Criminal charges for Ray Epps?

Ray Epps's participation in the January 6 demonstrations was both more prominent and better documented than that of anyone else. Hundreds of other participants were charged and convicted, but not Epps. Is the DOJ charging him now to help him with his lawsuit against Fox?
"The theories surrounding that have led Epps to file a lawsuit against Fox News, claiming that he was defamed by Tucker Carlson. In a shocking turn of events, though, the lawsuit claims, as part of its case, that the DOJ has notified Epps that they will be seeking criminal charges against him," according to Red State.
The lawsuit would give Fox's legal team the opportunity do discovery and see if they can find out who Epps really works for. Somehow, I doubt they will take advantage of it. Fox agreed to pay Dominion a preposterous amount of money in damages not long ago, so it seems that their legal strategy is to roll over in the face of lawsuits supported by the establishment left. PeterKa (talk) 22:44, July 12, 2023 (EDT)

If he drops the suit, that might be the end of it. Fox might even pay him $50 for his troubles. RobSGive Peace a chance 22:52, July 12, 2023 (EDT)
The MSM has tentatively begun subjecting the Biden family to scrutiny, but Epps remains a holy of holies. He was just a regular Trump-loving J6er who somehow got caught up in the Tucker Carlson smear machine, according to this preposterous article in today's Washington Post. As a student of the MSM, I can tell you that WaPo would never give Epps favorable coverage if they thought for a moment that he was a sincere Trump supporter. RFK Jr is not an anti-Semite

The media is filled with wall-to-wall denunciations of RFK's supposed anti-Semitism. He claimed that the covid virus was “ethnically targeted” to spare Chinese and Jews. This is most likely a misunderstanding of a scientific study that he read, or so says Ben Shapiro. The man has spent his whole life providing no indication that he is in any way anti-Semitic. Now he is best-known for this incident. Its a dirty media attack modeled on the post-Charlottesville attacks on Trump's supposed pro-Nazi stance. We all say dumb things from time to time, don't we? An out-of-control media is twisting innocent comments back on its targets. PeterKa (talk) 21:59, July 18, 2023 (EDT)

Thoroughly disgusting, and it started in the Biden White House. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 22:18, July 18, 2023 (EDT)
RFK lost his father to Palestinian terrorism. This is what the New York Times thinks of him nowadays: "Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Airs Bigoted New Covid Conspiracy Theory About Jews and Chinese." PeterKa (talk) 22:52, July 18, 2023 (EDT)
If he wanted to say that it just so happened that it targeted one group over another (nevermind the facts of thousands of Jews of all backgrounds that died of covid) but not that it was intentionally programmed by humans maliciously.... We can still all agree, that he wasn't careful to the dsensitivity of the most victimized group past present as a result of conspiracy theories... as tools for hate and genocide.Telling (talk) 00:04, July 19, 2023 (EDT)

Nobody cares whether RFK is anti-Semitic or not -- or about any of his other opinions for that matter. He's crime is running against Biden in the primaries.
RFK gave a great speech about his uncle's negotiations with Khrushchev (the adults told him not to touch the hotline phone), the need for peace, and the war in Ukraine. He can keep the conspiracy demon at bay when he needs to. PeterKa (talk) 00:54, July 21, 2023 (EDT)

What is the Pentagon's "foundational sacred obligation"?

Did you think that the military was there to defend the United States and its constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic? Ha ha, the joke's on you. "Female family members being able to count on the kinds of healthcare, reproductive care specifically, that they need to serve, that is a foundational sacred obligation of military," according to White House spokesman John Kirby. The woke gods demand human sacrifice. Military facilities are banned from providing abortions under a law enacted in 1984. In the Biden era, that doesn't seem to slow them down. Sundance's latest

On the domestic front, excerpted: [2]

"The term ‘continuity of government‘ became much more common in the aftermath of 9-11-01 and the thunder shock of an al-Qaeda inspired terrorist attack in New York and Washington DC.

Within the very brief discussion period that led up to the 10-26-01 Patriot Act, literally a structural reform of the entire domestic terrorist apparatus that created the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA), a bill only debated for a few weeks, the baseline was the enhanced ‘continuity of government‘ in the event of an emergency.

...the outcome of the Patriot Act was to create a system where every American was now viewed by our federal government through the prism of the citizen being a potential terrorist threat. The federal government aligned all of our institutions and systems accordingly.

DHS was created to monitor American behavior, the TSA was created to scan American travelers, and the FBI was enhanced with resources to conduct surveillance despite our Fourth Amendment protections within our constitution. Instead of the U.S. govt protecting U.S. citizens from foreign threats, the Patriot Act change the mission of government to protect itself from potential citizen threats.

In essence, We the People became the suspects, and all of the constitutional viewpoints within the FBI and Dept. of Justice were modified to create monitoring systems.

The legislative branch was considered part of a this newly protected elite class of Americans, and the judicial branch deferred all scrutiny to the executive as long as they claimed, ‘national security.’ The secret FISA court system would grant the agents surveillance power over U.S. citizens.

As the foundation of this new surveillance state was just being finalized, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Eric Holder then entered government via the 2008 election, and weaponized this system to target their domestic political opposition....

...it was the viewpoint of a very specific type of government “continuity” that led to the opposition against Donald Trump by democrats and republicans.

Trump would be a disruptive influence if introduced into a continuation mission that did not like change. This ‘continuity’ mindset then established the justification for every institution and element of the bureaucracy, including almost all layers of the people who run them, to oppose Donald Trump.

By the time the 2016 election arrives, We the People had already been defined by the Patriot Act outcome as a threat to government. If we the people did not select the right kind of candidate who would be approved by the continuity system, then our selection would be rejected by all of the operators of that administrative system....

Jake Driezin's latest

On the foreign policy front, excerpted: [3]

"In short, a Hegemon is a mob boss. You might be on his “soft side”, if he likes you, but he’s still the boss, with his fingers in every worthwhile pie in the borough. And, the boss DEFENDS HIS TURF.

