Jon Stewart (born Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz on November 28, 1962) is a liberal nine-time Emmy-winning American comedian, satirist, actor, author, and producer. He describes himself as more of a socialist or an independent than a Democrat [1]. He is best known as the host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and for his political satire.
Stewart has also appeared in several films including "Big Daddy," "The Faculty", "Half Baked" and "Death To Smoochy." He was the host of the 2006 and 2008 Academy Awards. He is the "Father" in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son (Stephen Colbert), and Holy Spirit (Dennis Kucinich).
