Trump-Putin talks

Quote "Whoever makes the first move to call the other loses." Maybe both sides start at lower level discussions, first.Telling (talk) 23:24, February 3, 2025 (EST)
That apparently is happening with Rubio & Ratcliffe initiating contact. By the time a Trump-Putin call happens, it'll be entirely scripted. (If one or the other goes off script, that can throw a monkey wrench in the gears and create delays). RobSZelensky must go. 10:24, February 4, 2025 (EST)
NYPost: Trumps says he's talked with Putin by phone. Despite rock solid sourcing, it does not say when. A trivial item like this only detracts focus from more important headlines. If true, there will be more contacts between counterparts in the near future, each following an agreed upon script, for now until major disagreements on settlement become transparent. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 00:08, February 9, 2025 (EST)
Peskov: "As the administration in Washington expands its work, there are many different communications. These communications are carried out on different channels. And of course, against the background of the multiplicity of these communications, it is possible that I personally may not be aware of something. So in this case, I can neither confirm nor deny." [1] So the NYPost report by Miranda Devine (very credible source) is unconfirmed. Note: RT is considered a viable source again due the repeal of censorship laws by Executive Order and the USAID scandal. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 11:55, February 9, 2025 (EST)
Are Trump & Putin in Contact?
J.D. Vance will meet with the unelected Ukrainian dictator next week at the Munich Security Conference; let's hope Vance carries the message that Putin wants to deal with a legitimate Ukrainian leader who holds legal power and authority in Ukraine. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 01:21, February 9, 2025 (EST)
  • Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms contacts.
This was likely the first demand the Russian Foreign Ministry made for continued talks - as a gesture of good faith, the US (through USAID) must stop promoting Russophobia to garner support among Americans and the West for the war. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 21:34, February 10, 2025 (EST)
Looks like Hegseth has been appointed the public pointman, for the time being, for statements the Russians demand for talks. Trump himself doesn't want to make these statements. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 20:35, February 13, 2025 (EST)
Note: Kellogg has not been appointed to the meeting of envoys this weekend in Saudi Arabie, replaced by Witkoff. (He may be on his way out the door after 100 days, probably replaced by Witkoff or Grenell, unless he stays on as an enforcement monitor for a "ceasefire" as outlined by Hegseth along the line-of-contact which mirrors Putin's demands and not the Kellogg proposal as articulated by Trump). RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 20:45, February 13, 2025 (EST)
Update: Trump's Ukraine adviser Kellogg's role in resolving the Ukrainian conflict is "in serious question," Politico writes, citing an unnamed White House official: There are already too many key people, plus Witkoff, trying to play hero after the war. Kellogg is trailing behind, adding to the confusion about who is doing what. [2]
Once again, Conservapedia well ahead of the curve (with the exception of User:Conservative still pitching his Joe Biden talking points about Russia & Ukraine). RobSZelensky Must Go! 22:25, March 11, 2025 (EDT)
  • Trump's model for the Ukraine negotiations is his summit with Kim Jung-un in 2018. It's all about focusing the world's attention on himself. The war in Ukraine will continue, presumably until Ukrainian drones take out the rest of Russia's power plants. PeterKa (talk) 21:04, February 13, 2025 (EST)
How, since funding has been cut off? RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 21:09, February 13, 2025 (EST)

Yep. A bunch of USAID-funded propaganda. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 10:51, February 14, 2025 (EST)
Kremlin: Russia wants clarification on Vance's words about leverage. Moscow expects to receive clarification regarding US Vice President J.D. Vance's statement about military levers of pressure on Russia, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. [3]

Conflicting reports: Initially reports said the US, Russia, and Ukraine would be in attendance in Saudi Arabia. Deep State mouthpiece Reuters now says Ukraine not invited. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 11:00, February 16, 2025 (EST)
Update: Zelensky flew to Saudi Arabia. Looks like a party crasher. [4] He may have to wait in the lobby while the big boys discuss business in the banquet room. Putin won't meet with him cause Zelensky holds no authority and is not the legitimately elected president of Ukraine. Zelensky even signed a law barring negotiations with Russia, which he himself has no power to repeal now.
Lessons learned: The next time the CIA installs a puppet stooge somewhere, get somebody with an ounce of brains.
Oh yah, Russian public opinion will not allow Putin to negotiate with Zelensky after the blood and treasure spent, and he can't override the people's wishes.
Update: Ukraine elections scheduled for October 26, 2025 to get somebody who legally can sign a peace treaty. By that time Odessa will be holding a plebiscite to join the Russian Federation, making the Ukrainian rump state landlocked and dependent on Russia for access to imports and exports of its grain to the sea. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 00:22, February 17, 2025 (EST)
AFP reports Zelensky flew to UAE, not Saudi Arabia. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 09:42, February 17, 2025 (EST)
As to reports of ceasefire by Easter, maybe Putin will agree to a 3 day ceasefire so Trump can attend the May 9 Victory Day parade in Red Square as Putin's Guest of Honor beside Lenin's Mausoleum. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 00:38, February 17, 2025 (EST)
Report: US President Donald Trump to be Featured Honored Guest of Corrupt Authoritarian Kleptocrat and War Criminal Vladimir Putin at May 9 Victory Day Celebration Over Nazi Germany & Ukraine.
User:Conservative: Sorry to disappoint you, but your fascist buddies will be dishonored and disgraced again in Red Square in the heart of Moscow. Conservapedia has a lot of User:Conservative's liberal claptrap to clean up between now and then. [5] RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 15:08, February 21, 2025 (EST)
"Trump will come to Moscow to celebrate the end of the war": French Le Point is literally beating hysterically - Putin and Trump in Red Square will celebrate at once the 80th victories over Hitler's fascism and Ukrainian Nazism....
Trump has already called Zelensky a dictator, accusing him of declaring war. Celebrating the victory over the Ukrainians on May 9, anchoring the coincidence of dates, WWII in the narrative of victory over the Ukrainians, would be a way to show the world proof of what he [Putin] put forward : I told you they were fascists !
On May 9, 2025, if the new agreement between the United States and Russia is implemented, if nothing jeopardizes Trump's invitation, the cup of sorrow will be symbolically drunk to the bottom by Europeans who will watch on their screens the parade of Russian troops saluted by the US president" [6]
User:Conservative: Here's your favorite communist, the American traitor Bill Browder who looted Russia in the 1990s and gave up his American citizenship to avoid paying taxes who then returned to America to bribe Barack Obama & John McCain with his ill-gotten gain to pass the Magnitsky Act. [7] RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 15:18, February 21, 2025 (EST)
Zelensky cancels appearance at peace talks he was never invited to. [8]
Riyadh talks were supposed to be held today. They didn't. This likely means an interim military escalation. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 21:33, February 25, 2025 (EST)

