Talk:Conservative of the Year 2025

From Conservapedia
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Andy,

Several years ago I nominated Col. Douglas Macgregor for Conservative of the Year. User:Conservative used my nomination to engage in a months and years long series of personal attacks against me (mens rea) on talk pages and in Essay space. All Conservapedia editors saw user:Conservative's trolling as a disincentive to participate in joint projects such as making nominations for Conservative of the Year. User:Conservative's conduct remains unaddressed. RobSZelensky Must Go! 15:24, August 6, 2025 (EDT)

So then User:Conservative calls me to tell me he wanted to solicit Col. Macgregor to become an SEO consultant for Macgregor's new grassroots conservative organization, Our Country Our Choice (with the usual narcissistic spiel about what a brilliant genius he himself is, etc.) I asked what was going to happen when Macgregor runs a background check and discovers all the globalist and neo-nazi crap User:Conservative has added to Conservapedia? He hasn't mentioned Macgregor since.

But the bottom line is, his intimidation tactics via personal attacks and abuse of Essay space have disincentivized editors from participating in the Conservapedia project. RobSZelensky Must Go! 18:27, August 6, 2025 (EDT)

This was the danger in allowing an Admin to personally target another Admin & editors with malicious personal attacks - it killed any spirit of collaboration. RobSRecovering Republican 06:50, December 9, 2025 (EST)

Don't be surprised about the lack of participation, Anything you say here can and will be used against you. Conservapedia needs reform, and then enforcement, of its basic anti-trolling and anti-spamming provisions. RobSRecovering Republican 00:46, December 15, 2025 (EST)

Years of User:Conservative's trolling and personal attacks has killed any spirit of collaboration and taken all the fun out of wiki editing. Andy, why did you allow him to do it? RobSRecovering Republican 06:35, December 18, 2025 (EST)
Pot calling the kettle black, anyone? Rob, You've worked tirelessly to drive away editors you disagree with. We could make a list of those easily enough. But which ones has Conservative driven away?--DavidB4 (TALK) 03:38, December 26, 2025 (EST)
Dozens - the ones Karajou didn't block. Don't blame me for the damage those two have done. From the beginning, I have asked for policy discussions, and have only been slandered as a "liberal" for doing so.
The only ones I've driven away (without blocking, mind you) are rattrolls - they don't want to mess with me. Cons & Karajou just kept baiting them, daily, in a stupid game of cat n mouse. We haven't a single vandal attack in years now. RobSRecovering Republican 04:10, December 26, 2025 (EST)
We haven't had a vandal attack, because Andy blocked all user registration. Now they can't attack the site, but we die from attrition, instead. --DavidB4 (TALK) 06:20, December 26, 2025 (EST)
But they still have access with dozens and hundreds of sockpuppets. Blocking registration prevented new sockpuppet creation; it didn't drive them out. The socks are still here, like yourself, behave themselves for the most part. RobSRecovering Republican 11:17, December 26, 2025 (EST)

A policy question

DavidB4: Let me ask you a policy question: Should it be considered acceptable conduct to harass, troll, and slander an editor, six months later and ongoing for years, because they made a nomination on this page? Answer the policy question without making a personal remark or questioning the motives of another editor. RobSRecovering Republican 04:31, December 26, 2025 (EST)

The facts in this particular case are quite different (and more complex) than what you have said, but I will play your game only for a moment. If your version of this story was complete and correct, then no, that would not be appropriate. I've seen both of you violating established policy. In a mud slinging contest, no one comes out clean. But you started this, not him. He was respectful to you, until you were disrespectful to him. --DavidB4 (TALK) 06:20, December 26, 2025 (EST)
Can't answer a simple policy question without personal references or questioning motives. OK. My case is closed. RobSRecovering Republican 11:09, December 26, 2025 (EST)

Nope, I did not start this

The record bares me out. RobSRecovering Republican 11:10, December 26, 2025 (EST)

Remaining silent in the midst of personal attacks leads to de-sysopping. That precedent was set in 2011. RobSRecovering Republican 11:12, December 26, 2025 (EST)

Conservapedia is not a cult of personality, and Conservapedia should stop treating it as such

Neither is the MAGA movement a cult of personality. RobSZelensky Must Go! 16:58, October 21, 2025 (EDT)

