The United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement, commonly referred to as USMCA, is a new trade agreement which is intended to replace NAFTA. The USMCA includes new protections for intellectual property and for farmers.
The deal has been praised by The Gateway Pundit,[1][2][3] but The New American, another conservative publication, has called it a globalist deal worse than NAFTA which will result in the formation of a "North American Union" similar to the European Union in Europe.[4][5][6]
RINOs have criticized the USMCA for their separate reasons,[7][8] along with leftists.[9][10][11] But even some on the left have praised the deal,[12][13][14] and Mexico's left-wing populist President has urged Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats to pass the deal,[15] which they did in December 2019.[16]
