The California Maritime Academy (also known as CMA, Cal Maritime and CSU, Maritime) is one of 23 campuses in the California State University system and is one of only seven degree-granting maritime academies in the United States. It is located in Vallejo, California.

History

Initially called the California Nautical School, the school was established in 1929. The School changed its name to The California Maritime Academy in 1939. In 1995, Cal Maritime became the twenty second campus of the California State University system.[3]

California Maritime offers 6 undergraduate degree programs, most with nautical themes.