Grant Stinchfield/Gatewaypundit article

Stinchfield lists these possible causes:

Mechanical Failure

Air Traffic Control Failure

Human Error

Nefarious Action

Pilot Suicide

Computer Hack

For "Nefarious Action", substitute "Electronic Warfare", and to a certain extent "Computer Hack" cause electronic warfare encompasses those capabilities, as well.

L Todd Wood brings the question of Pilot Suicide back into play. So the question is on the 30 seconds before impact when the transponder was shut off. Was it pilot suicide, electronic warfare, or both? RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 02:06, February 2, 2025 (EST)

The two "big boys" are playing a psychological game: who will call who first? Will Trump call Putin? or will Putin call Trump? [10]

"We are having discussions with Russia"

Trump. We are having discussions, yes, ongoing already scheduled and ongoing, already talking yes"

Question. So you've already spoken with Vladimir Putin?

Trump. I don't want to say that but we are having very serious discussions.

This means Rubio initiated calls with Lavrov & Ratcliffe with Naryshkin (Hegseth & Belousov are probably out of the loop as yet, as is Gerasimov until Trump replaces Biden's DEI JCS chair.) They're doing the groundwork for a Putin-Trump call, which will be 99% scripted and initiated by Trump. Keep your eyes peeled. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 23:44, February 2, 2025 (EST)

Update: Ratcliffe & Naryshkin have restored deconfliction contact; Kellogg removed from talks at the request of Russia as being too pro-Ukrainian (his daughter works from some group in Romania organizing Ukraine aid). RobSZelensky Must Go! 13:18, March 14, 2025 (EDT)

To give some idea of the intensity of the fighting: NATO/Ukraine has lost 58,000 in the Kursk invasion since November 4, 2024 (3 months) - more dead than the United States lost in 10 years of the Vietnam war. I don't see this being reported anywhere. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 22:00, February 10, 2025 (EST)

“Ukraine faces inevitable defeat” — former NATO military committee chairman Harald Kujat
With USAID propaganda being defunded, this is impossible to hide any longer. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 22:03, February 10, 2025 (EST)

Bottomline: It appears Russia's innovative electronic warfare capabilities forced Trump to the peace table. Ratcliffe & Hegseth spoke first. (See Markus Reisner, superintendent of Austria's Theresian Military Academy: Electronic warfare: key technology in the Ukraine war.

Nothing new here. A Kirby vacuum cleaner salesman once told me they taught this in sales training class: After the presentation is made there will be silence between the salesman and prospect. Whoever speaks first loses. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 21:30, February 13, 2025 (EST)

Yes. This evidently corroborates the theory that back channel negotiations were ongoing in Switzerland, possibly since before Trump took office. This would not be possible without Biden regime formal consent, meaning there is a paper trail. Recall, it was Biden's idea to prosecute Gen. Flynn under the 1799 Logan Act for early contact with Russians. RobSZelensky Must Go! 08:27, March 11, 2025 (EDT)
Update: US to send upgraded Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bombs (GLSDB) to counter Russian electronic warfare and is set to reintroduce them to the battlefield in within days - Reuters. RobSZelensky Must Go! 13:23, March 14, 2025 (EDT)
In short, Trump extending the war one year by reauthorizing Obama's Executive Order 13660 is intended to allow the MIC to upgrade defenses and copy Russian electronic warfare. Ukraine remains a weapons testing ground for the West in which another 50,000-100,000 people will be killed. RobSZelensky Must Go! 13:36, March 14, 2025 (EDT)

Potomac airliner-helicopter crash

I apologize for reverting an edit that mentioned "return to base" - sorry if I was hasty, but it looked like an error. --Ed Poor Talk 18:56, February 1, 2025 (EST)

This is looking more and more like another case that we will never know the full story of. What is for sure is, the FAA must come up with a cover story. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 20:55, February 1, 2025 (EST)
Given the choice between informing airline passengers that they are defenseless against Russian electronic warfare and allowing the airline industry to go bankrupt, or demonizing DEI and LGBT for domestic political capital, the deep state and Trump will likely opt for the latter.
Meanwhile the ongoing United States Government program of murdering Russian civilians with missile attacks deep inside Russia is continuing. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 04:19, February 2, 2025 (EST)
What I don't understand is, people will believe the Russians hacked elections or faked the Laptop from Hell, but when a refinery blows up or an airplane crashes - actions the United States is capable of causing in Russia - they call it a "conspiracy theory". RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 04:49, February 2, 2025 (EST)