But, WHY? Why is maintaining Hegemony so important???

At the Government level, Hegemony provides for countless “job justifications”, career improvement prospects, bureaucratic “turf”, ego trip and legacy-building opportunities, sweet gigs and contracts for useless offspring (e.g. Biden’s and Kerry’s sons), etc. “Hegemony” means having Uncle Sam’s fingers EVERYWHERE… and that’s A LOT of jobs, and A LOT of budgets.

At the private-sector level (i.e. for the “Daddy Warbucks” crowd), being bound “to protect our friends and allies against X country”, is, of course, extremely LUCRATIVE. We’re talking, tens of billions of dollars just to produce PowerPoints about weapons that never even make it to the prototype stage. Likewise, Washington, DC-area contractors getting paid millions of dollars to print and distribute kindergarten-level pamphlets about “democracy“, or to run Facebook pages or Twitter accounts to hype up protests in Iran or Belarus. It’s A LOT of money. (And, of course, there’s the famous “REVOLVING DOOR” between the civilian and military bureaucracy on the one hand, and the private sector as well as the nonprofits—thinktanks, the National Democratic Institute, etc.—on the other.) You with me, so far?

Now, where is the “peace lobby”? Where is the lobby for non-intervention? THERE IS NONE. There’s no money in it. And, “peace” and “anti-imperialism” don’t turn people on, like abortion, getting Trump, or whatever.

These concepts DID turn people on, at a mass level, in the late 1960s, through the 1980s. But, no longer. Most of those leftists are dead or co-opted. Just look at “AOC.” Retire your Grateful Dead T-shirts, those days are gone! Even the Democrat media that opposed the Vietnam War (only under Nixon, of course), now labels any dissident as radioactive, a Putin stooge. (As I’ve mentioned, we’re at a WW1 or WW2 level of propaganda.)

Now, although the average household would be HUGELY harmed by a U.S.-China war (through extreme shortages of goods to include BASIC MEDICINES, etc., and I’m not even talking about nuclear war) that threat seems distant, vague, and doesn’t motivate working stiffs, or their save-the-world brats, or industry groups, or BILLIONAIRE POLITICAL DONORS.

So, you have this interest group, that has NO CHECK OR BALANCE. It’s like some new species of algae, which chokes off a pond. It’s not like the “fossil fuels vs. renewables” battle, where even Team Biden might lay off the oil guys, when gasoline gets too expensive. It’s not “importers vs. domestic manufacturers”, however lopsided that one is. Here, there is NO OTHER SIDE. It’s like an amoeba-blob, that just keeps growing… and growing… and growing. It perceives no limit. It is funded by hypothetically-unlimited deficit spending of “global reserve currency” dollars. It doesn’t care what voters think. It doesn’t even care what politicians think. The normal, usual brakes, systemic feedback… ARE NOT THERE!!! Even worse, journalists, staff and Members of Congress, and presidential candidates, now understand they will be, literally, SPIED ON, if they threaten to restrict this blob in any way other than STRICTLY RHETORICAL. (“Dissident” journalists even get stopped at airports, nowadays.) No one wants to be another Trump, let alone, another Kennedy...

Biden allegations pile up

Will any of the latest scandals slow the Biden crime machine down? "Five most significant allegations against the Bidens in FBI FD-1023 form." We do get a juicy detail. Burisma boss Zlochevsky noted that Hunter was dumber than his dog. Hunter is the smartest guy Joe knows, remember? Zlochevsky's dog for president! We already have Joe's videotaped confession to the Viktor Shokin firing. I would thought that was a game-stopper, but somehow the fortunes of the Biden family march on. Bribery and scandal is Joe's brand. PeterKa (talk) 06:08, July 22, 2023 (EDT)

This stuff is so routine in DC, with Senators and House member's family and kids receiving kickbacks from appropriated funds, you can tell by the lack of reaction from members, bureaucrats, and journalists. They are bored stiff. The people to who this is news is the American people.
It was the same with the Clinton Foundation. Hillary pushed the "Russian Reset", rammed the Uranium One deal past Robert Mueller and CFIUS, took a $175 million commission from the sellers (Bill got a $500,000 commission from Putin and the buyers), and went back to being a Russophobe. Meanwhile, after the Russians purchased Uranium One fairly and squarely in the global capitalist free market, Obama & McCain steal it back with Russian sanctions. No wonder the Russians don't believe a word coming out of the mouth of American officials. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 09:47, July 22, 2023 (EDT)

Didn't Biden have a dog that died a year ago or so who also bit Secret Service agents?

Biden needs to show results before the New Hampshire primary in January. Ukraine will get the Abrams tank in September and the F-16 by the end of the year, just in time to defeat RFK Jr. PeterKa (talk) 21:28, July 27, 2023 (EDT)
(a) it won't go that far; (b) the first F-16 that crosses into Ukraine airspace means Polish airstrips & Ramstein get nuked, or at least hit with Kinzhals and Iskanders (this is why US involvement won't last until Feb 2024); (c) the only alternate scenario is the Russo-Polish war (Poland has reserved some ammo and equipment for itself, but the US has run out and can't help. Poland does have manpower however, that can be fed into the meatgrinder since the Ukrainians are running out). RobSGive Peace a Chance! 22:29, July 27, 2023 (EDT)
Note on manpower needs: Ukraine entered the 2022 conflict with the largest standing military and reserves in Europe. Its army was larger than France, Germany, and the United Kingdom combined. They are all dead now. Ukraine is rebuilding its army for the fourth time in this conflict now, with the average age being 37, with no prior military training or experience. And it doesn't have the combat-experienced officers either to rebuild with.
Note on Poland: Poland's dreams of empire have to get past the voters first in the October 2023 elections, assuming the globalists won't rig that election, either. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 00:25, July 28, 2023 (EDT)
Polish update: Being that Planet Earth knows the Wagner group is a rogue outfit outside Moscow's control, if the Wagner group were to invade Poland, NATO cannot legally justify invoking Article 5 against Russia. Wagner will easily take the NATO base at Rzeszow in Poland.
Biden would have to invoke the Bush Doctrine against Belarus, by the precedent of holding the Taliban responsible for harboring Al Qaeda. Of course an attack against Belarus is an attack against all 85 constituent republics of the Russian Federation.
It's a game of chicken; let a NATO member state kill a single Wagner fighter or Belarussian soldier on Belarussian territory from a NATO member states' territory, and see what happens. This scenario will likely play out once fighting between Wagner & Polish "peacekeepers" commence in Western Ukraine (and we won't even go into false flag scenarios). AI in drone warfare

