Scientific Illiteracy and Liberals

There seems to be a high rate of scientific illiteracy among liberals.[1] This phenomenon will become evident whenever one speaks to a liberal.
Examples
- Use of ad hom attacks to hide their scientific illiteracy ("You clearly don't understand how science works.").
- Gratuitous amounts of spewing pseudoscience
- Fictitious, disproved claims.
- The denial of Biblical Scientific Foreknowledge
- Over twice as many Democrats believe in astrology than Republicans (31% to 14%).[2]
- When asked about the scientific method, they cannot state the steps.
