Purim happened more than 2,500 years ago. In the same place in ancient Persia, an evil minister by the name of Haman sought to wipe out the Jewish people. And it began with words, with chants. It became a decree. It could have become a a genocide. But Queen Esther refused to remain silent. She stepped forward. She spoke up. She acted before it was too late. That is the lesson we learned.
It is not only an ancient lesson. It is a modern one. Last week I stood at the gates of Avitz with dozens of UN ambassadors. We stood in a place that shows what happens when radicalism and extremism grows and no one stops it in time. Before the Holocaust, some leaders, serious leaders believed that they could come aggression with concess concessions. They were completely wrong. Giving in did not stop evil. It strengthened it. Winston Churchill understood what Queen Esther understood long before him. When destruction is declared and weapons are being prepared and assembled, leaders must act, not later. Now, today, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu understand that same lesson.
For decades, the Iranian regime has built missiles enriched uranium, armed proxies, and spread terror far beyond its borders. This regime is not only Israel's enemy. It is an enemy of stability, an enemy of every peaceloving nation. In this joint operation, Israel and the US are acting together. Not because we see conflict..Dianne3000 (talk) 21:25, February 28, 2026 (EST)

Iranian and Iranian-Backed Attacks Against Americans.
Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the clerical regime in Tehran and its proxies have committed a range of attacks against Americans. This memorandum provides select documentation of these assaults. While the list is not comprehensive, it demonstrates that Tehran continues to pose a threat to U.S. forces in the Middle East, the American homeland, and Americans residing across the globe.
November 1979-January 1981: Iranian students — with the backing of Tehran — take 66 Americans hostage at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.
April 1983: A suicide car bombing kills 63 people, including 17 Americans, at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut. The Iran-backed terrorist group Islamic Jihad, a precursor and early branch of Hezbollah (not to be confused with Palestinian Islamic Jihad), claims responsibility.
October 1983: Operatives of the Iran-backed Hezbollah drive a truck bomb at a Marine compound in Beirut, killing 220 U.S. Marines and 21 other service personnel.
December 1983: Hezbollah operatives drive an explosives-filled dump truck through the gates of the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait City. No Americans are harmed.
March 1984: Terrorists kidnap CIA station chief William Buckley in Beirut, subsequently torturing and ultimately killing him in 1985. Islamic Jihad claims responsibility.
December 1984: Hezbollah terrorists hijack Kuwait Airways Flight 221 on its way from Kuwait to Pakistan and divert it to Tehran, killing two American officials from the U.S. Agency for International Development.
June 1985: Hezbollah terrorists hijack TWA Flight 847 en route from Athens to Rome and kill a U.S. Navy diver.
July 1989: Hezbollah operatives kill U.S. Marine Corps Col. William Higgins after kidnapping him the previous year while on a United Nations peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon.
April 1995: An explosives-laden van crashes into a bus near Kfar Darom in the Gaza Strip, killing one American and seven Israelis. Palestinian Islamic Jihad claims responsibility.
August 1995: A Hamas suicide bomber blows up a bus in the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood of Jerusalem, killing an American and three other passengers and wounding more than 100.
February 1996: A Hamas suicide bomber blows up a Jerusalem bus, killing three Americans and wounding three other Americans. A total of 26 people die in the attack.
March 1996: A suicide bomber blows up the Dizengoff shopping center in Tel Aviv, wounding two Americans. Twenty people die and 75 others are injured in the attack. Both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad claim responsibility.
May 1996: Gunmen kill an American-Israeli dual citizen in the community of Beit El in the West Bank. Another U.S. citizen and three Israelis are wounded. No group claims responsibility, but Israel suspects Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
June 1996: A truck carrying 5,000 pounds of explosives blows up the Khobar Towers, a U.S. Air Force housing complex in the Saudi Arabian town of Khobar. Nineteen Americans die and some 500 people are injured. The Iran-backed Hezbollah Al Hijaz, a terrorist group in Saudi Arabia, is deemed responsible.
September 1997: Three Hamas suicide bombers blow themselves up at the Ben Yehuda shopping mall in Jerusalem, killing a U.S.-Israeli dual citizen and wounding seven other American citizens. Four other people die and nearly 200 are wounded in the attack.
August 1998: With the assistance of Hezbollah, al Qaeda suicide bombers almost simultaneously blow up the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, killing 224 people, including 12 Americans, and wounding thousands. According to the 9/11 Commission Report, al Qaeda developed “the tactical expertise for such attacks months earlier, when some of its operatives — top military committee members and several operatives who were involved with the Kenya cell among them — were sent to Hezbollah training camps in Lebanon.”