For the first time in warfare, in Bradley Square, we are seeing drones equipped with artificial intelligence seeking out and choosing for themselves which targets to destroy. [10] The era of "precision guided" munitions is past. I'm sure AI robotic warfare is a relief to a lot of people's conscience. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 18:12, July 27, 2023 (EDT)

Background: Russia entered the war with basically only one drone design, the Orlan, which looks like a hobby model available at any hobby shop. Each artillery unit had an Orlan for spotting and correcting (which the US and NATO does not have) and proved very effective. Russia acquired the Lancet (or Geranium) design from Iranian Shaid drone. It has proven extremely cost-effective. Russia is now building 1 million Lancets.
IMO, one motive behind NATO's provoking Russia to war is to discover more about its electronic warfare and other advanced technologies. It needs this, if the US really is intent on provoking the Taiwan crisis. The US needs to know how to defeat the S-400 and S-500, seeing that Russia would share that technology with China if the Taiwan provocation plays out. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 23:38, July 27, 2023 (EDT)
IOWs, while the US is said to have "air superiority", Russia is generally recognized as having the most advanced and superior missile defense systems on the planet (a jet aircraft is also a "missile"). Before spending more money on more advanced US aircraft, the US wants to force Russia's hand to lay some of its cards on the table about its missile defense systems, rather than US designers having to rely on guess work. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 23:55, July 27, 2023 (EDT)
The German Leopard 2 tank, the supposed most advanced tank on the planet, is a good example of relying on guess work in its design. Of course, you don't really know how effective a weapon is going to be - no matter how much money you put into the project - until it is combat tested. The Leopard fails. Dems step up prosecution of Trump

Back in March, the idea of prosecuting a former president was considered a huge norm-buster, a violation of over two centuries of tradition. Using the legal system to take out political opposition was downright undemocratic. Now there are so many cases pending against Donald Trump that we need a "definitive guide" to keep track of them. The classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, the Stormy Daniels payoff, the phone call to the Georgia secretary of state, and Trump's role in the January 6th demonstration are all going to court, according to "target letters" issued by the relevant prosecutors.

If the Democrats are confident that Joe Biden can defeat Trump, why do they want him out of the race so badly? My theory is that Biden knows that he's not getting a second term, either for undisclosed health reasons or because of the Hunter Biden bribery scandal. He wants credit for removing Trump from U.S. politics to "finish the job," as he phrases it. Prosecuting Trump is the closest thing Biden has to a popular policy. Attacking the democratic process is thus not a matter of expediency; Its what Biden wants to be remembered for. PeterKa (talk) 09:52, July 30, 2023 (EDT)

Fortunately, we have some proven, well qualified sources covering the matter. TechnoFog is one of the best among several; he has proven himself through the Trump-Russia scam and impeachment, Mueller investigation, Durham investigation, etc. He even attends DC court hearings. For this reason, I'm not as engaged in the current Trump prosecutions and Hunter Biden problems as previously, cause we have respected, credible sources to use.
My focus is to connect the dots between Trump-Russia as the motivating factor and prelude to the Ukraine war - something all the same qualified sources say, but is a conspiracy so vast that when its true dimensions are known will forever be deserving of the maledictions of all honest men. Andrew McCarthy on the Trump indictments

Donald Trump may be flying high in the polls, but the reality is that the prosecutors and the Deep State decide. See "Out of all indictments, Georgia is the most perilous threat to Trump" by Andrew McCarthy. West scrambles to hash out details of F-16 Training for Ukraine

Say it with me. NATO Population: 1 BN, Russia: 150 MN; NATO GDP: >40 TN, Russia GDP: <2 TN. There is no way Russia can win this War.

"The scramble by the West comes as Ukraine calls for additional military capabilities to break through Russian defenses on the battlefield. And Ukraine is ramping up pressure on allies to send F-16s again this week, as Russia pulled out of a deal that allowed civilian ships to transport grain through the Black Sea; Ukraine’s foreign minister said Tuesday that the jets could help protect a corridor that is vital to global food security.

One training proposal that has been discussed involves bringing Ukrainian pilots to the United States to receive instruction from the 162nd Air Wing, an Air National Guard unit based in Tucson, Ariz., that already trains foreign partners on the F-16."

Re: MPR post of "Poll: Putin named World's Most Respected Leader."

Re: Main page right post of: Poll: Putin named World's Most Respected Leader. [11]

The actual news story's lead as far as it's first two sentences is: "In a recent online poll on Twitter X Joe Biden ended up dead last in an international poll on respected leaders. Russia’s Vladimir Putin was first with 35.6% of the vote followed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 33.7% of the vote, followed by Ukraine’s Zelensky with 21.9% of the vote."

A Twitter poll can be affected by bots. I realize that a scientifically done representational poll done by Gallup International would be more expensive, but sometimes truth comes at a steeper price.

