The Phoenix Suns are a professional basketball team based in Phoenix, Arizona. The Suns were founded in 1968 and play in the Western Conference and Pacific Division of the NBA. Since their founding the Suns have not won any league titles but have won the Western Conference title three times, most recently in 2021. Two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash played for the Suns for ten years. They have the seventh-highest franchise winning percentage in the NBA.
The Suns play in the Footprint Center, also the home of the several other Phoenix Sport Teams, including the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the AFL's Arizona Rattlers, and the ECHL's Phoenix Roadrunners. The NHL's Phoenix Coyotes also played at the US Airways Center until a purpose-built $180 million Jobbing.com arena was finished.
