Synopsis

Gage Bladik whose anger issues threaten to upset the relationships in his life. Themes include that of brotherly love, and the desire to change oneself for another person. Gage and his autistic brother Tommy lost their parents at a young age. Gage, now a young man who was raised to be a resilient self-Reliant child, has underlying anger and road rage issues. Gage's Fiance Chelsea Sanworth works with him to curb his temper. She loves him but fears their relationship is turning into a violent one. As a result, she offers an ultimatum on their impending marriage: get help, or the wedding is off. Gage Bladik is an on edge office worker by day and a riled up Road Rager by night. The film brings viewers inside the life of two individuals and how the anger affects both themselves and the lives around them. The story is depicted through a first hand set of experiences inside the life of Gage Bladik that evokes emotional responses for reasons why he has anger. Gage's backstory shows him caring for his highly autistic brother who's reliant completely on Gage, his caring for him, then showing viewers the stress moments he must endure to the relationship he has with his Fiance, and Psychiatric help that places him among high-anger reasons for having road rage. Moreover the impact-full nature of the often overlooked topics of anger, cause and effect and road rage occur throughout the film.

Producers

The second take of the very first scene filmed on October 28, 2012 for the St. Louis independent short film "To Inflict". "Piper" the barista, played by actress Molly Cravens interacts in this scene with the customers.

'To Inflict' Executive Producer Don Burnett played an integral role in helping finance and propel the film into a film festival success. Burnett who holds a BA, MA and PhD in education only started into film-making a few years before the "To Inflict" release. Burnett began a career in education which included being a teacher and principal of the Year at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., Burnett was also professor of foreign language in Brazil and China and finally the Educational Consultant to the Episcopal Bishop of the Diocese of Rio de Janeiro.

Culminating over 60 TV episodes as a producer, director and writer Bryan Kreutz, along with Brayden Patterson started the story-boarding and story concepts for "To Inflict" to be a short film in the fall of 2012. Kreutz and Patterson's focus on the story was particularly on the dangers of road-rage and anger in our society along with how it affects those we are close to. The two wrote the story, handing the concept to writer/director Elizabeth Wiegard to write the dialogue with a full script for the short film when she graduated straight out of college in St. Louis.
