Patty Murray, born October 11, 1950 (age 75), is a United States Senator from the state of Washington as a member of the Democratic Party. Patty Murray previously worked as a citizen lobbyist for environmental and education issues from 1983 to 1988. She was elected to the United States Senate in 1992 and has been re-elected ever since.[1] In 2008, National Journal ranked Murry the most liberal U.S. Senator.[2]
Murray is a Catholic that is funded by pro-abortion groups. She received a zero rating from a Catholic Advocate study, nominating her as having the top ten worst Catholic voting records.[3]
Patty-Pelosi
Patty Murray supports bank bailouts, cap and trade, tax increases and ObamaCare. She votes almost always with Nancy Pelosi, and supports both Pelosi and Obama's political agenda. Patty Murray has voted with the majority of her Democratic colleagues ninety-six percent of the time during her appointment as a member of Congress.[4] According to the VoteMatch quiz, Murray is a hard-core liberal.[5]
