Who is going to be conservative of the year in 2024? Any predictions? Conservative (talk) 15:34, January 1, 2024 (EST)

I think you need to stay away from this subject until you apologize for attempting to intimidate editors from contributing to the 2023 nominations. RobSZelensky didn't kill himself 15:37, January 1, 2024 (EST)

I want nominate Sen Marsha Blackburn for her efforts to release Epstein documents and Judge Loretta Preska who ordered to release this documents --Alex Kosh (talk) 21:27, January 3, 2024 (EST)

Marsha Blackburn would be a good addition as you explain! Please feel free to add her.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 23:25, January 26, 2024 (EST)

Paxton is a great addition to this list!--Andy Schlafly (talk) 23:25, January 26, 2024 (EST)

add Olympic athletes nominations

Few nominations from Olympic champions

  • Novak Djokovic, for winning Olympic gold medal and praising God after winning.[1]
  • Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, the incredible athlete who two Olympic Gold medals and breaking World record in 400 meter hurdles. Praised Jesus as reason for her achievements and because of that, she is ignored by mainstream media.[2]
  • Korbin Albert, the player of U.S women national soccer team. After years of wokeness from Megan Rapinoe, US soccer women team young star came to praise Jesus after winning the Olympic gold medal in 2024 in Paris.[3]
  • Angela Carini, the Italian boxer who courageously speak against involving male athletes at women sport.

Conservative of the year 2024 nomination (Humor): Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman

Biden met with Saudi Prince MBS in July 2022 to beg for more gas after Biden made the campaign pledge of making the Saudis pariahs.[1]

Conservative of the year 2024 nomination (Humor):

Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who Donald Trump talked to around April 2024[2], for likely helping the Saudis decide to not ramp up oil production until December 2024[3][4][5], which is very near the time that Donald T. Trump will be in office and the Democrats will not be (Bonus points: The kingdom is very anti-gay and tough on crime which is very conservative). The Americans and Saudis are the two biggest producers of oil and when Trump is in office, there is going to be a lot of oil! Drill, baby, drill! See: Donald Trump’s Presidency Will Likely Boost U.S. Oil Output In 2025, Fortune, November 6, 2024. Oil Prices Fall as Trump Inches Toward Victory, Oilprice.com, November 6, 2024).

FYI: Blow to Putin's War Machine As Saudi Arabia Ramps Up Oil Production, 2024. This is not good for Vladimir Putin who is the leader of Russia. Russia raised taxes in 2021 and plans on raising taxes again in 2025 on the rich/companies to help pay for the war in Ukraine.[6] Raising taxes is generally considered to be something liberals do and something conservatives do not do. Congrats, User:Conservative. In the past few years we've had pretty good participation in this project, but your doubling and tripling down on trolling has pretty well turned people off. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 00:42, December 28, 2024 (EST)

Is there any point to nominating anybody but Donald Trump for Conservative of the Year 2024?

This was his year, bar none. Perhaps even moreso than 2016.--Geopolitician (talk) 23:52, December 26, 2024 (EST)

BTW, these two, in the media, sided with Trump, consistently, non stop, through thick and thin: Sean Hannity and Mark Levin.Telling (talk) 13:50, December 29, 2024 (EST)

Elon Musk should be removed from the list entirely

Over the last few days he has shown his true colors, and it's becoming apparent that he's not a sincere conservative, but rather a dangerous Trojan Horse who seeks to co-opt and remake the conservative movement in his own image. He never truly supported Trump, he only used him for personal gain. So the premise behind including him on this list is false.--Geopolitician (talk) 11:53, December 28, 2024 (EST)

Interesting point; as a prominent figure in the military industrial complex, I don't know that he ever claimed to be a conservative. The label apparently was applied due to the help he provided to Trump. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 14:00, December 28, 2024 (EST)
Good points. I'll move Elon Musk to "Honorable Mention" for now.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 14:25, December 28, 2024 (EST)
I don't think he even deserves an honorable mention. We should make him (along with DeSantis) a damnatio memoriae.--Geopolitician (talk) 13:19, December 29, 2024 (EST)
IMHO. Musk, if included, maybe limited as a pro conservatives (i.e. Conservative people - though, even that, not always, but not necessarily pro conservatism), not more than that.Telling (talk) 13:42, December 29, 2024 (EST)
He's part of the governing coalition, and without him it wouldn't have been possible, RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 13:40, December 29, 2024 (EST)