Mexican drug cartels plan attacks on Border Patrol agents with kamikaze drones and other explosives

This is War! Mexican drug cartels plan attacks on Border Patrol agents with kamikaze drones and other explosives to fight US crackdown. One thing is clear. The crackdown rattles the big guys behind [drug] operations. Dianne3000 (talk) 00:33, February 4, 2025 (EST)

REPORT: USAF RC-135 Surveillance Aircraft Operating Over Mexican Airspace Collecting On Cartels.
Interesting innovation by the Third World drug cartels. The US is taking all its war fighting experience it used to lose in Afghanistan and its proxy war Ukraine and applying it to the southern border. RobSZelensky must go. 10:14, February 4, 2025 (EST)
RC-135 Rivet Joint Surveillance Jet Just Flew Unprecedented Mission Off Mexico.
Okay, one source says "over", another says "off the coast". Trump would have had to get permission from Sheinbaum to fly "over". We're already getting conflicting information. "Off the coast" gives deniability if Sheinbaum becomes the target of assassination. RobSZelensky must go. 17:36, February 4, 2025 (EST)
Socialist Gustavo Petro (of Colombia) announced he suspends US anti cartel ops. in his country. (He is the first lefty leader there in many years). He had a beef about it already last year. Unrelated to Trump. He accused US of "genocide" through the war on drugs.[11] Dianne3000 (talk) 23:00, February 4, 2025 (EST)
He's on his way out, I understand. RobSZelensky must go. 13:59, February 5, 2025 (EST)

USAID & BLM?

Is this true? _

USAID funneled money to BLM. They paid 27 million dollars to the Tides Center. The Tides Center funnels money directly to BLM.[12]Telling (talk) 23:39, February 5, 2025 (EST)

Apparently so. And it's not really news.
User:Conservative's constant, daily trolling over the past 3 years has disrupted research and content I was building on several projects, forcing me to abandon some. Andy has yet to do anything about it.
And I am not going to resume creating content on longterm projects until there is fundamental, constructive change. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 23:43, February 5, 2025 (EST)
I saw excerpts from Juan Williams, who is a lefty, but not on the extreme, he still casts BLM as a supposed freedom movement.

https://pbswisconsin.org/watch/firing-line/juan-williams-eo01fi/ Dianne3000 (talk) 00:25, February 6, 2025 (EST)

BLM will live on in Black history and popular culture as a 21st century update of the civil rights movement - at least until more libs & Blacks leave the plantation (which is already happening). RobSI don’t really care, Margaret
Speaking of BLM, here's an example where liberals' attack on qualified immunity bit them in the butt: FBI loses, turns over data on 5,000 agents who worked J6 as attempt to sue Trump fails. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 19:44, February 6, 2025 (EST)
Let me give an example: Much is made about the activities of Soros' Open Society Foundations, but in fact, much of the money Soros spends is not Soros own money. The Open Society Foundations are recipients of USAID money for specific projects in specific countries, usually aimed at regime change, promoting the homosexual agenda, gay rights, gay marriage, subverting traditional values, etc.
Conservapedia has very good collaborative efforts on Soros, Orban etc. written from a conservative point of view. User:Conservative has thwarted all those efforts using, guess what, USAID-supported and funded think tanks and Mainstream media. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 00:50, February 6, 2025 (EST)

7 days. No response. More evidence of User:Conservative's incessant trolling. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 18:46, February 13, 2025 (EST)
Did or do all the sources at Decline of Russia.blogspot receive USAID funding? The burden of proof is always upon the claimant. And you are not showing that the blog posts at the blog only used USAID sources.
I know you would love if I chose to live a blinkered existence and only read pro-Russia websites, but I will never be a bubble boy who lives in a self-imposed media echo chamber.
Regardless, I am cautiously optimistic that the war in Ukraine will see an armistice or peace deal in 2025. That would be good for Russia, Ukraine, the USA/West and the world at large. The Russia Today website, a Russian state-controlled website, cites a Bloomberg article saying that Trump-Putin may meet as early as this month in Saudi Arabia.[13] Conservative (talk) 20:27, February 15, 2025 (EST)
That does not answer the question, which is extremely rude. Did or do any of the sources at declineofrussia.blogspot receive USAID funding? This isn't a difficult question.
If a person chooses to fill their head with crap, that's their prerogative. GIGO, like most of your Essays. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret
You made the claim that all the sources of the blog posts received USAID funding. You wrote on February 6, 2025 in your post above: "All the sources you repost there get USAID funding." Now roll up your sleeves and do your research in order to try support your claim. Conservative (talk) 20:37, February 15, 2025 (EST)
Uh duh, it's your job to properly qualify your sources, something you have been reminded of, and forewarned of daily for 3 years.
every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Jesus

There's a million dead now. And you got a lot of explaining and apologizing to do for the lies you spread. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 20:52, February 15, 2025 (EST)

You didn't support your claim about the sources of the blog. And if you still want me to read only pro-Russian websites or if you still want to have an iota of influence on the material I read, you can kick rocks because that is never going to happen. I like living in a non-authoritarian country and I will never give up my liberty. Conservative (talk) 21:08, February 15, 2025 (EST)