August 2001: A Hamas suicide bomber blows up the Sbarro pizzeria in Jerusalem, killing a U.S.-Israeli dual citizen and two other Americans. A total of 15 people die in the attack.
September 11, 2001: While the 9/11 Commission Report concludes that Iran had no foreknowledge of al Qaeda’s attacks on the World Trade Center, the report indicates that Tehran facilitated the travel of some of the terrorists. “In sum,” the report notes, “there is strong evidence that Iran facilitated the transit of al Qaeda members into and out of Afghanistan before 9/11, and that some of these were future 9/11 hijackers.”
January 2002: Gunmen affiliated with the Iran-backed al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade kill a U.S.-Israel dual citizen and wound another individual in the West Bank community of Beit Sahur.
July 2002: A bomb planted by a Hamas terrorist kills five Americans at Jerusalem’s Hebrew University, killing five American students, including an American-Israeli dual citizen and an American-French dual citizen. A total of nine people died in the attack.
June 2003: An American citizen, along with 16 other people, died when a Hamas terrorist blew himself up on a bus in Jerusalem.
October 2003: Terrorists from the Iran-backed Popular Resistance Committees kill three U.S. diplomatic personnel in a bombing in Gaza.
2003-2011: Iranian-backed militias kill at least 603 U.S. troops in Iraq, according to the Pentagon. Iranian training and material support for Iraqi militias during the surge greatly increased the difficulty of U.S. forces to combat the insurgency and included some of the deadliest weapons used against American troops, including explosively formed penetrators (EFPs) and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
August 2003: A Hamas suicide bomber blows up a bus in Jerusalem, killing five Americans and wounding one other American. A total of 24 people died in the attack.
August 2006: Hezbollah fighters kill American citizen Michael Levin, a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), during the Second Lebanon War. He is the only American to die in the conflict.
January 2007: Twelve men affiliated with the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) disguised themselves as U.S. soldiers, entered the Provincial Joint Coordination Center in the Iraqi city of Karbala, killed five U.S. soldiers, and wounded another three. In 2019, the U.S. State Department issued a $15 million bounty for information on an IRGC Quds Force commander who planned the attack and other “assassinations of coalition forces in Iraq.”
July 2014: Hamas terrorists kill two Americans serving in the IDF during fighting between the terrorist group and Israel in Gaza as part of Operation Protective Edge.
October 2015: Hamas terrorists kill an American citizen and his wife, residents of the West Bank community of Neria, in their car in a drive-by shooting.
December 2019: Rockets fired by Kataib Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militia, kills an American security contractor and wounds several U.S. service members and Iraqi personnel at the K1 military base in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk.
January 2020: A direct Iranian ballistic missile attack against the Ain al-Asad airbase in Iraq causes more than 100 U.S. troops to suffer traumatic brain injuries.
March 2020: The family of former FBI agent Robert Levinson, who disappeared in Iran in 2007, announces that he likely died in an Iranian prison at an unknown date.
September 2020: U.S. intelligence reports indicate that Iran is weighing a plot to assassinate U.S. Ambassador to South Africa Lana Marks.
February 2021: An rocket fired by an Iran-backed militia at coalition forces in the Iraqi city of Erbil wounds a U.S. service member and four U.S. civilian contractors.
July 2021: Iranian-backed militias conduct at least three rocket and drone attacks against U.S. forces in 24 hours in Iraq and Syria, wounding two U.S. service members.
September 2022: An Iranian rocket attack kills an American citizen in Iraqi Kurdistan.
November 2022: A captain in Iran’s IRGC orchestrates the killing of an American citizen living in Baghdad who worked at an English language institute.
March 2023: An Iranian drone kills an American contractor and wounds five service members and another contractor when it strikes a coalition base near the Syrian city of Hasakah.
October 7, 2023: Hamas kills at least 48 Americans and kidnaps at least 12 Americans in a massacre of 1,200 people in southern Israel.

November 2024: A report released by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies indicates that Iran and its proxies have conducted more than 180 attacks against U.S. forces in the Middle East between October 17, 2023, and November 19, 2024, resulting in more than 180 wounded and three killed U.S. service members.
November 2024: The U.S. Department of Justice announces charges against an Iranian national and two American accomplices for plotting to assassinate President Trump.