Milei

It's not "real action" if it requires an American bailout. RobSZelensky Must Go! 17:49, October 29, 2025 (EDT)

Charlie Kirk

My vote goes to Charlie Kirk, and I don't consider it especially close. It's a shame we lost such a patriot to the United States. --Joshua Zambrano (talk) 00:48, November 30, 2025 (EST)

Charlie Kirk is the obvious choice. He's unlikely to comeback and embarrass Conservapedia like John Kasich, Tom Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene. or John Bolton. RobSRecovering Republican 13:07, December 8, 2025 (EST)
Massie most certainly hasn't been an embarrassment to real conservatives. MTG maybe, Bolton and Kasich definitely.--Geopolitician (talk) 21:30, December 16, 2025 (EST)
It would be a travesty if Kirk doesn't win. He gave up his life for the cause. Who else on this list did that?--Geopolitician (talk) 21:29, December 16, 2025 (EST)

my nomination proposals

I want to nominate those people also:

  • Chaya Raichik for her efforts to reveal lunacy of liberals at her Libs of TikTok account and for her activism to punish psycopaths who celebrated Charlie Kirk murder
  • Marco Rubio for his efforts in foreign policy, and deporting terrorists and their sympathizers from country
  • Tom Homan for his efforts of mass deportations of criminals and illegal aliens
  • Sean Duffy for ensuring safety in roads of country and standing against Gavin Newscum standards of driver licenses
  • Riley Gaines for her efforts to ban transgenders in women that was finally signed by Trump
  • Erika Kirk for successful managing of TPUSA after murder of her husband and receiving historic memberships to organization
  • Tommy Robinson for leading biggest conservative and Christian march in England
  • Steve Federico who is the father of victim Logan Federico, for exposing liberal soft on crime policy and humiliating democrats for it inside Congress
  • JK Rowling for years being humiliated by liberals for standing transgenders policies
  • DaBaby for releasing song to honor Iryna Zarutska
  • Nicki Minaj, for her activist efforts to defend Christians of Nigeria
  • Arnold Schwarzenegger, for standing against Newsome gerrmander redisricting

with those candidates, Charlie Kirk is most one who deserve to win this year --Alex Kosh (talk) 17:35, December 1, 2025 (EST)

Foreign Leaders

We need to take a deep look to see if it is worth including certain foreign leaders. Yes, they may be conservative on domestic issues. But the real question is, do they advance or oppose the agendas which American neoconservatives have for their respective countries? If they do, then their domestic political positions are no longer relevant. They serve the enemies of the American people, and thus do not deserve any sort of positive recognition whatsoever. In fact, they should be condemned for their hypocrisy. "Conservatism for me, but not for thee!"--Geopolitician (talk) 16:37, December 16, 2025 (EST)

Meloni and few others should be kicked out, or at least severely downgraded. RobSRecovering Republican 16:50, December 16, 2025 (EST)
Here are my exact opinions on the ones currently on the page:
  • Bukele- Downgrade. He isn't an ideological conservative, nor is he known for pursuing conservative initiatives beyond being tough on crime.
  • Kast- Remove. His admiration for Bolsonaro, Milei, and Pinochet is a strong indicator that he will govern as a CIA puppet.
  • Listhaug- Remove. Any right-wing populist who still supports Israel enough to want to move their country's embassy to Jerusalem is at this point a useful idiot or worse.
  • Machado- Remove. She's glowing bright and isn't even trying to hide it.
  • Meloni- Remove. She's sold out her voter base to such a degree that it would make more sense to nominate her for RINO of the Year, not Conservative of the Year.
  • Milei- Remove. He's a CIA puppet, and isn't even governing as the fiscal libertarian he claimed to be.
  • Nawrocki- Remove. He's a massive Russophobe, and has even implied that Russia's existence as a nation-state is a wrong which must be corrected.
  • Takaichi- Not sure. It's currently unclear how hawkish she really is on Taiwan. --Geopolitician (talk) 21:25, December 16, 2025 (EST)
Machado & Takaiche are fairly obviously CIA puppets. Meloni probably isn't but her neocon tendencies are either real, or more probably just a lack of backbone & courage and just a desire to go along rather than join Orban & Fico. RobSRecovering Republican 22:38, December 16, 2025 (EST)
By awarding its peace prize to Trump’s favorite Venezuelan opposition figure, pro-war coup plotter Maria Corina Machado, the Nobel Committee contravened the principles enshrined in its founding documents, as well as Swedish law. RobSRecovering Republican 09:44, December 17, 2025 (EST)

