Mike Castle Blames Limbaugh and Hannity for Loss! What? No blame for George W. Bush or Sarah Palin? The American people have always disliked sore losers, and the RINO Castle is certainly one of the worst. In an interview with FOX, Castle called out Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity by name for what he described as "misrepresentations" and "erroneous" statements about his voting record. Castle said that helped spell his political doom. He called tea party backers "agitators" and asserted that there "is disruption in the Republican party." Godspeed, Congressman Castle, Godspeed! [1]

Those 34 Democrats who had the guts to oppose Obamacare are in a position now to seek renomination, despite the threats for revenge directed against them by liberal thugs, angry progressives, and their union allies:[4]

The new conservative march is on. "We already know President Obama doesn't listen to the American people and his Democratic drones have followed him over the cliff. But what about the Republican establishment? Obviously they are in need of hearing aids as well. Conservatism is taking hold of the party and kicking out those, without the support of the Party leadership, who don't hold their views."[5]

More Democrats Fleeing A Weakened Obama-- Opposing His Tax Plan. Democrats joined Republicans on Wednesday in calling for the preservation of tax breaks for Americans of every income level, bolting from President Obama's plan to preserve cuts only for those who earn less than $200,000 and let taxes for the wealthy rise. Some people laughed when we originally talked about the coming Obamageddon....they aren't laughing anymore. [6]

Palin-backed Kelly Ayotte declared winner in New Hampshire GOP Senate primary. [8]

The effects of liberal "tolerance" in our schools again. Parents made a complaint that the cheerleader's chant was too risque, but instead of altering it a bit as the parents wanted, the powers that be boot their six year-old daughter from the squad: [9]

If Benjamin Franklin rose to invoke the Almighty as the Constitution itself was being drafted, if the Congress of the United States opens each day with prayer, then isn’t it time we let God back into the classroom? --- Ronald Reagan, Thursday, July 28, 1988

True colors: RINO, Pro-abortion Mike Castle reportedly refuses to endorse the person who defeated him in the Republican primary, Christine O'Donnell. [10]
Looks like the "big tent" is meant only for the benefit of RINOs themselves!

Despicable Harry Reid Reid Targets Defense Bill For Illegal Alien Amnesty Program. The liberal U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday he wants to attach an amendment to a defense policy bill that would help young people in the United States illegally become legal U.S. residents. Democrats have also promised Gay Rights groups an end to the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy that bars gays from serving openly in the military. That is in the bill that Reid said he will try to take up next week. [11]

Newt Gingrich: “I think you’re going to see Speaker John Boehner and I think you’re going to see retired former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. I think there’s a very good chance that you’re going to see Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and you’re going to see a defeated Harry Reid.” “Let me just say in defense of Sharron Angle, no matter what the left does to smear her, the 14 and a half percent unemployment in Nevada is Harry Reid’s fault. She didn’t kill a single job – he did.” Video

Democrat-nominee for California Governor Jerry Brown makes a public gaffe, mocking Bill Clinton. In true liberal style, Clinton endorses Brown despite the controversial Monica Lewinski joke just a day earlier. [14]

LifeNews.com: Family of Slain Pro-Life Protester Jim Pouillon Remembers Him One Year Later. Jim was murdered for showing the images of unborn children killed in abortions to high school students. His family would say, “And so many more people heard about his story and his activism and his cause because of his death. And he would have loved that.” [15]

Pro-life, Tea Party Express candidate Christine O'Donnell tries to score the biggest upset of all against the entrenched pro-abortion, pro-cap and trade, pro-homosexual agenda RINO Mike Castle in today's primary in Delaware.
Will the Tea Party Express extend its record of upsets to 4-for-4?

God Bless Arizona! [18]

Pennsylvania Town Stares Down Obama Administration Over Immigration. Hazleton is threatening a Supreme Court showdown after a panel of judges throws out its restrictions against hiring and renting to illegal immigrants, a decision supporters say gives Washington a free pass to ignore its enforcement responsibilities. [19]

Piven: Violence Is Okay if It‘s a ’Big Part of Your Strategy’. Frances Fox Piven, the living half of the infamous Cloward and Piven Strategy radical duo, said in a video that she has 'respect' for non-violence. But how does she feel about violence? She's against it - unless of course it's a big part of your strategy as a protester. [20]

Pew Study: Americans Spending More Time Following the News; Internet Platforms Gain Significantly

MSMsign WND.jpg
  • Americans are increasingly integrating new technologies into their news consumption habits. More than a third (36%) of Americans say they got news from both digital and traditional sources yesterday, just shy of the number who relied solely on traditional sources (39%). Only 9% of Americans got news through the internet and mobile technology without also using traditional sources.
  • Overall, cable news continues to play a significant role in peoples’ news habits – 39% say they regularly get news from a cable channel. But the proportions saying they regularly watch CNN, MSNBC and CNBC have slipped substantially from two years ago, during the presidential election.
  • Only Fox News has maintained its audience size, and this is because of the increasing number of Republicans who regularly get news there. Four-in-ten Republicans (40%) now say they regularly watch Fox News, up from 36% two years ago and just 18% a decade ago. Just 12% of Republicans regularly watch CNN, and just 6% regularly watch MSNBC.
  • Ideology continues to be closely associated with people’s choice of certain news sources. Eight-in-ten Americans (80%) who regularly listen to Rush Limbaugh or watch Sean Hannity are conservative – roughly twice the national average of 36%. And at the other end of the spectrum, the New York Times, Keith Olbermann, the Daily Show, the Colbert Report and Rachel Maddow have regular audiences that include nearly twice the proportion of liberals than in the public as a whole. [21]

The "tolerant" liberal left; when they don't get their way in Europe, they try terrorism: [22]

Their stimulus at work, and your money paying for it...to the tune of $800,000 to teach this:[23] Talk about extreme liberal stupidity!

The liberals in Washington have the power; they can spend all they want...yet poverty has shot up to records levels under Obama.[24] We know...they can solve it, they have the solutions; they just need more time, more money, etc etc...