March 2025: A U.S. jury convicts two agents of Iran for plotting to assassinate Iranian-American journalist Masih Alinejad in New York in 2022.
June 2025: At least three U.S. bases in Syria and two U.S. bases in Iraq are attacked with missiles or drones, likely by Iranian-backed militias. Telling (talk) 17:04, March 1, 2026 (EST)
- There is no instance of regime change being forced by an air power campaign. Boots on the ground are required. At best, a Libyan-style solution of fragmentation and chaos (or "Balkanization") is being hoped for. It's all dependent on how much damage to infrastructure in Iran can be achieved in the next two weeks before America runs out of munitions (which can't be replenished or "surged" quickly).
- In the meantime, Israel and US bases in the ME will also suffer tremendous infrastructure damage. After that, Iran is projected to have superior missile advantage.
- What's more, European & NATO support for another US war-of-choice is tepid, at best. No hope for "boots on the ground" from them.
- IMO, Iran is now a full-blown military state, run by the IRGC. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 18:43, March 2, 2026 (EST)
- Once again, the US is attacking the regime it (the Carter Administration) installed.
| “ | To be America's enemy is dangerous. To be America's friend is fatal. | ” |
It's probably a mistake to go back 47 years (two years short of the Jubilee) to justify war for several reasons. That's only one side to begin with. Iran has been under economic sanctions for 47 years - a form of warfare aimed at the civilian population. Going back decades lends credence or legitimizes those who cite the USS Liberty, etc.
Affordability crisis
Khameini may be dead, but the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. The Democrat's "Affordability crisis" is on a roll as the world is cut off from Persian Gulf crude oil & LNG. Pump prices and electric bills are set to rise, as the US, Israel, Europe, and NATO lack the resources in manpower and weapons to reopen it.
Alternatively, the collective West could make peace with Russia to restore the balance, but after the needless slaughter of tens of thousands of Russians the Russians may be in no mood to restore "normal" relations with the Russophobic & bigoted West without big time changes in Western policy and outlook toward the East. - It's just that the Islamic Republic launches barrages, so one or two gets away, especially destructive are the cluster bombs[97] with 24 little bombs exploding all over to make sure as many are hurt.
What Iran "wants"? They want to wipe out nations too. They want world domination So?
Iran's main goal: Destroy the world as we know it, impose Shia Islam globally. Iran’s leaders want to destroy the world as we know it. They want to dominate the Middle East, overthrow Western-style democracy, wipe out Israel, and impose Shia Islam on the world (4.24.24). However, if you refer to tactics, these are the three [98]
Dianne3000 (talk) 16:55, March 9, 2026 (EDT)
- "Destroy the world as we know it" is hyperbolic. "Destroy the world order as we know it which excludes them via economic sanctions."
- Actually, those aren't really cluster munitions. They are MIRVs or MARVs equipped on ballistic missiles and basically undefensible. Iran, for the most part, is still sitting on its inventory of ballistic missiles, using its older drones & missiles and saving them for the long war now that the US/Israel' eyes (radar) have been knocked out. (It's the principle of FIFO: First In First Out which virtually all militaries use).
- Ok, there is some confusion about cluster munitions. See Iran Breaks Through Israel's Iron Dome With New Hypersonic Cluster Missiles. Good video of an Iranian missile barrage, which Israel censors. See also Prof. Ted Postol: How Iran Blinded US Defenses in 10 Minutes. Postol, who helped design the Patriot missile during the Gulf War, says SCUD missiles which were breaking up on their own upon reentry due to a design flaw, were trigging the wasteful launch of expensive Patriot missiles. IOWs, MIRVs carrying a cluster munition warhead. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 20:35, March 11, 2026 (EDT)
- Bottomline: the vaunted Iron Dome is crap; the Patriot missile is crap; the THAAD is crap; and America's military alliance system where we steal expensive missile defense systems from Peter (South Korea) to pay Paul (GCC & Israel) is crap. South Korea is really p*ssed cause America's lies and betrayal has been exposed. We don't care if Kim Jong un nukes South Korea, and they are the ones who will pay higher prices for oil and gas.

