Trump indictment news

Dems step up prosecution of Trump

Back in March, the idea of prosecuting a former president was considered a huge norm-buster, a violation of over two centuries of tradition. Using the legal system to take out political opposition was downright undemocratic. Now there are so many cases pending against Donald Trump that we need a "definitive guide" to keep track of them. The classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, the Stormy Daniels payoff, the phone call to the Georgia secretary of state, and Trump's role in the January 6th demonstration are all going to court, according to "target letters" issued by the relevant prosecutors.

If the Democrats are confident that Joe Biden can defeat Trump, why do they want him out of the race so badly? My theory is that Biden knows that he's not getting a second term, either for undisclosed health reasons or because of the Hunter Biden bribery scandal. He wants credit for removing Trump from U.S. politics to "finish the job," as he phrases it. Prosecuting Trump is the closest thing Biden has to a popular policy. Fortunately, we have some proven, well qualified sources covering the matter. TechnoFog is one of the best among several; he has proven himself through the Trump-Russia scam and impeachment, Mueller investigation, Durham investigation, etc. He even attends DC court hearings. For this reason, I'm not as engaged in the current Trump prosecutions and Hunter Biden problems as previously, cause we have respected, credible sources to use.

My focus is to connect the dots between Trump-Russia as the motivating factor and prelude to the Ukraine war - something all the same qualified sources say, but is a conspiracy so vast that when its true dimensions are known will forever be deserving of the maledictions of all honest men. Donald Trump may be flying high in the polls, but the reality is that the prosecutors and the Deep State decide. The Fulton County attorney and some Georgia jurors will decide who the next president will be -- and they are not likely to pick Trump. Donald Trump could be arrested in Atlanta any time now. Three out of the four cases pending against him involve legal theories that are unprecedented in American jurisprudence. The classified documents case is the only one with a recognizable legal foundation. But by prosecuting Trump and not Hillary, Biden is attempting to rig the 2024 election. How can the wife of a former president be immune from prosecution, but not an actual former president?

As president, Trump had the authority to created his own standard for what was classified and what wasn't. He could have made everything he did legal. The only reason that we know that he didn't do this is because he is on tape admitting that he didn't declassify the documents in question. So its a case that revolves on technicalities.

There are twenty-seven Republican attorney generals in the United States. They should all be cranking up prosecutions of Democrats. Prosecute Hunter as an unregistered foreign agent of Russia and China. Prosecute Stacy Abrams, Al Gore, and Hillary Clinton for attempting to overturn elections. Prosecute BLM and Antifa for the 2020 riots. The tech giants should be prosecuted for donating to pro-riot groups in order to force Americans to shop online. The Fourteenth Amendment (1868) says, "No person shall be...President...who, having previously taken an oath...to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."

This clause refers to people who served in elected office before the Civil War, then in elected office under the Confederacy, and then wanted to run for election after the Union was restored. In general, former Confederates were amnestied in 1872. A disqualification of this kind can only be enforced by the secretaries of state for the various states.

January 6 was a demonstration protected by the First Amendment. The only way the 14th Amendment applies is if "insurrection" is interpreted to mean "something the Democratic Party doesn't like."

This theory has been hashed over in the press more than once already. I would not call it a "bombshell." That it comes up again suggests that the MSN is once again worried that Trump can actually beat Biden in an election. In short, their fallback position is legalistic handwaving. The actual news story's lead as far as it's first two sentences is: "In a recent online poll on Twitter X Joe Biden ended up dead last in an international poll on respected leaders. Russia’s Vladimir Putin was first with 35.6% of the vote followed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 33.7% of the vote, followed by Ukraine’s Zelensky with 21.9% of the vote."

A Twitter poll can be affected by bots. I realize that a scientifically done representational poll done by Gallup International would be more expensive, but sometimes truth comes at a steeper price.