Imam: Mosque Site Not "Hallowed Ground" --- Imam's Associate Calls 9/11 an "Inside Job". A founding member of an organization run by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the driving force behind the planned Mosque near Ground Zero, claims that the 9/11 attacks were an "inside job" and that Muslims have been made scapegoats. Does Barack Obama believe that too? [25]

Barack "overpromise and under deliver" Obama is beginning to change his tune on health care already in terms of what he promises ObamaCare will actually deliver. [26] Stay tuned for revisions to his various other promises. It appears as if the only "hope and change" Obama is delivering is changes to what his promises will actually deliver which is not a very hopeful message!

States Go to Court In Florida Hoping to Strike Down Obamacare. Twenty states prepare to take on Barack Obama in legal fight over whether the new health care law is constitutional, as the Federal Government spends your tax money seeking to have lawsuit nixed! [27]

Gangster Government Stifles Criticism of Obamacare. ""There will be zero tolerance for this type of misinformation and unjustified rate increases." said Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to Karen Ignagni, president of America's Health Insurance Plans, in a threatening letter. Sebelius promises to issue regulations to require "state or federal review of all potentially unreasonable rate increases" (which would presumably mean all rate increases). And there's a threat -- '"We will also keep track of insurers with a record of unjustified rate increases: those plans may be excluded from health insurance Exchanges in 2014." [28]

"As Obama's popularity drops, so do sales of his merchandise." [29]

How Obama Thinks. What's driving his hostility to private enterprise? [30]

Congress Returns to D.C. With Big Agenda, Low Expectations. Lawmakers get back to work this week with embattled Democrats torn between trying to show they have the answers to an ailing economy and fearing the further wrath of voters over more government spending. There is nothing they can do now to stop Obamageddon...their chances are all used up. [31]

Tea Party Shocker: The conservative, pro-life O'Donnell takes a 3-point lead over the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual agenda Castle in the Delaware Republican primary according to the mainstream Public Policy Polling! [32]

Will Delaware become the RINOs' Waterloo on Tuesday? "'Tea party' candidate in Delaware rattles the Republican Party." The pro-abortion, pro-homosexual agenda Mike Castle could be upset by the conservative Christine O'Donnell. [33]

"Coast to coast, tea partiers promote their cause" with rallies throughout America on Sunday, 9/12. [34]

Obamanomics: U.S. Poverty on Track To Post Record Gain. The number of people in the U.S. who are in poverty is set to increase on Barack Obama's watch, with the ranks of working-age poor approaching the 1960s levels that led LBJ to declare the national "War on Poverty". [35]

Bad medicine? Have another drink.
Even Obama economic advisers oppose the President's insistence on another stimulus to pursue a radical agenda. [37]

Fox News is beginning to face more competition via an American conservative media company called the RIGHTNETWORK.[38] RIGHTNETWORK content will be available through television, the internet and mobile phone.[39] Perhaps, this will eventually force Fox News to become more conservative on the social issue of homosexuality.[40] Please see: Fox News and homosexuality

71% Say Another 9/11 is Likely To Happen In Next 10 Years. The number of adults who feel another terrorist attack is possible is up five points from last year when 66% of Americans felt that way. [41]

Tea Party update: "Christine O'Donnell has picked up key endorsements from the National Rifle Association and conservative Republican Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina in Delaware's Republican U.S. Senate primary." [43] The RINO Mike Castle could be the upset loser on Tuesday.

Economic Uncertainty Aggravated by Liberals Missing 2011 Budget. With Congress not returning to session until Monday, only 17 days remain before the new budget year starts -- too short a window to pass the 12 spending bills needed to keep government operating past the Sept. 30 end of the current fiscal year. Shouldn't their salary be withheld when they don't do what they are paid for? [44]

Kathleen Sebelius spent $18 million dollars misleading taxpayers on the benefits of Obamacare. According to the Government Accountability Office, she “overstated the benefits” of health reform, and that [the mailer] failed to note the real possibility of less generous Medicare benefits and higher costs. [45]

Soldier Who Risked Life to Save Another to be Awarded Medal of Honor. Army Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta will be the first living person awarded the medal, the nation's top military honor, since the Vietnam War. The medal is given for the highest valor in combat. Giunta risked his life in Afghanistan in 2007 to save a wounded comrade from being captured by enemy forces. [46]

Obama White House Aides Owed More Than $800G in Back Taxes!
President Obama might want to audit his own staff as he sets out to close the deficit. Turns out he could shake them down for close to a cool million in back taxes. According to a Washington Post analysis of IRS data, a total of 41 White House staff members owed back taxes worth more than $831,000 at the end of 2009. 421 Employees of the U.S. House of Representatives owe over 6.5 million! Liberal Fairness Department: Veteran Busted, Illegal Immigrant Walks in Gun Case. A Texas gun dealer was sentenced to six months in prison for selling a firearm to an illegal immigrant, but a "middle-man" who bought the gun for the immigrant -- and who was in the U.S. illegally himself, but had a valid driver's license -- was never arrested, charged or deported in the case. [48]

More Bad News For Barack Obama: 61% Say Cutting Spending Will Create More Jobs Than Obama's "New" $50 Billion Program. [49]

2009-08-06-ObamaJoker2.jpg

Yet Another Democrat Questions Wisdom of Extending Only Part of Bush Tax Cuts. Another major Dem player, scared for their political life, backed away from Barack Obama this morning. Senator Jim Webb, D-Va., questioned the wisdom of extending only a portion of the Bush tax cuts set to expire at the end of this year, joining a growing list of moderate Democrats expressing skepticism or out right opposition to allowing tax cuts for the well-to-do to expire in a recession. The American people are done with socialist economics, something the prideful, arrogant Obama cannot see. [50]

Part of the problem? The sometimes-conservative Wall Street Journal and National Review are promoting the pro-abortion Mike Castle against the pro-life, Tea Party Express candidate Christine O'Donnell, and the more consistently conservative American Spectator calls them out for it. [51]