- Fake news sites? How about the largest English language news site in the world, the Times of India. Bibi being dead doesn't have to be true. All that matters is the impression it creates. Nevertheless the fact remains, Bibi's bunker, with or without Bibi, was attacked with a Kheybar Shekan which is indefensible now that $5 Billion worth of radars have been knocked out. - "Henry Kissinger’s ambivalence about the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s was captured in this famous quote: “It’s a pity both sides can’t lose.” At first glance, the current Iran war might seem to be another case where choosing a favorite is challenging. After all:
- "1) On one side you have Bibi Netanyahu and Donald Trump I recently referred to them on Twitter as “psychopathic monsters,” and the only thing that gave me second thoughts about that tweet was my wife’s contention that, strictly speaking, Trump is a sociopath, not a psychopath. And, my clinical evaluation aside, these two men launched an unprovoked and massively destructive war on Iran that clearly violated the UN Charter (which, by the way, is an actual treaty, a kind of multilateral non-aggression pact, that was ratified by the US Senate—and the US constitution says ratified treaties are the “law of the land.”)
- "2) On the other side you have an authoritarian regime that recently killed thousands of protesters and is said by prominent experts to be the “leading state sponsor of terrorism” and “the most destabilizing force in the Middle East.”
- "But, actually, it should be easy for Americans who care about America’s interests to pick sides in this war, especially if they also care about the future of the Middle East and of the whole world. They should want Iran to win—though maybe I should put “win” in quotes since, as I’ll explain, the kind of “victory” I’m talking about doesn’t entail military conquest or a lot of further killing and in fact involves a lot fewer future deaths than American and Israeli “victory” would entail.
- "In evaluating the consequences of Iranian “victory,” it’s important to understand Iran’s war aims—and to grasp an underappreciated irony about them: Broadly speaking, these aims are shared by most of their current “enemies”—the Gulf Arab states that host US military bases and have been besieged by attacks from Iran since Israel and America attacked it two weeks ago. What’s more (just to get all the big ironies on the table before we resolve them), Iran’s attacks on Arab countries are a big part of the reason that these countries have a kind of sympathy for Iran’s war aims...."
Here's the first flaw in the analysis: the only thing Arab about these "Arab counties" are the non-democratic Arab Princeling elite who rule over them. The population is Arab Shia, Persian Shia, and migrant Shia workers. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 01:46, March 14, 2026 (EDT)

Is JD Vance finished for 2028?
With Tucker Carlson's most recent claims about him (Carlson) being under investigation for colluding with Iran, if they turn out to be true then Donald Trump's unconditional supporters may never trust Vance again.
They may forever see him as compromised because he was recommended to Trump by an individual who (in their eyes) turned out to be a literal traitor to his country.
At this point, should we presume that Trump's designated successor is Marco Rubio, not Vance?

Yet again:
- For years, I served as the Chairman of the Board of a Christian ministry that was one of the most viral underground church movements in Iran.
Iran has been under US sanctions for years. Which means that getting any funds into Iran in any form is severely restricted. If it is not done in strict compliance with the law, board members are liable for federal crimes and can easily end up in federal prison for the rest of their lives. It's very serious stuff. For Tucker Carlson to say he is an American journalist who can do or say anything he wants and talk to anyone he wants with zero repercussions is the epitome of entitled, nonsensical gaslighting. Journalists know there are laws they must all abide by. Everyone has to obey the law, even rich, snotty, entitled men with names like Tucker or Buckley. If he is found to be guilty of crimes against the United States, I truly do hope that proper justice is served.
But on the very issue. Let's see, 1. first how Iran turns out (I hope, no boots on the ground, VS special forces). 2. Communist Cuba, if Rubio is successful there, which current trend seems to be.Telling (talk) 23:33, March 15, 2026 (EDT)

Vance Shuts Down Media Attempt to Divide Trump Team Over Iran War
Donald Trump For President. Mar 17, 2026. Vance Shuts Down Media Attempt to Divide Trump Team Over Iran War. Vice President JD Vance sharply rebuffed a reporter today who tried to exploit his past views on foreign interventions to question his support for President Trump's decisive action against Iran's nuclear program. The exchange came during a press gaggle when the reporter pressed: "Given your past skepticism of foreign adventurism, are you completely on board with the current war in Iran?" Vance didn't hesitate: "I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to drive a wedge between me and the president. What the president said consistently, going back to 2015—and I agreed with him—is that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon." The vice president's response underscores the administration's unified stance: preventing a nuclear-armed Iran remains the core objective, a red line Trump has held firm for over a decade. Vance's quick pivot exposes yet another media effort to manufacture division where none exists, as the team stays focused on protecting American interests and ensuring victory for our troops. Here's from NYP: US government is FAR better off without conspiracy theorist Joe Kent.