My guess is that the wealthy countries aligned with the USA would tend to be more anti-Putin. Of course, Russia has its allies too. And then much of the global south and/or poor countries are unaligned so they are better able to negotiate for the best deals. India has been unaligned for a long time. The non-aligned countries often share a common trait: Making expedient deals. That's one of the strengths that Donald Trump had as a real estate mogul. He was a dealmaker as president. The Abraham Accords had one of its prime focuses on economic deal-making and the various country's economic interests. Conway, I'd be interested in hearing your assessment of what remains of Ukrainian fighters; as I understand, Ukraine only has about 40,000 NATO trained/equipped troops remaining. The rest, about 160,000, are untrained/unexperienced conscripts pressed into service with an average age over 37 (many in their 50s). There is talk of another mobilization, but there's nobody left to press into service. Fully 90% of all males (say over the age of 15) will have served before the war is over. As far as I understand it now, here's what Zelensky's latest decree is suppose to do: his illegal order to grab conscripts off the street in select communities and regions has changed: he's now sending those guys (the kidnappers) to the front, and replacing them with returning veterans who lost an arm or leg. How a guy with one leg is suppose to chase a draft dodger down the street, as we've seen in countless videos, is unclear, but it's never been like he really cares anyway, so long as the DC gravy train keeps rolling. And apparently the new decree may apply nationwide, and not just in select regions and communities with Russian and Hungarian populations that the Kyiv regime (and NATO) seek to exterminate by sending draftees, pressed into service, on suicide attacks.

The reason mercenaries have been assigned to take over the role of commissars one can only speculate, but I would guess it's because it is well known the Russians particularly target foreign mercenary groups (and have even stepped up their targeting) in both the front and rear. So evidently their numbers have been reduced, and recruiting hasn't gone so well over the past year or so. The decree is about getting ahead of a brewing scandal re. regional recruitment officials accepting bribes from draft dodgers. It's likely some pretty rich & powerful Ukrainians will be found to have bought their sons out of serving and - politically, at least - it makes sense to nuke the entire regional recruitment leadership and start again.

There's no wider issue re. recruitment. Sure, virtually all those inclined to volunteer have done so already, but that's just what happens in any sufficiently big war. Eventually, you have to start pressing people into service. They might not be thrilled at the prospect, but as long as they know what they're fighting for - and they do - most of them will grit their teeth and get on with it. Democratically speaking, the majority of the population in NATO countries in Europe and North America oppose further escalation, so the 1 billion figure is meaningless. 2/3 of the planet support Russia.

GDP numbers measured in dollars is meaningless. It's calculated by exchange rates, and takes no account of the value of resources and their reserves like oil, gold, uranium, etc which Russia is among the world's largest holders and producers (IOWs, the method of calculation is flawed; that's how NATO blundered into the war). With de-dollarization, the exchange rate has no future in those calculations.

Here's a dirty little secret that I don't have the time or space to go into why, here and now: The United States, since the beginning of the Cold War, has never depended on conventional weapons as its first line of defense. The United States has always relied on nuclear weapons for the simple fact the US could NEVER compete the with the Soviet Union then, or Russia now, in conventional arms production. It costs more to produce a tank to transport it to the battlefield in Europe cause enough ships and planes also have to be built to transport the weapons in any significant or equal numbers. And Russia can always raise the cost to the US by producing more, and delivering them to the battlefield, quicker.

Heck, the US could never compete with German tank production, then or now, for the same reasons.

Succinctly, the cost of building conventional weapons throughout the Cold War and until now, as it has been represented to the American taxpayer, has ALWAYS been a fraud, and is just a boondoggle to Congressional districts. It's simple logistics. In WWII, the Germans and Soviets were in competition to build bigger, better tanks. The US could never compete, cause the cost of ship building had to be figured into the unit cost of each tank. The tanks had to be smaller to pack them on ships. The Russians and Germans can roll them off the assembly line straight into battle.

Nothing changed over the Cold War, other than the ability to deliver a few by aircraft.

In the 1970s, the Pentagon wanted to go a two-man tank, but Congressmen who served in tanks units in WWII wanted to stick with a 3 man tanks. Political interference in war planning and weapons design didn't really matter, cause tank production, among other conventional ground weapons, were never relied on as America's first line of defense in the event of war with the USSR. So they remained just a boondoggle for jobs in various districts.

In the Gulf War, you saw the same thing. The US delivered 1,000 Abrams to the battlefield, a superior tank to Saddam's 6,000 T-62 (do the math, an Abrams would have to knock out six T-62s to have a 50/50 chance of survival. But they were held back and never saw action, as the A-10 Warthog knocked out all Saddam's tanks. The Abrams were there just for show, despite all the media hype.