A Democratic Congressman makes a startling confession which explains more than anything why these people need to go: "If there’s one thing I’ve learned up here (in Washington) and I didn’t really need to come up here to learn it, is the only way to get Congress to balance the budget is to give them no choice, and the only way to keep them out of the cookie jar is to give them no choice, which is why – whether it’s balanced budget acts or pay as you go legislation or any of that – is the only thing. If you don’t tie our hands, we will keep stealing" [52]

Pandemonium in Delaware as pro-life Christine O'Donnell and the Tea Party Express are on the verge of an historic upset over the pro-abortion Mike Castle: "most pundits believe that she is in striking distance of the much-better-known Castle." [53]

Beware of Link: E-Mail Virus Plays Havoc With Internet. An e-mail virus swept through the Internet Thursday, snarling traffic and taking down servers at ABC, NASA, Comcast, and Google. The virus, called “Here You Have” or VBMania, is a simple Trojan Horse: An e-mail arrives in your inbox with the suggestive subject line “here you have.” Click the link in the message and you launch a program that spams the same Trojan Horse out to everyone in your address book, flooding and crippling e-mail servers. [54]

An interesting study on unemployment in the United States was done in 2010 which revealed the unemployment rates for individuals at different income levels.[55][56] In these uncertain times, it certainly can pay handsomely to work hard at increasing your work skills.

Between the time George Washington took the oath of office and the day that Barack Obama took the same oath, the federal government amassed $9 trillion of debt. And, in the nineteen months since then, it has piled up $3.5 trillion more! [57]

Sarah Palin Strongly Endorses Christine O'Donnell In Delaware Primary. [58]

Palin Book2.jpg

"The wave of positive change can really sweep across our land with the election of Constitutional Conservatives who promise to use common sense and rein in the federal government spending! Please support Christine O’Donnell in Delaware. She will support efforts for America’s energy security, patient-centered health care reform, cutting government waste, and letting the private sector thrive and prosper! We can’t afford “more of the same” in Washington. Christine will help usher in the real change we need to get America on the right track." [59]

Federal Judge Rules Military's Gay Ban Unconstitutional. A federal judge in Southern California on Thursday declared the U.S. military's ban on openly gay service members unconstitutional because it violates the First Amendment rights of gay and lesbians. U.S. District Judge Virginia Phillips HAS granted a request for an injunction halting the government's "don't ask, don't tell" policy for gays in the military. Phillips is a liberal, appointed by President Bill Clinton. [60]

Truth Comes Out Department: Obama's ICE Proposes Policy That Would Let Illegal Immigrants Go Free. In another try at an end-run around the will of the voters, Illegal immigrants who get pulled over by police for traffic-related offenses will be set free if a proposed change in Immigration and Customs Enforcement policy is approved. The proposal has come under by fire by county sheriffs near the Arizona-Mexico border. [61]

Economic Indicators Pose "Challenge" to Obama's Sales Pitch Lies About Economy. As the President tries to get voters to focus on the good and block out the bad as he looks to jolt the economy out of neutral, the recent figures from the real estate, manufacturing and automotive markets underscore how much Obama has wrecked the economy with big spending and higher taxes. 'Islamic Symbols' Furor at United Flight 93 Memorial. A newspaper ad -- paid for by Tom Burnett Sr., whose 38-year-old son died in the crash, and Alec Rawls, author of "Crescent of Betrayal: Dishonoring the Heroes" -- revives their claim that the memorial's "Field of Honor" clearly resembles an Islamic crescent and star, and that the entire site is orientated toward Mecca. [63]

Lying Liars Department: Harry Reid: "I had nothing to do with bad economy."
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, facing a tough re-election bid in one of the states hardest hit by the recession, Nevada, said today that the economic downturn was not his fault. "I had nothing to do with the massive foreclosures here," Reid said during an appearance on the ABC News/Washington Post "Top Line" program, adding that he also had no part in contributing to the state's dismal unemployment figures. Story + Video We wonder if Reid will be attending the giant White House Dance Party!

Obamas-dancing WHPhoto.jpg

Michelle Obama Will Host White House Dance Party!
The stately White House East Room, home to many a bill signing and ceremonial gathering, becomes a stage Tuesday for pirouettes, jetes, gravity-defying leaps and maybe even some bumps and grinds as Michelle Obama inaugurates a new dance series. With the economy in the tank and getting worse, hosting dance parties probably isn't the best idea. But this is just the latest in a long line of White House partying - McCartney, country night, jazz night, Latin American night. For an administration supposedly concerned about Americans and their financial plight, the Obama's actions certainly don't show it. [64]

Another Proposal From Obama to Throw Your Money Down the Drain: Obama talks tax cuts, but he wants to raise the marginal income taxes that small business owners pay and then give them back some of that money only if they make business decisions that his administration approves of. Large businesses also will get tax cuts, but only if they do what the Obama administration wants them to do. [65]

Rift Over Tax Cuts Widens Among Democrats. Party Begins To Ask (Once Again): "Is Obama Fit To Lead?
Growing reservations and anxiety among Dems about letting tax rates rise for wealthy Americans are making it more unlikely that Congress will decide what to do about the expiration of the Bush-era tax cuts before November's election. 54 House Blue Dog Democrats have sided with the Republicans in wanting to keep the Bush cuts. [66]

Another large creation science museum is opening in the United States.VIDEO

From the Liberal stupidity department: Let's see if we get this straight...we cannot drill for oil in the Gulf of Mexico due to a presidential order, but we can give Mexico nearly $2 billion of our tax dollars so they can drill for oil in the gulf, and then spend more money to buy that oil from them...but it's still much cheaper to do the drilling ourselves![67]

Will the Tea Party Express run its record of upsets to 4-for-4?: It begins supporting Christine O'Donnell and she quickly stuns liberals by pulling closer to the entrenched RINO Mike Castle in the Delaware primary for Biden's former U.S. Senate. O'Donnell is a former director of Birthright, a pro-life pregnancy center, while Castle seems just fine with more abortions.