Top 6

Trump, Mace, Kash, Paxton, Riley Gaines and whoever (Aaron Rogers? but we should limit only one sports figure in the Top 6). RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 13:49, December 28, 2024 (EST)

Great point about limiting one (or zero) spots in the top six to a sports figure.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 14:24, December 28, 2024 (EST)

More on Top 6: Tulsi, God love her, didn't switch parties until the deep state added her to the terror watch list; RFK Jr, I can't get the image out of my head of a black transgender holding an RFK sign behind him during a speech; Meloni, she's in bed with Zelensky, Biden, Macron and other fascists. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 14:09, December 29, 2024 (EST)

Does anyone object Nancy Mace? I tnink she is great.Telling (talk)
I second the motion. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 14:30, December 29, 2024 (EST)

(Seconded, without trash talking multiple winner Donald Trump who has made some bad appointments then & now, shooting himself in the foot). RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 14:33, December 29, 2024 (EST)
I agree with Meloni, she doesn't deserve especially with her last stupid comments with accusing Russia with importing illegals and ignore her NATO ally Turkiye where most of them came. Also Nancy Mace is overrated. Angela Carini deserve the spot more than Riley Gaines --Alex Kosh (talk) 04:09, December 30, 2024 (EST)
Also Lauren Boebert no reason to be here, she only switch to safe red district in Colorado, thats why she won --Alex Kosh (talk) 04:15, December 30, 2024 (EST)

Front runners

I think David McCormick which had tougher race in Pennsylvania than Bernie Moreno in Ohio deserve to be in front runners. Also Michael Whatley, Lara Trump, Scott Presler and Charlie Kirk did tremendous work to help Trump winning the election --Alex Kosh (talk) 04:05, December 30, 2024 (EST)

My votes on the finalists

I honestly don't know how to rank them, aside from Trump being #1. Aside from that, if I had to pick two of the eight to be removed so we get our six winners, I would remove Meloni (because she's a Deep State shill) and Patel (because he didn't really do anything himself, Trump's the one who deserves credit for appointing him and forcing out Wray).--Geopolitician (talk) 23:53, December 31, 2024 (EST)

Javier Milei

Since he was added as a front-runner after the New Year, I'll opine on him after the New Year. I strongly oppose Javier Milei being a front-runner, a runner-up, or even as an honorable mention. He may be imposing sweeping fiscal conservative reforms at home, but abroad his foreign policies are firmly aligned with the American Deep State. What good are his domestic reforms when at the end of the day he stands with the very people who seek to enslave not just the Argentinian people but all of humanity?--Geopolitician (talk) 12:29, January 2, 2025 (EST)

Argentina hasn't provided any weapons yet to the Zelensky regime, AFAIK, so much of it may be just talk right now. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 12:52, January 2, 2025 (EST)
Javier Milei and so-called "deep state"? What?Telling (talk) 16:14, January 2, 2025 (EST)
IMO, Milei's "free market reforms" and cutting government subsidies resembles somewhat the "shock therapy" of Yeltsin and may not end well. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 12:55, January 2, 2025 (that?
The very fact he is the opposite of despicable radical socialist Lula of BR...Dianne3000 (talk) 20:23, January 2, 2025 (EST)
Ironically enough, Lula is doing more to resist the Deep State than Milei. He should be commended for that, even if he is a socialist--Geopolitician (talk) 12:27, January 4, 2025 (EST)
Lula cowes to DEEP ISLAMIC STATE of Iran. I guess Andy added Milei? And he is right.Dianne3000 (talk) 16:32, January 5, 2025 (EST)
The Islamic Republic of Iran, like Lula and like the American people, is resisting the Deep State's global agenda.--Geopolitician (talk) 00:18, January 7, 2025 (EST)
IMO, it's pretty obvious Trump has reached some sort of compromise or accommodation with globalists and the deep stae. This has been apparent since Trump met with serving UK Foreign Minister Camaron at Mara Lago in May 2024. If the Biden junta was so hellbent on lawfare to get Trump, why didn't they charge him with a Logan Act violation? RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 00:26, January 7, 2025 (EST)
If that's the case, then Trump has betrayed us.--Geopolitician (talk) 15:37, January 7, 2025 (EST)