BBC & AP - the same two sources you quote verbatim in you neocon screed, "Essay:Russian war crimes in Ukraine".
You took the liberal bait and ran with it. While liberals were in this fight for arms sales and personal enrichment, they figured those stupid conservatives would support it cause conservatives are just Russophobic bigots and hatemongers by nature - a sentiment you expressed to me (and I believe Andy, as well) on the phone. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 21:14, February 15, 2025 (EST)
Another unsupported claim. Do you have such a phone recording? At least in my estimation, it sounds like a very gossipy claim. Conservative (talk) 21:28, February 15, 2025 (EST)
You told me on the phone near the start, that "hey, Americans always hated Russians, so why not keep up Hillary Clinton's strategy for the foreseeable future", or words to that effect.
Then you spammed, over and over again, that you convinced Andy Schlafly that because there is a gay bathhouse in Moscow, therefore Russia is not a conservative country.
Honestly, regurgitating your own words and logic feels like engaging in personal attacks. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 21:39, February 15, 2025 (EST)
Setting aside your gossip, I still remain as free as a bird in terms of my reading on political matters and you still have zero influence on the material I read. In the words of Lynyrd Skynyrd, "I am free as a bird now... And this bird you cannot change... And the bird you cannot change. And this bird you cannot change... Won't you fly high, free bird, yeah."
"Give me liberty, or give me death!" - Patrick Henry. 22:03, February 15, 2025 (EST)
I am not interested, at all, in shaping you opinions or what garbage you put in your head. I am informing you that the publisher, not the critic, is responsible for the crap they publish by properly qualifying the source.
You are not interested in what I read and are not obsessed with this matter? I beg to differ and I cite THIS PAGE as evidence. Conservative (talk) 01:12, February 16, 2025 (EST)
You call yourself a "conservative" yet have ignorantly spammed USAID deep state neocon globalist propaganda 24/7 for three years running. And it was your motives for doing so that's revealing. You did it out of spite and maliciousness to harm people. User:LT was blocked for one year for the exact same actions. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 10:46, February 16, 2025 (EST)
You wanna talk about gossip? That's all that Essay about war crimes is - slanderous gossip. And you intended it that way. That problem can easily be fixed by applying some constitutional American values - presumption of innocence - and Move the page to "alleged war crimes". But you won't, because you are a malicious troll.
I hope Andy is listening. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 22:13, February 15, 2025 (EST)

You published this statement: "All the sources you repost there get USAID funding."

And you're responsible for supporting that statement - no matter how many times you wish to dodge this matter. Conservative (talk) 22:20, February 15, 2025 (EST)

Nope. You are responsible for the slander & lies you published. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 22:23, February 15, 2025 (EST)
Why did you create the blogspot account anyway? I'll answer that. Andy got tired of your abuse of Essay space, and told you to take it elesewhere.
User:LT was blocked for 1 year for doing exactly the same thing you have done for 3 years - slandering a nation & people with malicious lies and gossip. And spamming those lies over and over again, even when proven both of you use faulty sources. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 22:22, February 15, 2025 (EST)

Blogspot has certain capabilities that some wikis do not have and vice versa. For example, at blogspot the embedding of videos is easy to do. I have several blogs at blogspot with my most popular blog having about 950,000 page views.

Trump: Holocaust survivors lookalike hostages - why 'Palestinian' Hamas now refuses to release more

I looked at hostages that came in. They're emaciated. It looked like something from the 1930s. It's an absolute disgrace. I think they saw as the world viewed it, and they're looking for a reason not to send more. They're all...you look at it.. it looks like it was a concentration camp, which essentially it was. It looks like it came out of the Holocaust. What a sad thing...

Those people have been badly hurt, both mentally and physically, I'm talking about the young women also that came out previously.

And I think one of the reasons they're probably doing this, they are sending the very best. What you see is probably the best. Because they want to send people that look at least healthy. And that's not healthy...

Sure. Writer:

Throughout the period of the current cease-fire, Hamas has been systematically dismantling its own side’s propaganda. The claim of Israeli “genocide” was always false, but Gaza officials acknowledging that the enclave’s population increased during the war, and that Israeli bombs were mostly dropped on uninhabited neighborhoods, and that Hamas had been using hospitals and humanitarian zones as active war bases made it clear that Israel’s defenders were telling the truth and Hamas’s fans were lying all along.

Then on Saturday Hamas released a propaganda video showing its men keeping Sharabi, Or Levy, and Ohad Ben Ami in a claustrophobic, airless underground cell. We’ve seen Hamasniks driving a fleet of well-maintained vehicles through Gaza and past its gleaming buildings. At the release ceremony itself, the viewing public was treated to watching well-fed Gazans taking selfies while the gaunt hostages could barely stand. We had already known that Israel had allowed into Gaza enough food for each Palestinian to have 3,000 calories per day. But now we were seeing proof that full-bellied Gazans had been spending the war guarding starving Israeli hostages. Every claim made against Israel was projection. Hamas had been doing all the things it accused Israel of, accusations that the media gleefully echoed like pet-shop parrots.

(BTW Glenn Greenwald falls again for Pallywood lies [14])

another writes

The three men had lost half their body weight. They were starved. Hung up by their legs. Chained. One only walked for the first time on the day he was released. He had to learn how to use his feet again. They were strangled, beaten, burned. The hostages were supposed to be the terrorist’s grand plan, their prize assets. Yet they treated them with malice and brutishness. Part of the strategy with the men could have been to weaken and humiliate them deliberately as psychological warfare. To show well-fed gun-wielding Palestinian terrorists in contrast to frail and thin Israelis. All it did was expose the lie of famine and reveal who was actually starving in Gaza.