On leadership

The whole thing is worth reading. [1] Excerpt:

"But the current era’s crop of ‘leaders’ have dropped all pretexts of charm and magnetism to become de facto cardboard cutouts for corporate interests and oligarchic influence—mouth pieces and empty voice boxes merely transcribing manifestos on behalf of their paymasters....Today, the hyper-connected financialized globalism of our age has created a vast matrix of manipulation that has normalized the dilution of both meritocracy and genuine political and democratic processes to the point where modern leaders are no longer elected by the dint of their personal courage, magnetism, or accomplishments, but rather selected by corporate special interests on the basis of their servility."

The point is, we should be wary of creating the impression some foreign leaders are "democratically elected" by a foreign "conservative populist" movement. "Democracy" doesn't work anymore. Least of all, as has been proven with the Biden Putsch, in the United States. RobSRecovering Republican 12:52, December 21, 2025 (EST)

Interesting point!--Andy Schlafly (talk) 13:08, December 21, 2025 (EST)
Your analysis of the right-leaning foreign leaders seems overly negative but I haven't studied their records in detail. Often a conservative candidate does become more liberal once elected, to pandering to the liberal media.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 13:43, December 21, 2025 (EST)
Read the Simplicius piece above (it's not long). "Germany’s Friedrich “BlackRock” Merz, Canada’s Mark “Goldman Sachs” Carney, France’s Emmanuel “Rothschild” Macron, and many others." Others include Kaja Kallas, Starmer, Truss, Sunak, Boris Johnson, etc. Meloni, for instance, is not a "conservative" in her world view outside of domestic politics, as was Scholz. I haven't studied it, but many Latin American leaders appear to be picked from outside, and not really "democratically" elected. RobSRecovering Republican 14:06, December 21, 2025 (EST)

If this is you proposing that she be nominated for Conservative of the Year, I second it. Yes, I also nominated her for RINO of the Year, but that's pending on whether she goes through with her resignation. Without that factor, she should be a strong contender for runner-up for Conservative of the Year (the winner obviously being Charlie Kirk).--Geopolitician (talk) 10:15, December 18, 2025 (EST)
You know what, we should add Rand Paul as well. Massie is already nominated so no point in seconding that.--Geopolitician (talk) 10:15, December 18, 2025 (EST)
Actually, it was a mistake I meant to post it on the RINO page. RobSRecovering Republican 11:30, December 18, 2025 (EST)

My nominees for No.1, 2, 3 & 4

Paxton has been a solid nominee for 3 years running; perhaps next year if he can knock off Cornyn. RobSRecovering Republican 00:39, December 19, 2025 (EST)

IMHO...(1) Kirk, (2) Machado, (3) Robinson (sacrifices...)

IMHO:

  • #1 Charlie Kirk

Andy, why do you let this troll continue to kill any spirit of collaboration? RobSRecovering Republican 14:33, December 21, 2025 (EST)
Charlie Kirk is a martyr and a hero, but his life was tragically cut short. I think he'd be great at #2 or #3. Meloni campaigned as a conservative but I'm not sure she's governing as conservative as she ran.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 15:50, December 21, 2025 (EST)
Andy, as you can see, User:Conservative has done it again - discouraged collaboration and participation in what is supposed to be a fun community project with his intimidation and trolling. The man is sick.
Other editors see his trolling, and that's how they get intimidated to refrain from participation. They do not want themselves to become the target of his endless trolling. In his own words, "the reasons that I know I am alive" is by targeting and harassing people he meets on the internet. You really are only encouraging him by refusing to take action. RobSRecovering Republican 20:54, December 21, 2025 (EST)
Andy, who do you think should be #1, then?--Geopolitician (talk) 22:04, December 21, 2025 (EST)

Redundant spam

As of December 22, 2025, there are zero Russians nominated for Conservapedia's Conservative of the Year 2025 out of 58 nominees. Russia is not a conservative country.

Vladimir Putin, who raised taxes on Russians to pay for his imperialistic war and has caused high war-related inflation in Russia is certain not conservative. And its not conservative that those who oppose him are pushed out of windows.