My guess is that the wealthy countries aligned with the USA would tend to be more anti-Putin. Of course, Russia has its allies too. And then much of the global south and/or poor countries are unaligned so they are better able to negotiate for the best deals. India has been unaligned for a long time. Conservative (talk) 19:27, August 10, 2023 (EDT)

The article actually says, "Russia’s Vladimir Putin was first." Case closed. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 19:31, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
I suppose if you want easy answers that fit your views and are closed-minded it is "case closed", but otherwise one would have to spend more money. Conservative (talk) 19:35, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
I's a fact: the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Georgia State University found Vladimir Putin the world's most respected leader in its annual World of Statistics polling. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 19:41, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
Should be an eyeopener for students and young people compared to the MSM brainwashing and garbage readers like yourself routinely consume. 19:43, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
I am open to that notion, but I want a source. And the source has to agree with what you are claiming. Conservative (talk) 19:44, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
Also, the Twitter poll posted on MPR was done by the Twitter account of "World of Statistics".[12] And unfortunately, we don't know who runs that account. Conservative (talk) 19:47, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
Fortunately, we do: the Mathematics Statistics Dept of Georgia State University, which I just stated above (sorry, I know you comprehension is a little bit lagging). RobSGive Peace a Chance! 19:50, August 10, 2023 (EDT)

Furthermore, as far as a "Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Georgia State University" poll, when was it done? I ask because both sides of the war in Ukraine have engaged in war atrocities. See: Essay: Russian war crimes in Ukraine. Conservative (talk) 19:52, August 10, 2023 (EDT)

Ok. You are not giving a source as far as your alleged "Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Georgia State University" poll. I will remain a skeptic then. Conservative (talk) 19:53, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
Find it yourself.
(ec) Did you read the Consortium news piece in the Propaganda update? This section made me immediately think of you:
"Their repetition of this war propaganda slogan exploits a glitch in human cognition known as the illusory truth effect, which makes it difficult for our minds to tell the difference between the experience of hearing something many times and the experience of hearing something that’s true.}.
RobSGive Peace a Chance! 19:54, August 10, 2023 (EDT)

Anyways, the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics at Georgia State University could do a Twitter poll in good faith, but it could have been tainted by Twitter bots. Conservative (talk) 19:57, August 10, 2023 (EDT)

Also, "The accuracy of a poll depends on how it was conducted. Most of Pew Research’s polling is done by telephone. By contrast, most online polls that use participants who volunteer to take part do not have a proven record of accuracy. There are at least two reasons for this. One is that not everyone in the U.S. uses the internet, and those who do not are demographically different from the rest of the public. Another reason is that people who volunteer for polls may be different from other people in ways that could make the poll unrepresentative. At worst, online polls can be seriously biased if people who hold a particular point of view are more motivated to participate than those with a different point of view."[13] Conservative (talk) 20:02, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
The American Association for Public Opinion Research recently released a detailed report on the strengths and weaknesses of online polling. The full text of the report can be found here.Conservative (talk) 20:04, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
(ec) Sorry, you're going to have to take that up with the professional statisticians at Georgia State University.

The non-aligned countries often share a common trait: Making expedient deals. That's one of the strengths that Donald Trump had as a real estate mogul. He was a dealmaker as president. The Abraham Accords had one of its prime focuses on economic deal-making and the various country's economic interests. Biden can't hold a candle to Trump and he made the Ukraine-Russia situation much worse. Conservative (talk) 20:29, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
Interesting; but I don't see how that relates to the subject of this thread. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 20:31, August 10, 2023 (EDT)

The nonaligned countries and their citizens focus on "what have you done for me lately". Unfortunately for Russia and Ukraine, they are going to get further damaged in the war in Ukraine which may drag on for a long time. So they will have less to offer the world. Conservative (talk) 20:35, August 10, 2023 (EDT)

Still don't see how that relates...RobSGive Peace a Chance!
Oh, well. I tried to explain it to you. If you still don't get it, I can live with that. Conservative (talk) 20:51, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
Trump didn't even make the poll, and what do war atrocities have to do with the poll? RobSGive Peace a Chance! 21:03, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
Okay, I think I understand now. You associate the name "Putin" with "Trump", "Zelensky", and "war". You do not associate it with "leadership", "the Russian nation", or "Christianity". Okay. Breaking: Kupiansk front collapses

Developing. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 20:38, August 10, 2023 (EDT)

  • According to Dima of the Military Summary channel, the Russians have 100,000 troops in this sector; according Driezen, Ukraine has no reserves left here, as the Russians just broke through their second echelon. This means, the collapse in this same sector the Russians experienced last September is being reversed, and brings the Russians up to the doorstep of the city of Kharkov. However, no siege is likely yet, as some Russians forces need to head south and deal with other frontlines elsewhere from the Ukrainian rear. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 21:00, August 10, 2023 (EDT)