If we can control spending and shave a few points off the inflation rate, we can do more good for the poor, the elderly, and the finances of State and local government than any package of Federal programs ever could. --- Ronald Reagan March 9, 1981

The Obama Presidency is crumbling! "Democrats in Congress are no longer asking themselves whether this is going to be a bad election year for them and their party. They are asking whether it is going to be a disaster."[68]

A top official in Obama's Justice Department has openly said that she and her department will refuse to enforce voter registration laws...which means that the Democrats will once more rely on the dearly-departed and the feloniously-convicted to stay in office: [69]

September 13

UN1.jpg

United Nations Wants Control of World's Agenda. After a year of setbacks, U.N. Secretary General Ban ki-Moon and his top lieutenants spend their weekend at a remote retreat, discussing ways to put their organization in charge of the world's agenda:

  • How to restore “climate change” as a top global priority after the fiasco of last year’s Copenhagen summit;
  • How to continue to try to make global redistribution of wealth the real basis of that climate agenda, and widen the discussion further to encompass the idea of “global public goods”;
  • How to keep growing U.N. peacekeeping efforts into missions involved in the police, courts, legal systems and other aspects of strife-torn countries; [70]

Is Hillary Clinton testing the waters to run against Obama for the presidential nomination? Today she amazingly declared that the massive deficit is a national security threat and sends a "message of weakness" to the world. [71] The deficit is obviously due to Obama's never-ending spending.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is embarking on a national campaign swing for fellow Republicans in 2010 that includes a trip to the state that launches the presidential nominating season. The trip is sure to spark more speculation that Christie is eyeing a potential presidential run in 2012, something he has emphatically denied. [72]

"For the first time since 1930, Republican votes for statewide offices are outnumbering Democratic votes, according to an analysis from American University's Center for the Study of the American Electorate." [73]

Obamacare is already a failure when it comes to reducing healthcare costs. Premium increases of 1% to 9% have been proposed by insurers, more costly than Democrats predicted. [74]

Is Barack Obama Dishonest, Naive or Both When He Talks About Our Economy? The longer President Obama refuses to acknowledge the direction of our nation's economy the greater the impact will be when the looming depression that awaits is named in his honor. [75]

Libertarians don't want RINO Lisa Murkowski either. [76] Perhaps we can get asylum for RINOs in a foreign country?

Expect a big push to end Obamacare if Republicans capture both Houses in November. Though they would be shy of overriding a presidential veto, they would effectively control all means of funding or in other words "defunding." [77]

57% in New Jersey Approve of Governor’s Job Performance. Most New Jersey voters continue to approve of new Governor Chris Christie's job performance. Christie has embarked on an aggressive effort to cut the size of government and reduce the tax load on New Jersey residents who now pay the highest property taxes in the country. [78]

Carly Fiorina 1.jpg

How Things Change Department: California Senate race, Carly Fiorina (R) 48%, Barbara Boxer (D) 47%. Results before leaners are added show Fiorina with a 47% to 42% lead over Boxer. Two weeks ago, the candidates were in a virtual tie when voters were asked their initial preference. That a Conservative candidate like Fiorina would be even or slightly ahead of the Liberal Boxer in left-leaning California, is yet another example of Obamageddon, where the hapless Barack Obama is dragging down Democrat candidates nationwide. [79]

Liberal Pundit Richard Cohen On The Incredible Shrinking Presidency: "Obama's approval rating tracks at about 47%. Ronald Reagan did worse at this stage of his presidency, but he was both liked and known. Obama is not all that liked and not very much known. [80]

"As Dems Kick Off Fall Campaign, Obama Promises Another Multi-Billion Stimulus Program." [81]

Al Sharpton is no stranger to financial problems. Sharpton's National Action Network is found to be in such financial disarray that it flunked its record-keeping and may not even survive. [82]

Meanwhile In The Public Schools: Police have accused a high school teacher of holding teenagers, ages 16-19, at gunpoint after he found them ghost-hunting in a Tennessee graveyard. [83]

Liberal Values: Free Wedding Just a Con by 'Sick' Bride. A New York bride's entire wedding was paid for by well-wishers who believed she had terminal cancer. Strangers had donated everything from Vega's dress to wedding photos. For the couple's honeymoon, they flew on donated plane tickets to Aruba, where they stayed in a donated time share and spent donated money. [84]

Labor Day Surge for GOP in Bellwether Ohio. Voters in Ohio are very angry. Unemployment is 9th worst in the nation and has hovered over 10% all year. Incumbent governors routinely have their states' strongest political machines and that is the case with Ohio Democrat Ted Strickland. But Strickland trails Conservative GOP challenger and former congressman John Kasich by 12 points in the latest Columbus Dispatch poll.

Obama Campaigns for Democrats on "New Infrastructure Investment Plan". The Salient Points:

Obama-socialist-2.jpg
  • New & Higher Taxes On Oil Companies With Higher Gasoline Prices For Us. Obama Doesn't Want Us To Drive.
  • Billions For Trains Most of the Country Will Never Use, But Does Keep Hundreds Of Union Featherbed Jobs.
  • $pend Billions For Short-Term Highway Improvement Projects For A Few Thousand Temporary Jobs.
  • All Economic Problems Stem From Bush and the Republican Party.

With Americans still looking for all those "shovel ready" jobs Obama and the liberals spent trillions for last year, it might be a hard sell to convince the American people that even more taxes and even more $pending will finally show some results. Obamageddon, anyone? [85]

Conservative Tea Partier Rand Paul opens up a massive 15-point lead in the latest independent poll. [86] If only we can get liberals like MSNBC to try to smear Rand further, perhaps he can widen that lead to 20 points!

Hilda L. Solis , Obama's Labor Secretary, appears to be fighting to keep her own job despite her lackluster performance. Ms. Solis alleges that President Obama is doing a good job concerning the economy.[87] Ms. Solis, try selling that idea to the unemployed who are going to vote against Obama in 2012 in large numbers.

