Adam Daniel Kinzinger (born February 27, 1978 in Kankakee, Illinois) is a United States Air Force veteran and former U.S. Representative from Illinois' 11th congressional district, having defeated incumbent Democrat Debbie Halvorson in the 2010 Midterm Elections. He is a "Pelosi Republican" as described by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). Kinzinger is an election fraud denier and known for his anti-Christian bigotry.[2] Kinzinger was booted from office in the 2022 Midterm elections in a gerrymandered district by Illinois Democrats and loss of a grassroots support among Republicans.[3]

Kinzinger was one of CNN's most outspoken Never Trump guests. Kinzinger received a copy of the Steele dossier from Christopher Steele weeks before the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory was made public.[4] In 2021, he also supported "gun control" measures in Congress.[5]

In July 2021, Kinzinger joined the Pelosi Panel to persecute Biden-era political prisoners. Kinzinger is an ardent supporter of J6 insurrectionist Ray Epps.[6] Only 43 years old, he announced in October 2021 that he would not even try to run for reelection.

U.S. House of Representatives

116th United States Congress

In late July 2020, Kinzinger voted to remove Civil War-era statues.[7]

117th United States Congress

Kinzinger was one of only ten Republican representatives to vote in favor of the second Democrat sham impeachment against President Trump,[8] which he later admitted "could very well be terminal to my career."[9] He stated in an interview with the Washington Post in late January 2021 that he felt "very isolated and very lonely" in the Republican Party.[10] He soon launched a super PAC to oppose Trump within the Republican Party.[11]

Kinzinger voted for the partisan hack resolution set forth by Nancy Pelosi to create a January 6th commission and accepted an appointment from Pelosi as a Quisling member of the panel.[12]