Ukrainian citizens are waking up. War has not been declared, so martial law and conscription is illegal under existing law.
There is nothing standing between them and Kharkov. But they'll probably break-off a large contingent south to help out at Krasny-Limon first and north to secure the border - once they finish up work at Kupiansk.
Besides, Odessa is more important to secure than Kharkov right now. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 21:59, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
Conway, I'd be interested in hearing your assessment of what remains of Ukrainian fighters; as I understand, Ukraine only has about 40,000 NATO trained/equipped troops remaining. The rest, about 160,000, are untrained/unexperienced conscripts pressed into service with an average age over 37 (many in their 50s). There is talk of another mobilization, but there's nobody left to press into service. Fully 90% of all males (say over the age of 15) will have served before the war is over. What remains have long left the country and likely will never return. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 15:19, August 11, 2023 (EDT)
Note: What Bryen says about the Wagner group returning to Russia, cited to the ISW, is false information. By law, a private military company like the Wagner group cannot operate on Russia soil, which is why they were withdrawn from Lugansk and Rostov and sent to Belarus. See also HistoryLegends, a pro-Ukraine channel. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 16:35, August 11, 2023 (EDT)
Manpower isn't an issue. Ukraine fully mobilised in Feb. 2022. Currently / nationally, they've got around a million serving in uniform (inc. support & rear / staff units) and they're still actively recruiting and forming new brigades. As long as the materiel keeps flowing, they can keep this going indefinitely and they intend to. ConwayIII (talk) 21:09, August 11, 2023 (EDT)
A million when you count the men 70+ and 15 year olds (the railway workers are considered the "hidden army"; also, now you have the mobilization of doctors and technocrats for combat duty). But we're not getting much reporting on the political situation; all the hardcore "nationalists" are dead, and their widows are pissed off. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 22:12, August 11, 2023 (EDT)
This can't keep up: Ukrainian Recruits Sent To Dig Trenches Found The Buried Corpses Of Previous Cannonfodder There. Ukraine, A Country Of Misery: How To Find More Troops For Bloodshed (machine translated). RobSGive Peace a Chance! 23:39, August 12, 2023 (EDT)
As far as I understand it now, here's what Zelensky's latest decree is suppose to do: his illegal order to grab conscripts off the street in select communities and regions has changed: he's now sending those guys (the kidnappers) to the front, and replacing them with returning veterans who lost an arm or leg. How a guy with one leg is suppose to chase a draft dodger down the street, as we've seen in countless videos, is unclear, but it's never been like he really cares anyway, so long as the DC gravy train keeps rolling. And apparently the new decree may apply nationwide, and not just in select regions and communities with Russian and Hungarian populations that the Kyiv regime (and NATO) seek to exterminate by sending draftees, pressed into service, on suicide attacks.
Reports indicate foreign mercenaries are being assigned to units to shoot in the back anyone who tries to desert or refuses to attack when ordered to do so, replacing the Nazi units which now will probably see more frontline action. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 06:24, August 13, 2023 (EDT)
The reason mercenaries have been assigned to take over the role of commissars one can only speculate, but I would guess it's because it is well known the Russians particularly target foreign mercenary groups (and have even stepped up their targeting) in both the front and rear. So evidently their numbers have been reduced, and recruiting hasn't gone so well over the past year or so. This still gives mercenaries a vital function to play, and hopefully reduces the number of foreign mercenaries deserting and returning home. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 06:45, August 13, 2023 (EDT)
Bear in mind, certain stories leaked out about the holocaust during World War II, but most people found the stories too incredible to believe and dismissed them as propaganda. It wasn't until the war was over before the truth came out, and the magnitude of government policy was understood. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 07:01, August 13, 2023 (EDT)
Do you detect a change in Ukrainian society from February 2022? The commissars themselves are now being sent to the front. This means the end is near, when the military and society itself begins to collapse. Great leadership on the part of Zelensky, NATO, and all their Western civilian backers. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 07:24, August 13, 2023 (EDT)

The decree is about getting ahead of a brewing scandal re. regional recruitment officials accepting bribes from draft dodgers. It's likely some pretty rich & powerful Ukrainians will be found to have bought their sons out of serving and - politically, at least - it makes sense to nuke the entire regional recruitment leadership and start again.

There's no wider issue re. recruitment. Sure, virtually all those inclined to volunteer have done so already, but that's just what happens in any sufficiently big war. Eventually, you have to start pressing people into service. They might not be thrilled at the prospect, but as long as they know what they're fighting for - and they do - most of them will grit their teeth and get on with it. ConwayIII (talk) 21:40, August 13, 2023 (EDT)

Oh wow. So "recruitment" now means "press gang" and "draft". Okay. I hope you hang around to help translate more of this common propaganda terminolgy. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 22:05, August 13, 2023 (EDT)
Did you see the video from a few weeks ago of the fragging incident? where the Ukrainian commander tossed a hand grenade into a bunker full of Ukrainian soldiers who refused to fight? The big mystery is, why would they post it on the internet afterward? And no, it's not a fake or Russian propaganda. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 22:12, August 13, 2023 (EDT)
There is a video of this same incident with subtitles I can't find right now; but he's basically arguing with the soldiers cause he sent them to occupy a certain position and they returned to the bunker here. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 21:16, August 16, 2023 (EDT)
Not a day goes by where there's not a half dozen videos of the press gangs in action. People now are beginning to fight back. And the widows are confronting them in street, asking "Why don't you go to the front?" That's what Zelensky evidently is responding to. Also, the regime now is beginning to requisition people's vehicles (mostly the nice ones) off the street, as well. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 23:12, August 13, 2023 (EDT)

Obama and transgenderism

Traditional history records a handful of transgendered freaks like Emperor Elagabulus (c. 204 -222). The modern history of this subject begins with John Money, who wrote a journal article about Canadian David Reimer in 1967. Reimer was born a boy and was brought up as a girl as part of a sick psychological experiment. He committed suicide in 2004. The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) gave us the word "transsexual." In 2015, Olympian Bruce Jenner announced that he was a woman. Suddenly, the issue everywhere. Thousands of years of human cultural were overturned by a Vanity Fair cover.

There was obviously more to the story, but the magazine cover was only part that the MSM was interested in telling us about. After watching this Megan Kelly video, I suspect at that we can thank President Barack Obama for this problem. He wrote up fantasies about gay sex, according to Kelly. He had a masculine-looking white girlfriend at one point. He gave her up to have a politically correct marriage with Michelle.

