Michigan House of Representatives

2018 election

Whitsett easily won election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2018, defeating her Republican opponent in a landslide.[1]

Tenure

Attacks from the Democrat plantation

After Whitsett had contracted coronavirus and fully recovered from taking hydroxychloroquine, she was the focus of Democrat racist attacks for thanking President Donald Trump,[2] whom she credited for helping to save her life after becoming infected.[3] For this, Whitsett was expelled from the party by Democrat totalitarian fascist Gov. Gretchen Whitmer for being too uppity.[4] In addition, it was reported that Whitsett has received unpleasant text messages from Governor Whitmer.[5]

Democrats in Detroit planned to censure Whitsett over the latter's praising of Donald Trump,[6] and unanimously did so by April 25, 2020.[7] Whitsett asserted that Gov. Whitmer was behind the move to punish her for having survived the coronavirus in following the advice of President Trump and later praising the latter.[8]

Miscellaneous

Whitsett announced in early May 2020 that she would join Republicans in voting in favor of reopening Michigan.[9]