Hamas is always speaking to many different audiences, often with opposite messaging. To Arab countries a show of strength and intimidation. To the West an exploitation of sympathy. To Gazans a signal of dominance. The releases have been challenging to satisfy all those needs and Hamas finally succeeded in displaying for the West the true psychopathic nature of their organisation. In a way they could not ignore. Though some still are determined to look away and continue the narrative of victimhood. It is becoming more difficult with every abused innocent.

The shock of seeing Jews so skeletal immediately evoked those haunted images of survivors in concentration camps. We just saw the 80th commemoration of the liberation of Auschwitz. A camp that my husband Adam’s great grandparents were murdered in. To pause for one second on the thought of his cousin Tsachi being subjected to the tortures that the released hostages endured is to walk on emotional shards of glass. My jaw clamps and my body starts to shake. I have cried enough tears of sorrow and fury. There is only white, red and black rage now.

For those monsters in green.

They could have had their Palestinian state. They chose to turn it into hell and put whatever innocent people are left there (like the ones in the photo below. “Innocent” Gazans) in harm’s way. They abused what we gave them and now they will pay the price.

Israel: Hamas a ‘death cult that murders, tortures, parades dead bodies’. The Palestinian terrorist organization "has no place amongst civilized nations. It has no place in Gaza," government spokesman David Mencer said.

(Feb. 20, 2025 / JNS) An Israeli government spokesman slammed Hamas as a “death cult” after it paraded the coffins containing the remains of four civilian hostages, including those of a baby and a child, during a propaganda stage show in Khan Yunis, the southern Gaza Strip, on Thursday morning.

“Hamas is not a resistance movement. Hamas is a death cult that murders, that tortures and parades dead bodies,” government spokesman David Mencer told journalists during a press briefing.

The Palestinian terrorist organization “has no place amongst civilized nations. It has no place in Gaza,” he said.

One of the bodies has been identified as belonging to hostage Oded Lifshitz, his family confirmed on Thursday afternoon after identification at the National Center of Forensic Medicine at Abu Kabir in Tel Aviv.

The other remains handed over by the Palestinian terror organization were said to be those of Shiri Bibas (32 when captured on Oct. 7, 2023) and her sons, Ariel (4 when taken) and Kfir (9 months old when taken).

The four bodies were transferred to representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross after the propaganda ceremony attended by members of Hamas’s “military wing,” Gaza civilians and terrorists released under the auspices of previous prisoner swaps. https://www.jns.org/israel-hamas-a-death-cult-that-murders-tortures-parades-dead-bodies/

Germany - understanding the difference between the American and parliamentary systems

Let's take this opportunity to understand the difference between the American and parliamentary systems.

It is the Electoral College, the constitutional requirement of a 51% majority to elect a head of government, that has turned the United States into a "two party system". Parliamentary systems often have 3 or 5, or even more "major parties", with rarely any of them having 51% majority. Hence they often have to forge "coalition" governments, with the leader of the party with a plurality becoming prime minister and offering important cabinet posts to their junior coalition partners.

For example in Germany, the alleged "conservative" Christian Democratic Union ruled for 16 years under Merkel until it was voted out a few years ago in favor of the Socialist, Green, and Free Democrat coalition. It was just voted back in with 29%, but refuses to form a coalition with the "far right" AfD. So it goes from being "opposition" to the Social Democrats to being a coalition partner now along with the "far left" Green Party.

IOWs, despite gains by the conservative AfD - which individually is larger than the Socialists or Greens, the leftwing Socialists & Greens remain in the governing coalition along with the so-called "conservative" Christian Democrats. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 17:51, February 23, 2025 (EST)

In short, despite 50%+ of Germans voting "right wing" or "conservative", the conservatives did not "win", and the extreme leftist Socialists & Greens remain in power. The same thing happened in Sweden a few years ago, and will continue to happen throughout Europe to all "anti-immigrant" "rightwing" parties. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 18:20, February 23, 2025 (EST)

Read this article. It could not be more wrong.

Looks like the conservative party in Germany has won the very big and highly anticipated election. Much like the USA, the people of Germany got tired of the no common sense agenda, especially on energy and immigration, that has prevailed for so many years.

"The man poised to be the next chancellor of Germany is Friedrich Merz, of the conservative Christian Democratic Union."

If any of that were true, there would be no AfD. It was the Christian Democratic Union that opened the floodgates on immigration, was voted out for it, and the Socialists and Greens just lost their status as leaders of the coalition for not stopping it. Merz has already vowed not to allow the conservative populist, reformist, and "anti-immigrant" AfD - most of which came from the CDU - into the government.

Personally, I think many of these labels are ridiculous, if not downright deceptive. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 18:52, February 23, 2025 (EST)

Vladimir Putin (Feb 24, 2025):
By the way, we would also be ready to offer [cooperation] to our American partners – when I say partners, I mean not only administrative and government structures, but also companies – if they showed interest in working together.

We certainly have an order of magnitude – I want to emphasize this – an order of magnitude more resources of this kind than in Ukraine. Russia is one of the undisputed leaders in terms of reserves of these rare and rare-earth metals....What is most important, in my opinion, is that we could think together with American companies about working together in this area. For example, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, back in Soviet times, there were plans to build a new hydroelectric power station and create additional aluminum production facilities. After all, aluminum is, first of all, energy, and preferably cheap energy. Hydroelectric power is cheap, and among other things, it is also environmentally friendly.