"CNN Poll: GOP's midterm advantage is growing," and there are only 57 days left to Election Day (less than that for early voting). [88]

There’ s nothing more glorious than the blessing that is our God-given freedom to choose those who will lead us, and there’s no sight more moving than a lone American walking to that voting booth, casting a ballot in secret, and thereby determining the destiny of this great country. --- Ronald Reagan, Radio Address, 11/5/88

Business Insider reports: "The global unemployment problem is so huge that the total number of jobless in the ten most populous nations in the world totals 1.1 billion."[91] The unemployment rate in Zimbabwe is approximately 95%.[92] Vote the Democrats out in November before they turn the US economy into an economy like Zimbabwe.

Idaho Senate Race: Crapo (R) 63%, Sullivan (D) 24%. Republican Senator Mike Crapo continues to hold almost a four-to-one lead over liberal Tom Sullivan in the race for Idaho’s senate seat. Crapo is successfully defying the anti-incumbent tide sweeping most of the nation. Could it be his pro-gun, anti-abortion, pro-family record that is helping him? [93]

Nanny State Alert! San Francisco city leaders are set to consider levying yet another fee tax on alcohol that would go to cover some of the costs linked to drinking too much. The Liberal San Francisco Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote Tuesday on imposing the fee on wholesalers and distributors that would add about 3 cents to a 12-ounce bottle of beer, 4.5 cents to a 6-ounce glass of wine and 3.5 cents to a standard drink with 1.5 ounces of hard alcohol. It is expected to take in 16 Million Dollars per year. [95]

Ann Coulter speculates that Barack Obama is an atheist.[96] Barack Obama's strange liberal brew of religion and self worship is so confusing that Obama probably cannot tell you what religion he is on any given day. John McCain Derides Obama's "Deathbed Conversion". President Obama's proposal to offer targeted tax credits and a payroll tax holiday are part of a "deathbed conversion" realized only after it has become clear that Democrats could lose the House this fall. McCain, no stranger to the same type of conversions, was himself "scared straight" back onto the true conservative path by a lively primary fight and knows what he is talking about! [97]

Less than two months from Election Day, Democrats begin to abandon their weak incumbents in the desperate hope of holding their safest seats. [98]

A Washington D.C. television station and news website reports that eco-terrorist James J. Lee was a militant atheist who ripped a picture of Jesus in a heated bus confrontation about a week before his attack on the Discovery Channel building.[99] The Gazette declares in an article about James J. Lee: "Writing for the Discovery Institute, David Klinghoffer pointed out that Darwinian theory has a strange effect on people who are 'crazy, wicked, or both.'"[100]

On a lighter note, Christian YouTube video producer shockofgod is filled with a great deal of mirth and laughter concerning one of Conservapedia's lampoons of atheism and the very angry reaction of an atheist to the Conservapedia lampoon. The recently released jobs report from the Labor Department was a grim reminder of a failed Democrat-led economic policy. For some reason the lamestream media forgot to mention that the unemployment rate among black men is horrific. Depression, not recession is reality for their dismal unemployment rate stands at 17.3 percent and growing, up from 16.7 percent. [103]

Nevada Governor: Brian Sandoval (R) 58%, Rory Reid (D) 33%. Sandoval, a former federal judge and state attorney general, has consistently held a lead over Reid, son of Senate House Majority Leader Harry Reid. With this latest poll the race switches to Solid GOP on the Rasmussen Election 2010 Gubernatorial Scorecard. [104]
Note the liberal double standard: liberals don't mock Harry Reid's kid as they mocked Dan Quayle's, even though Quayle's son won.

Evidence Mounts That Liberals Are Facing Midterm Wipeout. Hopes for an economic recovery to save Democrats from voter punishment during midterm elections this November quickly fade as an already high unemployment rate inches up, foreclosures remain high and housing sales stay flat. Obama's response? It is the same as liberals always come up with -- Raise Taxes & Fees! Spend more money!

It would be comical except for the millions of Americans thrown out of work and the thousands of closed companies, all caused by the same discredited leftist economic policies we have seen before... [105]

It's pretty ironic as well as hypocritical, right Jesse? While speaking to Detroiters about the need for green jobs and gas-sipping roller skates that are the liberal version of cars these days, the Reverend Jesse Jackson had his gas-guzzling Cadillac Escalade SUV stolen! [106]

GOP Vows Crackdown on Government Corruption If Party Wins House. If Republicans regain control of the House in November, some have vowed to launch investigations into controversies that liberals have tried to ignore, including the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case and the activities of the community activist group ACORN. Obama to Redirect Bush Tax Cuts to Small Business; Another Giveaway. With the job market stuck in neutral, the Obama administration is moving toward using the revenue from expiring tax cuts for the so-called wealthy to finance about $35 billion of tax cuts for small businesses and workers, administration and congressional officials said Friday. Is anyone asking who will be left with the all-important money to invest in those businesses? [[111]

Larry J. Sabato --- Sixty Days To Go: The Crystal Ball's Labor Day Predictions:[127]

  • Republicans have a good chance to win control of the House by picking up as many as 47 seats, net.
  • In the Senate, we now believe the GOP will do a bit better than our long-time prediction of +7 seats. Republicans have an outside shot at winning full control (+10), but are more likely to end up with +8 (or maybe +9, at which point it will be interesting to see how senators such as Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, and others react).
  • The statehouses will provide the third leg of the Republicans’ 2010 victory. We have long suggested the GOP would gain a net +6 governorships. We now believe they will win +8.

The Liberals Are Losing It...

Obama-dope.jpg

Liberals have become hysterical. Who can blame them? Just when things were going so well, their beloved leader, "The One", has done the unthinkable – he has flopped. Not only has President Obama crashed in the polls, but he has managed to anger the right, the left and the center of the country, not an easy feat. Even more unsettling to those who still adhere to Obamanomics, the people — those unruly, pesky, ill-informed, racist, uncaring and misguided hordes who so recently embraced the message of unity and hope that swept an inexperienced youngster into office – have rejected policies that are for their own good! ....Read on

Liberals like to bemoan the gap between rich and poor, directing their anger at the rich. Yet Massachusetts liberals fund a $2oo million dollar school while inner city school children suffer in decaying buildings. Years ago, kids were the main focus of education. No Help On The Horizon For Democrats. Democrats in Congress needed a public re-evaluation of the Obamacare law. That hasn't happened. Favorable attitudes toward the new law dropped from 50% last month to 43% this month, according to liberal polls! Simply put, Democrats find themselves heading into a midterm election that looks as grisly as any the party has faced in decades. Another Major New Poll Points to Liberal and Obama Doom in November.