It’s not just that he contradicted his own past positions (e.g., saying Trump should’ve attacked Iran’s weapons programs in 2020) in a letter that now says Iran posed no “imminent threat” and insists Trump went to war two weeks ago “due to pressure from Is.. and its powerful American lobby.” It’s that he bizarrely blamed Israel for the Gulf War (which Ariel Sharon quietly advised against) and even for his own wife’s tragic death in Syria at the hands of ISIS in a campaign begun by Israel-hating President Barack Obama (to clean up the mess created by Obama’s own policies).

AP reported inJuly 2022 that Kent: "has connections to right-wing extremists, including a campaign consultant who was a member of the Proud Boys."
At Kent's hearing July 2025: Patty Murray, a Washington Democrat, described him as a “conspiracy theorist who espouses white supremacist views and is patently unqualified for this important role in just about every way imaginable”. But his letter brought it all up. As in: Kent’s ties to the Far Right. 'His political career was defined as much by his extremist associations as his military record. During his 2022 campaign, a political consultant arranged a call that included Nick Fuentes—a white nationalist who participated in the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville; praised Hitler; and even said Jews hold the U.S. “hostage.” Fuentes later claimed in a livestream he told Kent “I love what you’re doing” and his network actively boosted Kent’s social media following.'LaMarina (talk) 11:03, March 18, 2026 (EDT)

This is the crux of the problem. Of course pain is understandable. There is a Talmudic concept (B.B. 16b), based on Job 34:35, that a person may not held responsible for his mistaken speech because he spoke "while he was suffering". (Empathy). That might be when was in immense mourning etc. Though, even when exploding, it can reveal dark demons - which is another concept [Eruvin 65], that a person is exposed in 3 formats, one is when at one's rage. Gulf States being depopulated
Some of the world's richest cities, Doha & Abu Dubai, are artificial cities. These playgrounds of billionaires and the world's 'financial capital' are in the desert with no agriculture or drinking water. All the food must be imported through Hormuz and drinking water comes from desalinization plants. The US & Israel struck desalinization plants on the Iranian side, so Iran retaliates by striking de-salinization plants on the Gulf side. Iran warned civilians to get the H out (they aren't targeting civilians, only US bases and industrial infrastructure). In another war of attrition it could take 47 years to rebuild & repopulate these cities. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 17:23, March 18, 2026 (EDT)

An example of the danger & damage of war propaganda
While Hegseth boasts of Iranian missile attacks being down, you would think we could have learned from the Ukraine war. We are being drawn into a war of attrition, and have failed in our stated objectives of "winning" the war in 4 days.
Another example of bad propaganda: President Trump's boasting of defeating the Shah's 1970s-era Navy of US built ships which have not been maintained or upgraded since economic sanctions began in 1979. Same is true of Trump's boast of destroying the Shah's Air Force of American built F-14s which have been starved of spare parts for 47 years and are largely museum pieces since the F-15, F-16 & F-35 have been introduced.
The IRGC's Navy of small speed boats & explosive unmanned sea drones to police the Strait of Hormuz remains largely in untouchable, underground bunkers, yet to be deployed.
The IRGC never needed or built an Air Force. Rather it built a missile force which it is using 10-year-old missiles to force Israel & America to use up its missile defense interceptors, while saving its latest versions in the war of attrition that has gone well beyond 4 days.
So while Trump boasts of destroying the Shah's 1970s' US-built Navy & Air Force, he's yet to face the Islamic Republic's military force built up over the past 47 years. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 02:48, March 18, 2026 (EDT)

Netanyahu's optimistic speech
Under President Trump's visionary leadership, America and Israel are acting together in Iran with great determination and unprecedented strength. Operation Rising Line is designed to remove the existential threats posed by the Ayatollah regime, the regime that has waged war against America and Israel and the people of Iran for 47 years. It chants death to America, death to Israel, and it delivers death to its own people. Our goals are three. One, removing the nuclear threat. Second, removing the ballistic missile threat and removing both of these threats before they're buried deep underground and become immune from aerial attack. And third, this means creating the conditions for the Iranian people to grasp their freedom, to control their destiny. Today, the Ayattollah regime is not only attacking America, not only attacking Israel, not only attacking the Iranian people, it is attacking, it is attacking the entire Middle East and beyond. They've attacked civilians and Americans and American assets in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Oman, and they've even even attacked through their proxies Cyprus in Europe.
We've warned for decades that their ballistic missile program would be used to attack these targets far and wide. And if they're not stopped, that's just the beginning.