That is why, I repeat, there are such plans since the Soviet era, but these are capital-intensive, investment-intensive projects: according to preliminary estimates, it cost or will cost about $15 billion at today's prices. We can think about it.

Yes, the policy of the current President today is to place production on the territory of the United States. But if American companies work for us, this is also a benefit, and a considerable one, because both companies will earn decent money, and the corresponding volumes of aluminum will be supplied to the domestic market at absolutely acceptable market prices. There is much to think about here, as well as joint work on rare and rare-earth metals, and in other areas, including, for example, energy. [39]

You see this in their prisoner interrogation interviews. The first question is usually, "Why did you come here with a gun?" If you are a foreign mercenary not protected by the Geneva Convention or a Ukrainian Nazi, the interrogation usually ends abruptly with a bullet in the head. Americans thinking about travelling to Kursk or the Donbas really ought to think about this before swallowing wholesale USAID-funded propaganda. I mean, what do they think they're going to accomplish? Only a person totally brainwashed by Bidenism or who is mentally unbalanced and suicidal would do this. It also reveals the tremendous evil of propagandists who encourage such activity.
This also gives some idea about the level of casualties. Even though foreign mercenaries & Nazi invaders may be eliminated on the spot, the POW exchange ratio of captured survivors is typically about 15 to 1 in Russia's favor. RobSI don’t really care, Margaret 21:27, February 26, 2025 (EST)

Putin we know to be an election denier, who agrees (1) the 2020 election was stolen, and (2) the war never would have started if Trump were President. "Partners"

"Partners" is a word we've heard now several times in public forums from Vladimir Putin in reference to the United States and the Trump administration in the past week. This gives credence to the theories propounded by Stephen Bryen:

We have not heard the word "partners" in reference to the US or Europe from Putin or Lavrov since Feb 2022, replaced with terms like "unfriendly". "Partner" has been reserved for Belarus and others. We've yet to hear "partner" being used for European powers, Germany, France, UK. etc. of late.

The term generally means "negotiating partner", where the parties have agreed on certain ground rules and objectives.

Bryen alleges that there is a behind-the-scenes back channel that is far ahead of what is publicly known and reported. The fact that Keith Kellogg, Waltz and Rubio appear cut out, and Middle East envoy Witkoff has appeared in the Kremlin is more evidence of Bryen's theory.

Ukraine and the Zelensky regime have been cut off by the Trump administration. The only question I can determine unresolved is, does this mean the port city of Odessa is also included in Russia's territorial demands, and a Ukrainian rump state will be landlocked? (There is an internal debate in Russia about not being overextended beyond what they can control and defend, such as what happened in 1989 with East Germany & the Warsaw Pact, etc.)

Trump's extension of Executive Order 13660 for another year means that the war will continue for another year, only without US assistance, and it remains to be seen what the "unfriendly" European powers can bring to the table to continue more suffering and death. Alternatively, the US encouraging Europe to beef up its defense spending and take responsibility for itself is in line with Trump (and even Putin's) desire for a dissolution, or withdrawal, of the United States from NATO. RobSZelensky Must Go! 12:26, March 1, 2025 (EST)

Above: " Rubio appear cut out, and Middle East envoy Witkoff has appeared in the Kremlin" - In Saudi Arabia peace talks with the Zelensky regime, Witkoff appears to outrank Rubio as head of the delegation. Why? Cause Witkoff is a direct representative of the White House and President Trump, whereas Rubio represents the State Department. RobSZelensky Must Go! 07:48, March 11, 2025 (EDT)
Update: Sources say Bryen is correct - back channel negotiations have been ongoing "for months" apparently at a Swiss hotel (since December?). Oops, sorry. I misidentified Witkoff. It was Walz not Witkoff who headed the delegation. As a representative of the White House, Walz outranks Rubio. This answers an important question: you have to go back as far as George Shultz and the Reagan administration to find a Secretary of State in a policy making position who was not just an errand boy.
The Kiev regime delegation consisted of Yermak, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Zelensky [Yermak] Deputy Chief of Staff Pavlo Palisa. Zelensky, despite occupying a room across from the meeting, was not involved in the talks. [45] RobSZelensky Must Go! 18:41, March 11, 2025 (EDT)

Meetings between heads of state

Meetings between heads of state are carefully crafted and carefully scripted. One off-script word by either party can throw the meeting into chaos (as just witnessed). At the Riyadh meeting last week, the US side was reported to have asked for a summit with Putin, and the Russian response was reported to be more time is needed for preparation.

In 1972 the Moscow Summit between Nixon & Brezhnev that ushered in the age of detente was nearly derailed at the last minute because of an off-the-cuff comment made by Brezhnev. As Nixon arrived in Moscow, a light mist was falling. As Nixon stepped off the plane Brezhnev greeted him with, "This is a mushroom rain". When the off-script comment was translated, it was interpreted as a threat. What did Brezhnev mean by that? a mushroom cloud? nuclear war? nuclear winter? etc. The translators had to sort things out and play diplomat for a few minutes.

In Russia, like baseball in the United States, mushroom hunting in the woods in the national pastime. It's a big weekend family event for city dwellers, complete with instruction guides, where and when to hunt for what type of mushrooms, etc. The translators had only minutes to explain this cultural phenomenon and idiom to American State Department and White House officials, and that nothing was implied by the off-hand remark, and hope it would be received well in good faith by the American side.

