Villanova University is a Pennsylvania private university founded in 1842.[2] It is located in Villanova, Radnor Township, Pennsylvania. It ranked #1 in US News's 2008 "Universities-Master's (North): Top Schools" list.[3] It was ranked the #1 school in PC Magazine's Top 20 Wired Colleges.[4]

Athletics

Villanova has 10 men's and 12 women's sports teams.[1] The men's basketball team has won three national championships, in 1985, 2016, and 2018.[5] The 1985 team was a #8 seed in the tournament and remains the lowest-seed ever to win the tournament.