Obama-socialist-2.jpg

A new Gallup/USA Today survey out today finds Americans think Republicans in Congress will do a better job than Democrats in handling seven out of nine key issues. The biggest divide is on the issue of terrorism, where Republicans get the edge by a wide 55-31% margin. Republicans also win big on immigration (50-35%), federal spending (50-35%), and even the economy (49-38%) - despite Democratic efforts to paint the recession's onset as the fault of congressional Republicans and former President George W. Bush. [143], [144] & [145]

The latest Gallup survey comes two days after the organization's daily tracking survey showed Republicans 10 points ahead of Democrats in a generic matchup – numbers that marked the fifth straight week the Republicans have held an advantage on the question. The 10-point margin is also the party's largest lead ever in midterm contests in Gallup's polling history.

As President Obama prepares to tie a bow on U.S. combat operations in Iraq, Congressional Budget Office numbers show that the total cost of the eight-year war was less than the Economic stimulus bill passed by the Democrat-led Congress in 2009. "Relative to the size of the economy, this year's deficit is expected to be the second largest shortfall in the past 65 years; 9.1 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), exceeded only by last year's deficit of 9.9 percent of GDP," CBO wrote. Under George W. Bush In 2007 and 2008, the deficit as a percentage of gross domestic product was 1.2 percent and 3.2 percent, respectively. Liberals believe they will never run out of your money!

Election 2010: California Governor: Meg Whitman (R) 48%, Jerry Brown (D) 40%. The tie that has lingered for months is broken now, with Republican Meg Whitman, coming off last weekend’s state GOP Convention, moving out to her best showing yet in the race to be the next governor of California. These new numbers move California from a Toss-Up to Leans GOP. [199]

The pro-life stance of Joe Miller was the secret to his success against RINO Lisa Murkowski. But see how the Anchorage Daily News spins the story ambiguously in its headline: "Murkowski's stand on abortion may be key factor if she loses"

Oh my gosh department: Obama Administration lawyers file an amicus brief against a global warming lawsuit being appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. [200] Did someone not get the memo?

Ho-Hum, Obama Lies Department: Stimulus Figures Questioned Amid Call for Economic Team Firings. A leading Republican economist criticized lawmakers Wednesday for trying to hold up a new report from the budget office he used to lead as evidence that the stimulus is working. But Douglas Holtz-Eakin, former CBO director, said the CBO analysis cannot be taken "at face value." [201]

Financial Expert Jim Cramer: Bad Data Has Silver Lining. The economy is so bad that both Main Street and Wall Street are rooting for the GOP in November. "And that's the evidence that the fault belongs to Obama, not the predecessor."

In fact, I would go so far as to say that there is almost a universal belief among all of the large firms -- mutual and hedge and research -- that if this president gets his way and the House and Senate stay Democrat we are going to decline precipitously. It is so palpable that it overrides any data that could come out, whether it be earnings, or inflation, or spending, or employment itself.

But no one will say it!

It is amazing to me that no one will break ranks and say out loud what they say to me 10 times a day: "This president hates business, hates successful business people, and hates the basic way business is done in this country! [202]

House Democrats campaign against President Obama, Nancy Pelosi. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called them her "majority makers" – the moderate to conservative Democrats in right-leaning districts whose election in 2006 made her Speaker. And now many of them – and other Democrats in competitive districts -- are fighting for their political lives in a harsh environment and have found it necessary to distance themselves from their leaders and Democratic policies. 10 States Seek Waiver to Comply With Military Voting Law's Absentee Ballot Rules. Armed insurgents provide quite enough for our fighting men and women overseas to worry about but this fall's jam-packed election calendar is also ambushing them. The Pentagon is refusing to ensure that the Armed Forces get to vote. It certainly couldn't be because the Obama administration doesn't want their votes counted, could it? [206]

Ann Coulter: MSNBC Swears to Allah That Obama's Not A Muslim. "Accusations of racism apparently do not require the ironclad proof demanded for accusations that someone is a Muslim. And there's a lot more evidence that Obama's a Muslim than Republicans are racists...." [207]

The corrupt liberal organization ACORN lives on. Despite dissolving its national infrastructure and laying off most its staff, ACORN continues to operate below the radar. ACORN has rebranded its local operations in at least 13 states and the District of Columbia. The odious group plans to resurface under a new name after the midterm elections. [208]

Tea Party upset: Little-known Joe Miller leads RINO incumbent Lisa Murkowski for the Alaska U.S. Senate seat by 2000 votes, with 16,000 absentee ballots still to count. [211]
If Joe Miller wins, then the Tea Party Express will be 3-for-3 in scoring huge upsets in U.S. Senate races.

Imam: U.S. Has Muslim Blood on Its Hands. The controversial imam at the center of Ground Zero mosque debate who is currently representing the U.S. in the Mideast once said America had killed more innocents than Al Qaeda. Watch the video for "in context" proof.

Liberal double standard strikes again: the lamestream media idolize underachieving children of liberals, such as the Kennedy's, but then have a hissy fit when Ben Quayle (son of Dan) runs for Congress. Ben Quayle wins Republican Congressional primary in Arizona. [212]

John McCain Declared Winner In Arizona Republican Primary. McCain currently had a 30% lead over his opponent J. D. Hayworth. Both men had the backing of various Tea Party organizations. Aside from record spending on McCain's part, which didn't help other incumbents this year, McCain's biggest boost was his endorsement by Sarah Palin, who made several appearances in Arizona.[213]

Rick Scott scores an upset in the Republican primary for governor of Florida. Both candidates are conservative but Scott had opposed ObamaCare for months before entering this race.