You see the same thing right now - the Abrams are held back, while German Leopard 2 are sent in to go toe-to-toe with T-90s. Not that the Abrams isn't in the class as a Leopard 2 or T-90, it's just that they are way more expensive (when you factor unit cost of delivery to the battlefield), and the risk of loss and replacement is too much.

American tanks and conventional weapons are cosmetic, cause the US has since 1949 relied on its nuclear first strike capabilities in the event of war with Russia. By the end of the Korean war, the Soviets reached nuclear parity and have held it ever since (with the theoretical exception of the neocons who came up with this nuclear primacy doctrine in 2013, which is the cause of this current conflict, and may be implemented once all the Ukrainian, Polish, Baltic, and German proxy soldiers are dead. Here's where you need some understanding how the system operates (and we will not even go into the matters of FISA abuse or Weaponization of government).

Presidentiual power consists of his powers of appointment, i.e. not so much what he himself does, but in the 2,000+ appointments he makes to the federal bureaucracy. No single person has 2,000 friends or acquaintances he knows personally to fill those appointments, so obviously a president is dependent on other people to make recommendations.

Then these appointments have to pass FBI background checks, i.e. the FBI has veto power over presidential appointments.

That is precisely the problem we face today; cause Chris Wray and the FBI aren't going to grant security clearances to anyone who wants to clean up the FBI, DOJ, CIA or any other corrupt apparatus of the US intelligence community and deep state. Before you go off on this rah-rah NATO spiel, as a young person you need to understand a few things. For NATO to continue to exist, it needs a bogeyman. Whoever the role of bogeyman gets assigned to, that means an arms race. An arms race, in economic terms, means you have to pay for it throughout your lifetime with higher taxes, higher inflation, and less economic opportunities for yourself for educational, employment opportunities, or starting a business (cause the nation has other priorities than your private interests). Let me expand on this: The sources I have collected from India (which I haven't been able to get to yet cause of trolling) are qualified; I will not accept MSNBC or any other MSM BS at face value (in fact, I'll probably deliberately ignore it). The link I provided shows a law passed by the US-backed fascist Kyiv regime, that requires all commercial transactions in Ukraine, even between native Russian speakers, to be conducted in the Ukrainian dialect. Imagine, a law in Canada - in Quebec or Montreal - requiring all transactions between native French speakers (many who do not understand English) to be conducted in English at the threat of arrest. And that's exactly what the guy who made this video did. He gives the address and name of the business at the end of the video to report a crime to the Ukrainian gestapo.

Now, unlike French and English, Russians and Ukrainians can understand each other for the most part (like Spanish and Portuguese). In fact, the so-called "Ukrainian dialect" is really kinda like "hillbilly English" even spoken in rural areas and villages in Russia. It's just less sophisticated, with a smaller vocabulary, than the Russian that cosmopolitan city-slickers in Moscow and St. Peterburg speak. It has to borrow from Russian words, phrases, and idioms beyond its 50,000 word vocabulary (Russian, like English, is fully developed with a 400,000 word vocabulary). So the idea or concept of a "Ukrainian language" really is based on false pretenses, of which they are trying to build a Gemeinshaft at gunpoint. Let me give my personal sentiments on DeSantis - I love the guy. But the attacks on Trump, or contrasts with Trump, anger me. Now I'm not one to let emotion get in the way of my personal political assessments. And my personal assessments differ widely from typical voters: I do it on two levels: (1) an overall assessment as to what is best for the country and the planet, and (2) what is my own personal reaction, biases, prejudices, and what's best for me (IOWs, what's best for me may be in conflict with what's best for the country and planet, and I don't pretend that my personal interests are in line with or in sync with the overall best interests of everybody else).

So, at an emotional level, I can only react with anger when I see Trump and DeSantis name in the same sentence. Now I'm not like everybody else - GOP voters, Dems, or ordinary citizens of planet earth. I somewhat believe that I can attempt to remove my emotional biases and prejudices when making rational judgements - but I have little to no confidence that my fellow citizens of the country or planet earth even attempt to do so or think about such things (yes, there are a handful of sane people remaining on planet earth, but I've probably personally met maybe a half dozen in the past 10 years or so).

So I get angry. So what? I can overcome it. I have no confidence most other Trump backers, who are in excess of 60% of the GOP nationwide, will even attempt to do it.