Bottom line: [https://archive.ph/CDmqP Russia is not conservative country].

Russia is a declining power and it will only get weaker with time. Russia has a declining population, very low church attendance, a very high divorce rate, an AIDS epidemic and a high level of alcoholism. 20% of Russia doesn't have indoor plumbing. My Vote

Charlie Kirk is my #1. I can't contemplate voting for anyone else. Thomas Massie is my #2. Tucker Carlson is my #3.

As for the rest, the most important issues should be their stances on foreign policy (especially Israel), and the Epstein situation. The neocons, Zionists, and supporters of cover-up need to be demoted or removed. The non-interventionists, anti-Zionists, and supporters of transparency need to be promoted.--Geopolitician (talk) 22:12, December 21, 2025 (EST)

I just noticed four of the nine people in the very top tier (Machado, Meloni, Nawrocki, and Takaichi) are foreign leaders who are either useful idiots for the CIA or ideological neocons. They need to be removed. They do not belong anywhere on this list. --Geopolitician (talk) 22:19, December 21, 2025 (EST)
You went into trouble. Desperate to mention twice. Also isr. And also the Z word.

LOL..predictable. Then you conflate your favorite old word "neocon.". As if we are in 2003. Don't you want to realize the hawks against Russia are not always pro Isr.? (See examples: Representative Ayanna Pressley D-MA; The Progressive Caucus [Select Members]; Senator Chris Van Hollen D-MD. Or, What is the position of the entire MS NOW station?? Especially the Islamic Ali Velshi and Palestine Islamic Ayman Mohyeldin. Or how about all top Sunday news anchors: Margaret Brennan, Kristen Welker, George Stephanopoulos?Dianne3000 (talk) 23:32, December 23, 2025 (EST)

Careful. I was called a "liberal" (see Dogwhistle) and "useful idiot", ultimately de-sysopped in 2011 for listing "Neoconservativism" on the CPOV page. If you stick to discussing gay bathhouses and outhouses, you should have no problem. RobSRecovering Republican 21:59, December 23, 2025 (EST)
Agreed. They are unqualified. Tommy Robinson belongs in Very Top before any of them. RobSRecovering Republican 22:39, December 21, 2025 (EST)
All four of the foreign leaders are social conservatives. Social issues matter, too.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 00:16, December 22, 2025 (EST)
Well yes. As heads of state or heads of government, they should be well rounded with a total perspective on their national interests, including on foreign policy (many national leaders are weak in this area). Otherwise, they should be downgraded. There's no shortage of alternative nominees who can move up. RobSRecovering Republican 00:47, December 22, 2025 (EST)
Simple solution: Replace Machado, Meloni, Nawrocki, and Takaichi with Tina Peters, Dhillon, Anna Paulina Luna, Tim Burchett (rising star), Ken Paxton (next year, hopefully). RobSRecovering Republican 13:05, December 22, 2025 (EST)

Kirk

While it's regrettable that he didn't rank higher on these awards while still living, I agree...Charlie Kirk is my #1 choice as well. Most of higher education is just one big echo chamber, stirring around the same hateful, deceptive communist slop. Someone willing to go into that environment in a friendly and open way, and to plant seeds or truth despite the fierce opposition, is a winner in my book. --DavidB4 (TALK) 03:38, December 26, 2025 (EST)

Joseph Ladapo should NOT be ranked higher than Charlie Kirk

First off, I would bet most conservatives don't even know who Ladapo is or what his contributions are. And second, Ladapo works for Ron DeSantis. Ranking him as #1 would enable the DeSantisites, many who would love to see Charlie Kirk snubbed. Because the truth is, they hate Kirk for "betraying" their "Dear Leader" during the 2024 campaign, and also for wavering on Israel near the end. And behind closed doors, I would bet a good number of the most prominent ones secretly celebrated when Kirk was shot. That's how much those neocon degenerates hate him. They hate him just as much if nor more than the radical left does. Now, going back to Ladapo. He endorsed DeSantis in 2024. It's possible he may have done that only out of deference to his boss, but again. We don't know much about this guy. How do we know he isn't a DeSantisite? A neocon degenerate who is secretly glad that Charlie Kirk is dead? Is this who we want as our Conservative of the Year?--Geopolitician (talk) 13:24, December 30, 2025 (EST)