The African American Kendrick Meek defeats his Democratic rival Jeff Greene for the Senate nomination in Florida, paving the way for conservative Marco Rubio to win the three-way race in November.

Political correctness, aka liberal insanity, can get you fired for a song. An assistant football coach for a Tennessee middle school apparently shared his song[214] lampooning Obama with the wrong folks, who promptly demanded his termination: [215][216] Proof-positive that liberals cannot take even the most harmless of criticisms!

The polls have closed in Florida, where turnout was "slow and steady" all day. [217] There are key races in both political parties. Stay here for results.

California Democrats' Tax Foolishness: A plan to raise revenue in the state hits the middle class while sparing the truly wealthy. In Sacramento, Democrats confront a different problem than Washington's. They have to come up with a more-or-less balanced budget, even as their state ranks third in percentage of workers unemployed. And yet they still seem determined to cut the super-rich a break. [218]

Primary elections are being held today in Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Oklahoma and Vermont. Is it "Miller time" for the Tea Party candidate in Alaska? Will John "campaign finance reform" McCain's outspending J.D. Hayworth by nearly $20 million push enough voters to McCain's side in Arizona?

In the United Kingdom, atheist and evolutionist Richard Dawkins has called for the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted) to force faith schools to teach religious education (RE) in line with the national curriculum, the Daily Telegraph has reported.[219]

Message to Richard Dawkins: Would you like to debate Conservapedia on the notion that atheists are often quarrelsome, socially challenged men or are you too much of a quarrelsome, socially challenged man to see the necessity of such a debate?

Global warming hoax and Hollywood Values collide: the greatest filmmaker (James Cameron of Avatar) backs out on the eve of the debate: [220]. Wow, backing out of a debate is hardly persuasive.

J.D. Hayworth: "$21 Million Won't Be Enough" for John McCain. [221] That is how much McCain has spent to overcome this challenge, more than ten times the campaign spending by "JD". Hayworth was unable to fully take the Tea Party mantle, as McCain touted the support of local tea party groups as well. Also backing McCain were a couple of conservative heavy hitters in former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), as well as Senator Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.). [222]

Trend forecaster Gerald Celente slams Paul Krugman of the NY Times for his lack of opposition to America's current wars and war spending, his advocacy of big government deficit spending, and his lousy forecasting track record. In addition, Celente slammed Obama for his dumbed down meeting with television show The View which he thought was indicative of American decline.VIDEO.

The liberal ACLU strikes again: "the Rhode Island branch of the American Civil Liberties Union is contesting a new mandatory school uniform policy for all students in Woonsocket’s public schools." [223] Why doesn't the ACLU sue over how public schools produce illiterates and vandals instead?

Federal Court: No Fed Funds For Stem Cell Research. A federal court temporarily blocks the Obama administration from using federal dollars to fund expanded human Embryonic stem cell research, saying it involves 'the destruction of embryos'. [224]

Liberals start to tax bloggers: "Got a blog that makes no money? The city wants $300, thank you very much." [225] Isn't liberal ideology great??

Charles Krauthammer: Moral Myopia at Ground Zero.

No one disputes the right to build; the whole debate is about the propriety, the decency of doing so.

Radical Islam is not, by any means, a majority of Islam. But with its financiers, clerics, propagandists, trainers, leaders, operatives and sympathizers -- according to a conservative estimate, it commands the allegiance of 7% of Muslims, i.e., more than 80 million souls -- it is a very powerful strain within Islam. It has changed the course of nations and affected the lives of millions. It is the reason every airport in the West is an armed camp and every land is on constant alert.

Ground Zero is the site of the most lethal attack of that worldwide movement, which consists entirely of Muslims, acts in the name of Islam and is deeply embedded within the Islamic world. These are regrettable facts, but facts they are. And that is why putting up a monument to Islam in this place is not just insensitive but provocative. [226]

Since January 2009, George W. Bush's poll numbers have gone up 10% while Barack Hussein Obama's numbers have fallen 20%. "Close to two years into President Barack Obama's term, Bush's mojo with the American public appears on the rise." [227]

An extensive look at The War On Reason. "Since King Barry’s coronation, Liberals have split into two primary camps; those determined to remain irrational and loyal to King Barry rather than question the veracity of his words or motivation for his deeds, and those that have accepted reality and garnered the courage to admit they’ve made a very dangerous mistake by electing our forty-fourth President." Liberal Insanity: Los Angeles unveils nation's most expensive public school with $578M price tag. The K-12 complex to house 4,200 students has raised eyebrows across the country as the creme de la creme of "Taj Mahal" schools, $100 million-plus campuses boasting both architectural panache and deluxe amenities. [229]
Of course, students still won't learn how to read or do simple math.

Even liberals's safe seat in Connecticut has quickly tightened in the polls: "How to lose an unlosable race." [230]

Is it Deja vu all over again for Democrats? Some neutral observers and senior strategists within the party have begun to believe that the national political environment is not only similar to what they saw in 1994 -- when Democrats lost control of the House and Senate -- but could in fact be worse by Election Day...what is being called "Obamageddon". [231]

Blogger Beware: Postings Can Lead to Lawsuits. Although bloggers may have a free-speech right to say what they want online, courts have found that they are not protected from being sued for their comments, even if they are posted anonymously. Some postings have even led to criminal charges. "A lot of people don't know how easy it is to track them down" once a lawsuit is filed, said Sara J. Rose, an American Civil Liberties Union lawyer in Pittsburgh. [232]

The Tea Party Express has already won two huge upsets with Sharron Angle and Ken Buck, and tries for its third in Alaska by backing conservative Joe Miller against RINO Lisa Murkowski. [233]

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman apparently didn't like our Counterexamples to Relativity, but he didn't say anything substantive about it in his criticism.

Three big primaries Tuesday, with a test of Tea Party strength especially in Alaska (the other primaries are in Arizona and Florida).

Americans are rejecting liberals: "Senate Landscape Shifts Farther in Favor of GOP." California, Washington, Wisconsin, Georgia and Iowa are all shifting towards Republican Senate candidates. [235] Once declared impossible, a Republican takeover of the Senate is increasingly likely.

