2024 U.S. Senate elections
2024 U.S. Senate elections was held on November 5, 2024. Republicans were able to flip The Senate and won 4 seats in West Virginia by Jim Justice, Montana by Tim Sheehy who defeated Jon Tester, Ohio by Bernie Moreno who defeated Sherrod Brown and Pennsylvania by David McCormick who defeated Bob Casey, Jr. to be majority with 53 seats.
Four additional seats were too close for Republicans to flip from Democrat control, in this order:
- Arizona, which Ruben Gallego won.
- Wisconsin, which Tammy Baldwin won.
- Michigan, which Elissa Slotkin won
- Nevada, which Jacky Rosen won.

Arizona
The incumbent, former Democrat Kyrsten Sinema decided to not run for a second term. The candidates to replace her are:
- Far left Ruben Gallego announced that he would run for the Senate
- Kari Lake announced her candidacy.
California
Incumbent senator Diane Feinstein has died. Three far-left candidates are running to fill her seat Adam Schiff, Katie Porter and Barbara Lee.
Indiana
Mike Braun is retiring to prepare to run for Governor of Indiana instead. U.S. representative Jim Banks announced his candidacy.
Florida
Rick Scott running for a second term won against Debbie Mucarsel-Powell the Democrat candidate.
Maryland
Incumbent senator Ben Cardin is retiring. Former governor of Maryland Larry Hogan is the Republican nominee will face Angela Alsobrooks for this seat.
Michigan
Incumbent Four-term Democrat Debbie Stabenow announced that she is retiring, and will not run for a fifth term. Representative and fake moderate Elissa Slotkin is running for the Democratic nomination. Michael J. Rogers will be the Republican candidate.

Montana
Fake Moderate Democrat Jon Tester announced that he is running for a fourth term. Tim Sheehy will be the Republican candidate against him.
Minnesota
Amy Klobuchar is running for another term, she is likely to keep her seat, due her popularity in state.
Nevada
Incumbent Democrat Jacky Rosen is running for second term, Sam Brown is the Republican nominee.

New Jersey
Incumbent Democrat senator Bob Menendez did not run for reelection as a Democrat, but in March left open the possibility of running as an independent. The Democrat is likely to underperform in this race in a state that trended to the right in the last two years, particularly in South Jersey which has swung strongly in support of Trump.
New Mexico
Martin Heinrich is running for third term. Nella Domenici daughter of former Senator Pete Domenici is running against him.
Ohio
Three-term Democrat Sherrod Brown is running for a fourth term. Bernie Moreno won the primary election and will be the Republican candidate against him.

Three-term Democrat Bob Casey Jr has announced his intention to run for a fourth term. He is unlikely to lose due to his last name recognition. Dave McCormick (husband of Dina Powell) will be his candidate.

Ted Cruz announced that he is running for a third term. Collin Allred is the Democrat candidate.
Utah
RINO Senator Mitt Romney has announced that he will retire after 2025 following his votes to convict Trump on both impeachments. Attorney General of Utah Sean Reyes and Former U.S. representative Jason Chaffetz are considered possible Republican primary challengers.
Virginia
Two-term Democrat Tim Kaine was re-elected in 2018. On January 20, 2023, Kaine confirmed he is running for reelection to a third term. Republican Hung Cao is running against Tim Kaine.
West Virginia
Joe Manchin decided to not run for another term. Republican nominee is the Governor Jim Justice, who is certain to win.[1]
Wisconsin
Two-term Democrat Tammy Baldwin has announced her intention to run for a third term. The Republican nominee is businessman Eric Hovde.