The death cult in Iran is trying to blackmail the world by closing a key international maritime route, the straits of Homuz. It won't work. Israel is helping in its own way and intel and other means the American effort to open the straits of Hormuz.
But I want to ask you to imagine how the Ayatollah regime would be able to blackmail the entire world if they had ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads. Just imagine what they would do. Look at what they're doing now and imagine what they would do if they had ballistic missiles, international range ballistic missiles, and nuclear tipped warheads. Just imagine what a great threat that would be.
So today, Israel and the United States are protecting America, Israel, the entire Middle East. But I venture to say the entire world. Despite the fake news that is unfortunately being spread since the start of the war 20 days ago, we are winning and Iran is being decimated.
Iran's missile and drone arsenal is being massively degraded and will be destroyed. Hundreds of their launchers have been destroyed. Their stockpiles of missiles are being hit hard and so are the industries that produce them. That's important. In Rising Lion, we destroyed missiles and we destroyed a lot of the nuclear infrastructure. But what we're destroying now are the factories that produce the components to make these missiles and to make the nuclear weapons that they're trying to produce. We're wiping out their industrial race in a way that we didn't do before. Iran's air defenses have been rendered useless. Their navy is lying at the bottom of the sea. Today, we hit the other part of their navy in the Caspian Sea. Their air force is nearly destroyed. Iran's command and control structure is in utter chaos. And I can tell you that there's still more work to do, and we're going to do it.
And I want to close these opening remarks with one other fake news. And that is that Israel somehow dragged the US into a conflict with Iran. Does anyone really think that someone can tell President Trump what to do? Come on. President Trump always makes his decisions on what he thinks is good for America. And may I add, I think what is also good for future generations. In this case, those interests are absolutely clear and so is the clarity of our achievements.
Together in close coordination with President Trump, the close coordination between America and Israel, our militaries, our intelligence services, we're achieving goals in lightning speed.
But I want to say another word. It's been said that for 40 years I've been saying that Iran is a danger to Israel and a danger to the world. That is true. You know who else said that? President Trump. 47 years ago when the Iranian thugs took over the American embassy. He said how dangerous this regime is. In his first term in office, he didn't need any convincing. He said the Iranian nuclear deal was the worst deal that he'd ever seen and he walked out of it.
Right before his second term before he was reelected, I went to see him in Mar-a-Lago. The first thing he said to me was, "Bibi, we've got to make sure that Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons." He said that to me. I didn't say it to him. He didn't need any convincing there either. Now, why did he say that? Because for more than four decades, this regime, as I said in the beginning of my remarks, is chanting 'Death to Israel, Death to America.' But they say Israel is only the small Satan[sic] standing in their way. The great Satan[sic] is the United States of America.
And these ideological fanatics, these lunatics define their own destruction.
Their reason for being is wiping out Western civilization and America that leads it. They have claimed the lives. They've maimed and wounded thousands of Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan. They killed the American Marines in Beirut. They bombed your embassies. They tried to assassinate the American president, Donald Trump, not once, but twice.
Now they blackmail for oil.
Just imagine what they would do, what they're capable of doing if these lunatics had nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them to every American city and every European city and everywhere around the globe. This is a danger for the entire world. It's certainly a danger for Israel. It's certainly a danger for America. We see eye to eye on that. President Trump and I, Israel and America. But I think if people are honest, if leaders are honest, they would understand that we're not only fighting their our fight, we're fighting their fight. I speak to dozens of world leaders. Dozens. They all know that. And privately, they all say that. They say that privately, but I say it publicly.
The world owes a debt of deep indebtedness. deep indebtedness to President Trump for leading this effort to safeguard our future.
Thank you. CBS, 03.19.26 [119]LaMarina (talk) 17:57, March 19, 2026 (EDT)

Columnist wrote that Joe Kent—the leaker of state secrets, racist, and antisemite—is out of office after resigning as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center on March 17. Kent claimed in his letter that Iran posed no imminent threat and that the war was on behalf of Israel. Fitzgerald notes Kent’s military background, his wife Shannon’s death by ISIS, and his associations with antisemites Nick Fuentes and neo-Nazi Grayson Arnold. Senator Mitch McConnell condemned the antisemitism in Kent’s letter. Fitzgerald questions Kent blaming Israel for his wife’s ISIS-caused death.