Artificial intelligence researcher Ray Kurzweil and the atheist and evolutionist PZ Myers argue whether or not computer scientists will develop a computer to match human intellect in the near future.[236]

Question for PZ Myers: When will computer scientists develop a computer that can consistently beat Christians and creation scientists in debate? Judging from your reluctance to debate Creation Ministries International, Conservapedians doubt that day will ever arrive. Plus, creation scientists tend to win the creation vs. evolution debates.

Second question for PZ Myers: When are you going to evolve a backbone and/or a worldview you can actually defend?[237]

Liberal finances at work: "Closed signs went up at California agencies Friday as a second slew of mandatory furloughs went into effect for government employees in an effort to resolve California's $19 billion budget deficit." [238] Conservapedia stays open on Fridays and you get more from it anyway.

"Charlie Cook to Dems: You know you’re going to get totally destroyed in November, right?" [239] Charlie Cook invented the "Cook Index."

Conservative, pro-life "Carly Fiorina widens lead over Barbara Boxer" in the Democratic stronghold of California, and baffled liberals wonder why. [240]

Liberal and clueless Harry Reid must think voters are dumber than he is: he thinks he'll win the election because Sharron Angle once criticized all-black football uniforms. "It's sad that the majority leader has resorted to cheap insults about a story that's not even true," responds Angle's campaign. [241]

Thomas Sowell, economist, scholar, and the author of his latest book Dismantling America, a collection of essays. He discusses the collapse of America, judges who legislate from the bench, and why the November 2010 elections are so critical. What he says might shock you. Find out more about what Thomas says is at the heart of the decline of American society.

As the liberal math establishment honored Vietnam's leading intellectual with the Fields Medal, congressmen separately pointed out that 'Over the last year, we’ve seen Vietnam’s record on human rights and religious freedom take a turn for the worse.'" [242]
The winner, Ngo Bao Chau, is leaving Vietnam for the University of Chicago.

Barack Obama is such a drag on liberal congressional incumbents, George Bush now polls higher in districts held by Democrats. [243] "He is a walking radioactive disaster," one senior Democratic operative said of the president.

Liberals fall behind with respect to another "safe" Senate seat: the petrified media report that "Republican Dino Rossi is actually ahead of Democratic incumbent Patty Murray, 52% to 45%." [244]

A Swedish tabloid reported Saturday that an arrest warrant has been issued for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on suspicion of rape, and officials said they could confirm "media reports." [245]

Massive Fail: Even as Congress increased overall federal spending in fiscal 2010, it appropriated only enough funds for the Department of Homeland Security to provide a fraction of the additional 40,000 detention spaces for illegal aliens that had been authorized by a 2004 immigration law. Because it lacked adequate detention space, DHS says it was forced over the last three years to release hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who were being processed for deportation. [246]

Give it up, liberals: Sharron Angle retakes the lead from Harry Reid in Nevada despite the lamestream media's attempts to smear Angle. [247]

Maybe liberals are not as dumb as they look: "Dems find wealthy liberals sitting on their wallets this election cycle." [248]

Arkansas Senate Race: Boozman (R) 65%, Lincoln (D) 27%. Support for incumbent Democratic Senator Blanche Lincoln has now fallen to its lowest level yet as Republican John Boozman remains on track to shift Arkansas’ Senate seat to the GOP column. Lincoln was reelected to a second Senate term in 2004 with 56% of the vote. Her political fortunes in the state have plummeted since she cast a procedural vote late last year to keep the ObamaCare care bill alive. Opposition to Obama's socialized medicine scheme in Arkansas has been even higher than it is nationally. [250]

No Vacation From Religion Questions For Obama. As Obama and family get into yet another vacation mode on Martha's Vineyard, questions about the president's religion — and why nearly 1-in-5 believe he's a Muslim — persist. The Pew Forum found 18% of Americans now believe the president to be a Muslim, up from 11% last year. The percentage who believe Mr. Obama to be a Christian fell from 48% to 34%. "Now less than half of Democrats say the president is a Christian," Alan Cooperman of the Pew Forum says. "Less than half of African Americans say the president is a Christian. Less than half of people who give Obama a positive job approval rating say he is a Christian." [251] This story is just the latest of many where Conservapedia has been at the forefront in alerting our readers about prescient national issues that Wikipedia ignores or obfuscates with liberal denial.

500,000 Americans lose jobs last week; Obama heads to Martha's Vineyard for vacation. [252]

Latest liberal gimmick: "DOT Asked Contractors to Post Signs 'Solely Used to Publicize' Obama's Stimulus Law." [253]

Think the Associated Press is working for America? While touting the benefits of a "child's park" between the two Koreas - an idea put forth by a visiting American kid - they take the time by preventing a small release of information of one photograph taken of the kid and a North Korean soldier in front of what they hint is a Korean "navy boat" (it is actually the USS Pueblo, captured in a violent attack in 1968): [254]

The Rats Begin Leaving Obama’s Sinking Ship. "Not to put a fine point on it, the rats have begun leaving Obama’s ship. The first to announce his departure was our current President’s Director of the Office of Management and Budget Peter Orszag. Last Thursday, Christina Romer , Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, announced that she would soon follow Orszag’s example. Neither Orszag nor Romer is a fool. They were party to a con, and they surely knew it. They endorsed and defended policies that, as economists, they knew were unsustainable; and they have left us holding the bag. The recovery has stalled; unemployment is at least 35% higher than Romer predicted it would be at this stage; and the deficits stemming from the so-called “stimulus bill” that these two piously praised as necessary for the recovery now threaten its continuance."

"I doubt that Barack Obama cares one whit. His aim was the transformation of a country that he sincerely hates, and Orszag and Romer have loyally served his purpose – as Timothy Geithner and Summers still do. There will, I suspect, be a political reckoning for all of this profligacy, and its first harbinger will present itself on the first Tuesday in November. You can fool Americans for a time – but not for long." ---Paul A. Rahe [255]
