Washington Capitals

The Washington Capitals are a hockey team based in Washington DC. They are members of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). They were founded in the 1974 NHL expansion, but have never won a Stanley Cup. The Capitals play at the Verizon Center, which is also the home to the Washington Wizards.