Recent Iranian missile strikes in the on Israel (March 2026) No military targets
-**~March 17, 2026 "Iranian missile fire near holy Jerusalem sites." [127]
- **~March 18–19, 2026 (4 days ago)**: An Iranian missile fired toward southern Israel veered off course and struck a beauty salon (or hair salon in a converted caravan) in Beit Awwa, near Hebron in the West Bank. Four Arab Palestinian women were killed, and several others (reports vary from 6–13) were injured. The missile was described in some reports as cluster-style, with debris or fragments causing the impact after possible interception. This marked one of the first fatal spillover incidents into the West Bank from the Iran-Israel exchanges. [128]
- **March 20, 2026 (Friday)**: During a broader Iranian ballistic missile barrage, one missile was intercepted by Israeli defenses over/near Jerusalem. The warhead (or a major fragment) remained largely intact and crashed into a parking lot in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City. This area is near major holy sites like the Western Wall and the Temple Mount/Al-Aqsa compound (roughly a quarter mile away). Minor damage was reported (e.g., to the parking area), with some light injuries. The proximity raised concerns about potential escalation involving sacred sites. [129] [130] [131]
- **March 21, 2026 (Saturday/"today" relative to March 22)**: Iran launched missiles targeting areas in southern Israel, including direct hitting city of Arad m, area Hasidic Jews, who are Ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) Jews—non-Zionist and do not serve in the IDF. - Bottomline (con'd): President Trump and US information warfare:
- "The American political leadership, including the President himself, repeatedly makes contradictory statements about the U.S. war plans and objectives. It is a mistake to take everything the U.S. President says at face value. Donald Trump is a master of media communication and enjoys speaking with the press. ...Trump’s statements are clearly part of U.S. information warfare. However, Trump is certainly aware that changing his opinions in public undermines his credibility, also with Iran.
- "There is much discussion about the American strategic objectives in the war with Iran. Some claim Trump is changing them every other day. Such statements reflect a deep misunderstanding of information warfare and of how military planning works....
- "President Trump and the American military leaders probably expected the war to last about two to three weeks. They expected the war to end before it significantly impacted the global economy, particularly through the oil price. Furthermore, Trump is undoubtedly aware of the unpopularity of war in the U.S. and did not want to test the patience of his supporters, especially with the midterm elections approaching. Moreover, maybe there were also concerns about the somehow limited air defense missile stocks of the Arab allies...."

Trump hired Joe Kent out of pity "and this is what he does" - he says
Trump Goes Scorched Earth On Joe Kent, Suggesting Leak And Bringing Up Remarriage.
“I said, ‘Call him up, give him a job in the White House,’ and this is what he does.”
[...]
Trump sharply criticized Kent in response to a question from The Daily Wire’s White House correspondent Mary Margaret Olohan, who is flying with him as part of the press pool, and portrayed him as ungrateful after being brought into the administration.
“Look, I’m not a fan of the guy,” Trump said, adding that he felt bad for Kent after his wife’s death and losing two Congressional races. “I said, ‘Call him up, give him a job in the White House,’ and this is what he does.”
A source familiar with the matter told The Daily Wire that federal authorities are probing whether Kent improperly shared classified material. The investigation comes just days after Kent stepped down from his post in protest of the Trump administration’s military campaign against Iran’s Islamic regime.
“I hear they’re looking at him for leaking. That’s possible,” Trump said.
Trump also brought up Kent’s personal life, noting that after his wife’s death, “he remarried fairly quickly.”
In his resignation letter, Kent argued that Iran “posed no imminent threat to our nation” and claimed the conflict was driven by “pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”
“Iran’s been a threat for 47 years, and there’s not a country in the world that doesn’t agree with me on that,” Trump said. “I never knew he had a problem.”
Last week, Vice President JD Vance echoed the administration’s stance, emphasizing that officials are expected to support presidential decisions once they are made.
“Whatever your view is, when the President of the United States makes a decision, it’s your job to make that decision as effective and successful as possible,” Vance said. “If you are on the team and you cannot help implement the decisions of his administration … then it’s a good thing for you to resign.”
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard also raised concerns about Kent’s public comments blaming Israel for the war. When asked by Rep. Elise Stefanik whether the remarks were troubling, Gabbard replied, “Yes.”
In a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing last week, CIA Director John Ratcliffe directly contradicted Kent.
“I think Iran has been a constant threat to the United States for an extended period of time and posed an immediate threat,” he said.
Since leaving the administration, Kent has appeared on podcasts hosted by Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, where he has continued to argue that the war with Iran does not serve American interests and has sought to rally opposition among conservative audiences.
Following his departure, people in Trump’s orbit accused him of leaking, with one calling him a “crazed egomaniac.”
