U.S. House of Representatives

DCCC

In 2019, Bustos was elected to chair the DCCC.[2] Under her leadership, the Democrats suffered unexpected major defeats in the 2020 U.S. House elections, with many seats they flipped in the 2018 Midterms flipping back towards the Republican. After a chaotic post-election meeting as was reported by The Hill,[3] Bustos announced that she would not seek chairing the DCCC for a second term.[4]
