Richard Edmund Neal (born February 14, 1949) is an American politician from Democrat party serving as the U.S. representative for Massachusetts's 1st congressional district since 1989. Despite Neal being a Catholic and represent a Catholic district, he voted was co-sponsor Women's Health Protection Act in 2021.[1]
