Holidays that are officially observed in the United States as Federal holidays.

If the holiday is set for a specific date (such as Christmas Day, which is always celebrated on December 25, under the law if that date falls on a Saturday, most employees will celebrate it on the preceding Friday; if on a Sunday, most employees will celebrate it on the following Monday.