If you recall the panic over covid, it seems that drug companies are calling the shots these days. So how can we control them? Malcolm Gladwell has a podcast about how California and other states headed off the opioid epidemic by requiring forms to be filled out "in triplicate." I remember when "in triplicate" was a metaphor for the dumbest, most pointless form of regulation, so this backstory was fascinating. Maybe its time to do something similar for puberty blockers. The story of Michael Robinson has been known for a while. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 16:39, August 11, 2023 (EDT)
During the 2008 campaign, Obama's Dreams from my Father (1995), was treated as a definitive account. In 2012, a biography by David Maranass went through the book and debunked every story worth debunking. All those stories about how Obama triumphed over race discrimination? They were fake, every single one. But Maranass's account just leaves us with more questions. If Obama had spent his undergrad years playing basketball and smoking dope, how did he get into Harvard? You're not even allowed to ask as far as the MSM is concerned. PeterKa (talk) 04:55, August 13, 2023 (EDT)
Here is a recent interview with Obama biographer David Garrow. Garrow's book was a bestseller in 2017. He tracked down Obama girlfriend Sheila Miyoshi Jager as well as his homoerotic letters. The letters are part of an archive kept at Emory University in Georgia. Every major figure in the Biden administration is an Obama appointee. They run policy while Biden focuses on making money for himself and his family. Compared to Hunter's $100 million in Russian money, Obama's book deal was worth a measly $65 million. The Garrow interview I linked to argues that Obama is running this administration, much like Jefferson writing letters in Monticello telling the Madison administration what to do. PeterKa (talk) 13:43, August 13, 2023 (EDT)
Do you feel like adding some of this to Obama's bio article? His post-presidency and legacy, or maybe his early life? I'm debating about adding this photo to his Legacy section. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:18, August 13, 2023 (EDT)

Demonic ISIS Terrorism against Christians and Churches goes tragically under-reported in the world press

God will have His Vengeance on the Persecutors of Christians: "Vengeance is Mine, says the Lord, I will repay"; "You are the Apple of My Eye, says the Lord; Whoever touches you touches Me"; "Saul, Saul why are you persecuting Me ... I am Jesus, Whom you persecute", the Lord said when His Martyrs were being Persecuted, as they are still today, above all by these Radical Islamist Terrorist Thugs. Will update the Persecution of Christians in the World Today article with this shortly, but it is also News that deserves to be more widely reported.

From: https://www.memri.org/jttm/isis-africa-chad-cameroon-niger-democratic-republic-congo-nigeria-mozambique-targeting

"ISIS videos in 2022 not only gloried in the killing of Christians and the destruction of their property and churches, but also in showing kidnapped Christian villagers being forcibly converted to Islam. Our adversary sees this campaign in ideological, Islamic supremacist terms most of all.

African Christians are in a sense doubly stigmatized. Their suffering is minimized in the eyes of most of the West because they are both Africans and Christians, two categories that can be easily ignored by our enlightened elites more interested in promoting the latest fashionable progressive ideologies.

But with talk of Africa becoming a higher priority for the U.S. as a result of intensifying great power competition, it is important to understand the full scope and ramifications of this bloody campaign. Certainly, the longer it continues, the greater possibility exists of the full ethnicization of these conflicts which could further fracture already stressed states and societies. What ISIS did to religious minorities in the Middle East it is seeking to do on a continent where Islam and Christianity are relatively equally matched. The potential result is pouring oil on a simmering fire.

This comprehensive MEMRI report should be a wake-up call, not only about the military and security dimensions of the conflict in Africa that are too easily ignored, but about the ideological and cultural elements of this struggle. Only by understanding this crisis fully can we hope to address it successfully." NishantXavierFor Christ the King 15:07, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

uh, ISIS was funded by the Obama administration and the US taxpayer (just as Ukrainian Nazis now are funded by the US). RobSGive Peace a Chance! 15:26, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

The Clear Solution is an Integrally Conservative Christian Candidate for US President. Since NATO is a US-dominated Alliance, it follows that the Ideology - whether Atheistic and Woke, i.e. pro-abortion and pro sodomy LGBTQ, or Conservative and Christian i.e. Pro-Life, Pro-Family, Pro-Natural Marriage etc - that dominates the US will also dominate NATO. It remains that the Election of a Conservative Anti-Woke Christian President like De Santis will definitely help end the Ukraine War, because then the West will go back to promoting Christian Values. Indeed, the possibility of an American-Russian Alliance - against ISIS for e.g. which still Terrorizes much of Africa - at a not too distant date is still possible. But Russia also needs to go back to its own territory for that to happen. NishantXavierFor Christ the King 15:34, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

Deep State support for ISIS is why Obama fired Gen. Michael Flynn as Defense Intelligence Agency director cause he opposed it, and why the FBI framed him up on bogus charges - to silence him. And why the Deep State thwarted all efforts by the Trump administration. Unfortunately, not only is there no clue that DeSantis understands any of this, he's funded by the same globalist forces in bed with the Deep State. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 15:46, August 14, 2023 (EDT)
Let me take part of that back - yes, DeSantis does understand much of the Deep State coup plot, but his ranting against it is an empty handed gesture. Like Trump, he wouldn't be able to get his own appointments the proper security clearances past the corrupt FBI, and would have to staff his own administration with a bunch of deep staters, just has Trump was forced to. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 15:50, August 14, 2023 (EDT)
And even if he could get a single appointee, like Gen. Flynn for example who already had the proper security clearances, the FBI will harass and frame them up on bogus charges in order to protect itself. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 15:55, August 14, 2023 (EDT)
Brother, the Deep State really is Evil, and De Santis is the most dedicated, disciplined, tough, Anti-Evil Candidate I have ever seen. I'm not easily impressed, and I'm really impressed by De Santis. That is after many hours of researching his record and his accomplishments. This man walks the walk and not just talks the talk. He will Succeed in destroying the Deep State, which Trump could not completely do, though I'll happily admit Trump did do some good things. De Santis catching on to Fauci being part of the Deep State within the Trump Administration while Trump was still commending that is just one basic evidence for that I can think of. De Santis is the Crusading Christian Conservative Champion we've all been waiting for for 40+years since Ronald Reagan and he will take the Deep State down. Just give him the chance and see. If I'm wrong in 2028, I'll eat my words and you can quote them back to me right here. NishantXavierFor Christ the King 21:27, August 14, 2023 (EDT)
Here's where you need some understanding how the system operates (and we will not even go into the matters of FISA abuse or Weaponization of government).
Presidentiual power consists of his powers of appointment, i.e. not so much what he himself does, but in the 2,000+ appointments he makes to the federal bureaucracy. No single person has 2,000 friends or acquaintances he knows personally to fill those appointments, so obviously a president is dependent on other people to make recommendations.
Then these appointments have to pass FBI background checks, i.e. the FBI has veto power over presidential appointments.
That is precisely the problem we face today; cause Chris Wray and the FBI aren't going to grant security clearances to anyone who wants to clean up the FBI, DOJ, CIA or any other corrupt apparatus of the US intelligence community and deep state. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 21:40, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