But of course, when you have an undisciplined cocaine addict and popular culture figure like Volodymyr Zelensky representing your interests, it's a disaster waiting to happen. RobSZelensky Must Go! 13:19, March 1, 2025 (EST)

Zelensky, and he is not alone in this, keeps misusing and misunderstanding the Reagan era slogan of "Peace through Strength". He repeated it again in the Oval Office on Friday. In this telling, "Peace Through Strength" is akin to "Might Makes Right". IOWs, the misuse of the phrase implies wartime spending to achieve a future peace. That is not, at all, the meaning from the Reagan era in the 1980s.
The objection of many Democrats & liberals was that Reagan's defense modernization and buildup in peacetime was unnecessary and the money could be used for social and welfare spending. "Peace Through Strength" meant "maintain peace through strength", not "achieve peace in the future by wartime military spending now". RobSZelensky Must Go! 21:21, March 2, 2025 (EST)

Peace-nick exposes 'no other land' lying propaganda/ reminds ethnic cleansing of Christians by "palestinians"

  • On the pallywoody film 'no other land' winning Oscar in Woke hollywood.
  • Privileged Arab producer Basel Adra

Eitan Fischberger @EFischberger: 🚨 "No Other Land" Exposed by Pro-Palestinian Activist 🚨

Below is the text of a Facebook post published by Erez Ganor—an Israeli who claims to have worked for years to help Palestinians—about the Oscar-winning documentary "No Other Land."

Erez deleted this post after experiencing significant backlash from other pro-Palestinian activists. It's very long, so here are the most notable parts, in my opinion:

🔸 "I just want to say that the film in question is a staged production made at the expense of the very residents whose outcry it claims to represent."

🔸 "This is an opportunistic family [referring to co-writer & co-director Basel Adra] that has made a name for itself at the expense of the residents of the village of Al-Tuwani."

🔸 "The family stages supposedly violent incidents involving settlers, yet at the same time has no qualms about working in Israel or even with settlers."

🔸 "This is a family that spends plenty of time in Europe, funded by European grants aimed at supporting the rural population of the South Hebron Hills, driving luxury vehicles in stark contrast to the rest of the region’s residents."

🔸 "Hedonists and opportunists like these are very familiar to us, and they exist within Palestinian society as well—people who know how to exploit certain situations for their own personal benefit."

🔸 "I’ve encountered this family staging incidents on multiple occasions while I was volunteering, transporting sick children and carrying out rehabilitation work among the rural population in the Hebron area."

🔸 "Upon thorough investigation, it turned out they were receiving donations and selling them."

🔸 "The biased film produced by the Adra family, supposedly crying out the voice of the dispossessed, is actually a mockery of the poor."

🔸 "Anyone who genuinely cares about the well-being of the Arab population should seek the truth and not rely on dubious sources of information. And to those who aren't interested in the truth—so be it." Mar 6, 2025. [47]

Eitan Fischberger @EFischberger: 2/2

To this day, the disappearance of the last Christian village in the Hebron area remains a mystery, as does the suppression of information about the massacre in Hebron—not the famous one during the 1929 riots (Tarpat). Most of you are probably unaware that a massacre also took place in Hebron in 1922. The 1921 riots may have subsided, but in the West Bank they continued against Christian minorities.

Hebron once had a small Christian community of about 40 households, according to the British Mandate census. It was made up mostly of Greek Orthodox Christians, with a minority of Catholics and Russian Orthodox. The community hosted Christian pilgrims who would visit the Tomb of the Patriarchs.

In the early 20th century, the Russian Church even established another guest complex near the city, known as "The Moscovia," which still exists today. In 1922, an inflamed Muslim mob rose up and massacred the Christian community. A few children survived the massacre and were taken to orphanages in Jerusalem by the Mandate police. This was ethnic cleansing, Palestinian Arab style.

The biased film produced by the Adra family, supposedly crying out the voice of the dispossessed, is actually a mockery of the poor. Perhaps the residents of Masafer Yatta would be living peacefully were it not for all the provocations of this wandering family, which runs social media pages, funds, connections, and more.

Anyone who genuinely cares about the well-being of the Arab population should seek the truth and not rely on dubious sources of information. And to those who aren't interested in the truth—so be it." Mar 6, 2025 [48]Dianne3000 (talk) 03:00, March 7, 2025 (EST)

So the 1922 massacre occurred at the same time as the Armenian massacre. In a sense, we could say the Armenian massacre is misnomer, cause it didn't target just Armenians but rather non-Muslims. RobSZelensky Must Go! 10:36, March 7, 2025 (EST)

Tariffs

I have to say that when I voted for Trump, I had no idea that I was voting for across-the-board tariffs. What happened to the Keystone pipeline? This was a pipeline to bring in oil from Canada that Trump approved in his first term. Trump negotiated the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) free trade agreement in July 2020. Since returning to office, he has torn up that agreement without explanation. Biden raised tariffs more than Trump did in his first term. Yeah, Trump talked a lot about tariffs. They have always been an issue close to his heart. But I assumed he meant tariffs against China. Stocks are down by four percent since the start of the tariff whirlwind. The Trump's tariff "pause" has yet to lead to any recovery.