“Joe Kent is a crazed egomaniac who was often at the center of national security leaks, while rarely (never?) producing any actual work,” said Taylor Budowich, the former deputy White House chief of staff. “He spent all of his time working to subvert the chain of command and undermine the President of the United States.”
“This isn’t some principled resignation — he just wanted to make a splash before getting canned. What a loser.”

The Modern Barbary Pirates: The Islamic Fascist Republic of Iran Holds the World Hostage
Iran Charges Some Ships Hormuz Transit Fees for Safe Passage. By Salma El Wardany, Fiona MacDonald, Ben Bartenstein, and Samy Adghirni. Bloomberg News, March 24, 2026. [150]
The Modern Barbary Pirates: The Islamic Fascist Republic of Iran Holds the World Hostage *
| “ | In the early 19th century, the Barbary Pirates—Muslim corsairs from North Africa's Islamic states—terrorized the Mediterranean and Atlantic, seizing ships, enslaving crews, and demanding tribute from nations too weak or unwilling to fight back. European powers and the young United States eventually crushed them with cannon fire and resolve. Today, history repeats in the Persian Gulf, but on a far grander, more menacing scale. The Islamic Republic of Iran—a regime steeped in theocratic fascism, jihadist ideology, and centuries-old supremacist impulses—has revived the pirate's playbook with 21st-century sophistication.
According to recent reporting, Tehran has begun charging select commercial vessels הtransit "fees"' through the Strait of Hormuz, with demands reaching as high as $2 million per voyage. These are not official tariffs or legitimate sovereign dues. They are ad hoc extortion rackets: pay up for "safe passage," or risk harassment, seizure, or worse from Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the regime's maritime muscle. Some ships have already coughed up the cash. Others navigate under the shadow of Iranian threats. This isn't governance; it's piracy dressed in clerical robes. The Strait of Hormuz is no ordinary waterway. It carries roughly 20% of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas. Choke it, tax it, or terrorize it, and you squeeze the global economy by the throat—higher fuel prices, disrupted supply chains, inflation for billions. Iran knows this. For decades, its mullahs and generals have brandished the strait as a weapon: mining it, attacking tankers, proxy-swarming with speedboats, and issuing apocalyptic threats rooted in their apocalyptic Shia eschatology. Now, amid escalating conflict, they formalize the shakedown. Iranian lawmakers openly boast about it, framing the loot as proof of "strength" and a necessary cost of "war." One parliamentarian declared it reflects Tehran's "sovereign regime" over the passage. In reality, it exposes the regime's nature: a parasitic fascist entity that produces little of value but extracts tribute through fear. This is classic Islamic supremacism in action. The regime's ideology—Khomeinist, expansionist, and hostile to "infidel" powers—views the world as divided between the House of Islam (under their twisted rule) and the House of War. Non-Muslims, or even insufficiently submissive Muslims, must submit, pay jizya-like protection money, or face the sword (or speedboat drones and missiles). The Barbary Pirates justified their raids with Quranic calls to jihad and plunder. Iran's IRGC does the same, blending medieval theology with modern ballistic missiles and asymmetric warfare. They don't build; they blockade, they bomb proxies, they enrich themselves on smuggled oil and Western ransoms while their people starve under sanctions and mismanagement. The world has tolerated this for too long. Western capitals dithered with "deals," appeasement, and frozen assets. Gulf states paid quiet danegeld. Shipping firms weighed insurance premiums against the risk of Iranian capture. Meanwhile, the regime funds Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, and other terror tentacles, all while racing toward nuclear breakout. Charging $2 million "tolls" is merely the latest symptom of a deeper sickness: a fascist theocracy that treats international waters as its personal fiefdom and the global energy market as an ATM. Free navigation through Hormuz is not a favor Iran grants; it is a [B]universal right[/B] under international law and basic human commerce. No single regime—especially one that hangs dissidents, stones women, and chants "Death to America"—should dictate terms to the world's lifelines. History shows the remedy for Barbary-style piracy: overwhelming naval power, targeted strikes on enablers, and zero tolerance for tribute. The United States and its partners sank the old pirates. The modern ones in Tehran deserve the same unambiguous message: the age of ransom is over. The Islamic Republic isn't a normal country with legitimate grievances. It is a revolutionary death cult masquerading as a state, holding the world economically hostage while exporting chaos. Until that regime is confronted, contained, or collapses under its own tyrannical weight, the "transit fees" will only grow bolder—and the pirates will keep laughing from their fortified shores. |
