The Democrats are counting on Trump being reputationally damaged by a guilty verdict on the Washington, D.C. court case on J6 which favors Democrats because juries in this liberal district are Democrats and anti-Trump. I think the odds of Biden dying this year is greater than him dropping out of the race. The longer he is president, the less likely it is that he will face criminal charges. If Trump wins, Trump may go after the jugular when it comes to Biden so Biden and/or his family members could wind up in prison. So far I think I have given the most reasonable view about the Jews/Talmud that is somewhere between Dianne3000/Telling and NishantXavier. Given that I have read the Old Testament through, took took two classes related to the Nazis/Holocaust, worked for Jewish organization as their token gentile, and worked for a Jewish owned firm, this is not surprising.

With the above being said, it appears as if the Talmud is a mixed bag of truth/error and I believe that the Jews made a mistake on having an overemphasis on the Talmud and not enough emphasis on the Torah, the Old Testament prophets and the Old Testament. And being a Christian, I believe that Jesus was the Messiah, the trinity, and the divine inspiration of the New Testament books. Being a non-Catholic Christian, I think the Catholics put too much emphasis on the proclamations of Popes who are also a mixed bag of truth/error. So the Jews are not alone on putting too much reliance on man and not enough on God.

And being that the Jews have suffered under authoritarian regimes and are educated go getters, it does not surprise me that American Jews are often liberals who embrace liberal democracy (For example, American college educated people tend to be Democrats today). Also, as far as some Jews embracing atheism/Marxism, it is part rebellion against God and partly and errant anger at God for allowing the persecution of the Jews. When you abandon God like many leftists there is the danger of following ungodly, utopian, ideologies like Marxism. And unfortunately, the ADL is liberal/leftist in its ideology.

DeSantis runs 2nd in Iowa and Haley has a chance to run 2nd in NH. If Desantis takes 2nd in NH, it's a two man race until Trump has enough delegates. If Haley survives NH, the Haley-DeSantis contest goes into overtime.

An important factor is fundraising. If either DeSantis or Haley appear to have done less than expected, fundraising dries up. By contrast, if Haley does better than expected in Iowa (not likely) or NH (a long shot), then the money starts poring into Haley's coffers, and away from DeSantis to his detriment.

More on money in campaigns: What many people don't understand is, many campaigns run hand to mouth (due to current campaign finance laws). Candidates spend the entirety of 2023 raising money which ALL gets spent in Iowa. If they fail to meet that mark, they drop out (like Christie just did, or Kamala did in December 2019. She famously said in the fall of 2019, "I'm moving to Iowa", meaning she bet the farm of her whole campaign war chest on Iowa, and didn't even last that long).

Each primary win gives a boost in fundraising for the next primary contest. Most candidates literally live hand to mouth. This is why Trump predicts DeSantis to drop out if he fails to win, or do less than expected. Christie was running on gas fumes.

DeSantis has 1700 precinct captains. Assuming each captain is able to mobilize even 50 voters, that's 85,000. Assuming 170,000 total voters, hitting 85,000 and 50% as a percentage is in no wise impossible. DeSantis has far better chances than the Lib Media is telling you.

It's Trump all the way down in Iowa. With 99 percent of the vote counted, its Trump 51% (20 delegates), DeSantis 21% (8 delegates), Haley 19% (7 delegates), and Ramaswamy 8% (3 delegates), according to RCP. Biden has a net favorable rating of -17 while Trump has -15. When the winners are this unpopular, there's something wrong with the election system. Perhaps a nonpartisan primary with the top two candidates going on to the general election would help.

It could be worse. William Lai, Taiwan's newly elected president, is also super-unpopular. He got only 40 percent of the vote in Saturday's election. Fortunately the Chinese military is too corrupt to do anything about it. Water-filled rockets, anyone?

Trump is only going to be in office 4 more years if he runs. The most pernicious thing dividing America culturally is leftist/liberals taking over academia and indoctrinating students. That needs to be addressed because it is a root problem. 61.8% of high school (or equivalent) graduates go on to post-secondary study.[17] Conservatives/Republicans have to get more serious via school choice and cutting off loans to college majors that offer a low return on investment to students in terms of employability and are often liberal indoctrination (Women's studies, etc.) and paring down the amount of required courses (There is no reason why an engineer needs to take liberal/leftist fluff courses). They also need to pare down frivolous spending by colleges (Top heavy administration costs, lavish facilities). Colleges need to focus on core competencies and be more spartan.

Also, I know of a clergman who visits relatives in a red state and his relatives have a messianic view of Trump and that he is going to solve all their problems. The clergyman pointed out that Trump is not going to solve all their problems. For example, his morbidly obese relatives in that red state are still going to be obese if Trump wins. As you may recall, it was this way of thinking that made it possible for neocons like Bolton and Pompeo to infiltrate Trump's first administration and destroy it from within.