It's not about money, but our national soul, as Trump put it in the State of the Union. If it's about our soul, how are we supposed to think about the trade agreements that Trump negotiated in his first term? PeterKa (talk) 03:49, March 8, 2025 (EST)

Nearly 108,000 persons in the U.S. died from drug-involved overdose in 2022 and fentanyl is a big and growing problem in Canada that could be mitigated. But the liberal Trudeau and some of the liberal Canadian politicians have bad public policy. Maybe Trump is using the tariff thumbscrew to get concessions related to Canadian fentanyl. But maybe he just wants to bring factories back to the USA. Maybe he just doesn't like Trudeau and he enjoys tormenting him. Maybe it is all these reasons or a combination of some of them. With that being said, dissing Canada and calling it the 51st state hurts U.S. product/service sales to Canada. One last thing related to Canada is that they spend very little on defense and free ride off the USA so Trump may resent that.
The USA does have a trade deficit and the USA has tolerated unfair trade practices in the past due to wanting to get alliances back in the Cold War days. But the Soviet Union is long gone.
Maybe reciprocal tariffs involves some short-term pain to get long-term benefits. The Chinese have a very low birthrate so the USA has to make a transition over time as far as not counting on the Chinese to manufacture things. Next, there is a danger of Trump using a tariff sledgehammer against China and there not being enough manufacturing capacity to replace them should their economy be badly damaged. China already has big economic problems so taking more pieces out of their Jenga economy could have some unintended consequences that are deleterious to the USA. Conservative (talk) 09:58, March 8, 2025 (EST)
Conservative, That is Trump's argument, about the long-term.Dianne3000 (talk) 14:24, March 8, 2025 (EST)
Dianne3000, I just did the math. There is a trade deficit of $984 billion per annum for the USA. There are about 325 million Americans. So that is about $2,000 a year per American as far as the trade deficit. The USA has 4 times the labor productivity of China overall. A study by the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) found that manufacturing workers earn 13% more in hourly compensation than comparable workers in the rest of the private sector.[50] And then there is the labor rates of the various countries and the different specializations.
It's a complex issue. But at the end of the day, the USA should improve its educational system so people are better prepared. Also, there is a big housing shortage and there appears to be a shortage of tradesmen, but how much of the housing shortage will be fixed via deportations and the baby boomers dying off, I don't know. That is, PPP is the exchange rate at which one nation's currency would be converted into another to purchase the same and same amounts of a large group of products. According to this concept, two currencies are in equilibrium—their currencies are at par—when a basket of goods is priced the same in both countries, taking into account the exchange rates."[53] Conservative (talk) 19:37, March 8, 2025 (EST)
Well, duh. It's still measured in dollars. Which the United States can put its thumb on the scale by inflating the world's reserve currency. "More inflation. It's a great asset. What a stupid SOB". RobSZelensky Must Go!
Deeper dive: Inflating the global reserve currency is called "weaponizing the dollar". Let's take User:Conservative's "basket of goods" approach and understand what it really means vis-a-vis the rest of the world's trade with the United States.
Examples: China exports manufactured goods to the US, or Venezuelan oil imports. This "basket of goods" consists of consumer products in exchange for paper IOUs (dollars). "More inflation. It's a great asset. What a stupid SOB". IOWs, the US plunders the world's goods and resources with worthless paper. RobSZelensky Must Go! 20:19, March 8, 2025 (EST)
And the major export commodity the US has is overpriced weapons which have proven to be a failure in combat. RobSZelensky Must Go! 20:23, March 8, 2025 (EST)

not to open another unending stupid argument...

but "the USA has 4 times the labor productivity of China overall". These number are meaningless.

The United States, through deficit spending, controls the printing press by which these "dollar" figures are calculated. China (and the EU, Russia, and the Global South) does not.

If you look at our MAGAnomics article, the trade deficit was $875 billion in Trump's First Term. What accounts for $100 billion added in Biden's four years? Productivity gains? No. Inflation. Which is why Trump & Musk created DOGE.

User:Conservative's ceaseless repetition of skewed numbers is pro-inflation rhetoric. RobSZelensky Must Go! 19:09, March 8, 2025 (EST)

P.S.S. "In 2023, the USA was over 400% more productive in terms of labor productivity than China"; "more inflation. It's a great asset. What a stupid SOB".

In a sense it's kinda funny, if not ridiculous. Trump talks about 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers encircled in the Kursk pocket, but not a word about the 68,000 killed there on Zelensky's and NATO planners' command since last August. It's really a testament of the utter ignorance of Western MSM and news consumers.
In observing Trump, IMO one can say he individually is capable of pulling off his own psyops. It's hard for me to believe that he is oblivious of the 68,000 whose lives have been squandered in Kursk in the run-up to the election and Western efforts to "Trump-proof" the war before he took office so that Trump would be blamed, not Biden, for the defeat. Before this war began, the almost-universal belief was that US/NATO weaponry and equipment were far and away superior to anything the Russians could put on the battlefield.

That unfounded faith in the unrivaled supremacy of western arms has now been shattered — although we already see the think-tank apologists fashioning their strained rationalizations.

Nevertheless, when one examines in aggregate the implements of war the US/NATO have provided to Ukraine, the overwhelming majority consists of the very stuff every military in NATO would field in a war against Russia, or anyone else, for that matter.

Here is a sobering truth: if the Armed Forces of Ukraine could make one wish, it would be to respawn as the army and abundant quantities of effective and durable Soviet equipment they had in February 2022. That was, all things considered, the strongest army they would ever have. And it was, in great measure, squandered on the altar of a misguided commitment to NATO field doctrines that repeatedly proved misconceived and ill-adaptive to the war that actually ensued, as well as the war as it has subsequently evolved.