The issue here isn't who's right and who's wrong, or who's the good guy and who's the bad guy; the issue is the military industrial complex will sell weapons to both sides, Christians and Muslim terrorists, to keep the fight going (but won't sell to arms competitors, like the Russians). The deep state/military industrial complex doesn't care who gets killed or how many, but rather the more the merrier for arms sales profits.

I care who gets killed, the Islamic Terrorists should get killed, and the Christians should be Free. Trump did Good Work against ISIS, unlike pathetic Obama who supported them, led by his Deep State. De Santis will do 10 times Greater Things. Support and rally around him and we win! NishantXavierFor Christ the King 21:30, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

And how does the US taxpayer pay for these arms? With money borrowed from China, piling on the national debt. FDR used to respond to critics of deficit spending and the national debt by saying, "We owe it to ourselves", meaning we owe it to Wall Street or American elites. Today it's a foreign debt., RobSGive Peace a Chance! 16:08, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

Expanding NATO into Asia will relieve the US taxpayer burden. Europe will pay more of its fair share and America won't have to go it alone. Asian Countries who are prospects join NATO are already supporting the Alliance in various ways like Japan and South Korea are. Expanding NATO into Asia makes all of us stronger and the world safer. It is a win-win for everyone except Godless Commie China. We are in Cold War 2.0. Wake up, Rob! The sooner we all see it, the better for all of us. • " Indeed, the possibility of an American-Russian Alliance - against ISIS for e.g. which still Terrorizes much of Africa - at a not too distant date is still possible."'
Indeed, Vladimir Putin has asked for this since nearly the day he took office (after the two Chechen wars in the 1990s), but the Bush administration, Obama administration, User:Conservative, and yourself have told him to go to hell. Now it's too late. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 16:53, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

He should propose it to a De Santis Administration, and it will almost certainly be accepted. If that's what Putin really wants, that is.

But he needs to go back to his own country first and stop trying to take Kyiv for e.g. which he unjustly attacked and had no right to do.

I did not tell him to go to hell, but only to go back to Russia's own territory. Saint John the Apostle says this: "11For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 12Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother’s were righteous. 13Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters, b if the world hates you. 14We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him." (1 Jn 3:11-15). Putin should see he isn't helping anyone - certainly not Christian - by attacking a 90% Christian Country like Ukraine, not to mention 60% of whom are his brother and sister Orthodox Christians. Putin has been misled by the Deep State's own Agents within the former KGB. They play both sides and they want to promote the narrative that America and Russia are Eternal Enemies. It doesn't have to be that way. America should stop promoting Woke Ideology, which Patriarch Kirill has demanded. That's where De Santis comes in; he is the Strongest Anti-Woke Candidate America has ever seen and will be the Strongest Anti-Woke President she has ever known either. But Russia also needs to do its part for peace and that is pull out, like both the US and Russia did in Afghanistan. The sooner the better. NishantXavierFor Christ the King 21:36, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

Russia expresses Appreciation for Catholic Church's Efforts under Pope Francis to Promote Peace

Nice to see. What I love about the Catholic Church is She is Truly Universal. She is Asian, African, European and American, and Australian. She is all things to all people, as Christ commanded us to be. And now Russia appreciates the Vatican's Efforts to Promote Peace. Let's hope Peace breaks out soon in these calamitous times:

Now, some of this may be confusing if you are not a regular follower; the basic idea is - DeSantis backers don't care if DeSantis wins or loses the 2024 general election; the purpose of his candidacy is to prevent Trump from being the nominee. It's a GOP internecine struggle. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 21:02, August 15, 2023 (EDT)

I don't think that's true even for other supporters of Governor De Santis becoming President De Santis, but it certainly isn't true for me. I support future President Ron De Santis because (1) he's the Strongest Pro-Life and Anti-Woke Candidate in the Race and (2) There's arguably a Christian moral obligation to support the Strongest Pro-Life and Anti-Woke Candidate, especially if there's a good chance we can win the Culture War for good in 4 or 8 years of a De Santis Presidency. Conservatives should rally and unite around a De Santis Presidency soon! NishantXavierFor Christ the King 23:33, August 15, 2023 (EDT)

Deccan Herald: US House Committee recommends adding India to NATO Plus

Yup, this is the Way Forward. A Joint US-India Alliance and expanding NATO to include India and other Asian Countries Allied to America. The Commie CCP's Worst Fear of all.

"NATO Plus, currently NATO Plus 5, is a security arrangement that brings together NATO and five aligned nations - Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, and South Korea - to boost global defence cooperation.

Bringing India on board would facilitate seamless intelligence sharing between these countries and India would access the latest military technology without much of a time lag.

The House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), led by Chairman Mike Gallagher and Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi, overwhelmingly adopted a policy proposal to enhance Taiwan's deterrence, including through strengthening NATO Plus to include India."

Now you see why the country is in such trouble - we have such incompetent leadership, even on the GOP side. And the GOP leaders have no excuse. You can't say they are just lying for propaganda purposes; no, they are just stupid and incompetent. Not only do they not have a clue about what is happening in the world, they don't understand how the world works in the first place. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 07:21, August 16, 2023 (EDT)
Before you go off on this rah-rah NATO spiel, as a young person you need to understand a few things. For NATO to continue to exist, it needs a bogeyman. Whoever the role of bogeyman gets assigned to, that means an arms race. An arms race, in economic terms, means you have to pay for it throughout your lifetime with higher taxes, higher inflation, and less economic opportunities for yourself for educational, employment opportunities, or starting a business (cause the nation has other priorities than your private interests). Then, when push comes to shove, you see all the sacrifices you paid for advanced arms were wasted, cause all your expensive weapons don't work and are burning up in a field somewhere like Ukraine (or worse yet, are just abandoned to our enemies cause our military and political leaders knew all along they are worthless, like in Afghanistan). Then those weapons need to be replaced. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
So, be a little more skeptical of propaganda sources before you bite off info about who the next Hitler, or who the next Reagan is (heck, I remember when Reagan was Hitler). RobSGive Peace a Chance! 08:08, August 16, 2023 (EDT)

Bloomberg: "China’s defense minister vowed to strengthen military ties with a string of countries around the world, while excluding from that list the Asian nation’s biggest economic and geopolitical rival, the United States."
Translation: If Germany, the UK, and France (plus Italy, Canada or whoever else) wants to deepen economic and military ties (remember, military alliances are created to defend economic trading blocs) with China, they would have to leave NATO. And the entire NATO bloc's prosperity over the past 20-30 years has been built on (1) Russian energy, and (2) cheap Chinese manufactured goods. So it looks like people living in the NATO bloc outside the US have some tuff choices ahead, as they sink into despair and poverty as a result of American leadership and their relations with the United States. How the DC propaganda media works

This headline from Roll Call, Once a conservative lawmaker, Mark Meadows now indicted, is not addressed to the general public. It specifically is addressed to conservative lawmakers to think twice about supporting Trump. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:50, August 16, 2023 (EDT)

The first thing we do, arrest all the liberals

Donald Trump could be arrested in Atlanta any time now. Three out of the four cases pending against him involve legal theories that are unprecedented in American jurisprudence. The classified documents case is the one with the best legal foundation. By prosecuting Trump and not Hillary, Biden is attempting to rig the 2024 election. How can the wife of a former president be immune from prosecution, but not an actual former president?

As president, Trump had the authority to created his own standard for what was classified and what wasn't. He could have made everything he did legal. The only reason that we know that he didn't do this is because he is on tape admitting that he didn't declassify the documents in question.

There are twenty-seven Republican attorney generals in the United States. They should all be cranking up prosecutions of Democrats. Prosecute Hunter as an unregistered foreign agent of Russia and China. Prosecute Stacy Abrams, Al Gore, and Hillary Clinton for attempting to overturn elections. Prosecute BLM and Antifa for the 2020 riots. The tech giants should be prosecuted for donating to pro-riot groups in order to force Americans to shop online. US approves sending F-16s to Ukraine from Denmark and Netherlands

My prediction that the War will likely end by end 2024 or in about 1.5 years is looking pretty good right now. This breaking from Reuters.

"WASHINGTON, Aug 17 (Reuters) - The United States has approved sending F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine from Denmark and the Netherlands to defend against Russian invaders as soon as pilot training is completed, a U.S. official said on Thursday.

Ukraine has actively sought the U.S.-made F-16 fighter jets to help it counter Russian air superiority.

Washington gave Denmark and the Netherlands official assurances that the United States will expedite approval of transfer requests for F-16s to go to Ukraine when the pilots are trained, the official said."

https://www.reuters.com/world/us-approves-sending-f-16s-ukraine-denmark-netherlands-2023-08-17/ NishantXavierFor Christ the King 20:56, August 17, 2023 (EDT)

I know you follow MSM, but right now the experts are giving the Zelensky regime's life expectancy about 4-5 weeks.
As to the F-16s, they will be stripped down and the pilots are just sacrificial lambs to see how the Russians destroy the planes.
One of the big problems with F-16 is, they need a special runway that doesn't exist in Ukraine; so if they take off from Poland or Romania, that is an act of war originating from those countries. So they have to take off from these shortened runways in Ukraine. NATO is just paying close attention to how long it takes for the Russian forces to detect them and respond, with what kind of electronic warfare, and how they will destroy them. It's just basic research the MIC needs to build into the F-35.
And the Russians won't use their top-of-the-line technology to destroy them. They'll use older Soviet stuff that NATO has probably never faced.
Now sure, in the F-16s first or second run they may get lucky, make a few hits, and return to base alive, which will get maximum air play for propaganda purposes. But by the third run the Russians will have it figured out, how to make the kill shot without revealing too much about their modern weapons systems (radar detection and missile defense). RobSGive Peace a Chance! 21:26, August 17, 2023 (EDT)
The Leopard 2, for example, "the best main battle tank on the planet", didn't last one day in combat. Now it's the UK Challenger's turn. Next is the Abrams. They send them in in such limited, small numbers, not cause they expect them to be useful or "win" (a "gamechanger") in combat, but to discover their vulnerabilities and information about Russian offensives weapons. It's just experimental under real combat conditions. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 21:47, August 17, 2023 (EDT)
Shoigu already said Russia will regard F-16s as a nuclear threat, and I just heard it repeated (the Russians are not in the habit of repeating themselves; they basically make an official statement once and leave it at that. They don't play the Western media game of tit-for-tat rhetoric timed for news cycles, but I;ll watch to see if had to be repeated). Sometimes they may give a gentle reminder on their policy, but they are not required to answer all the bluster coming from the West everytime somebody talks smack. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 06:05, August 18, 2023 (EDT)
The Russians will use that Reuters report and/or whoever it came from as simply more evidence how they are disrespected and ignored in the West. The West can laugh it off, but it carries weight in Russian domestic propaganda. So when you get clobbered with a nuke, don't say you weren't warned.
