(Redirected from Atlanta Thrashers)
The Winnipeg Jets are a hockey team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They are members of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). They were formerly the Atlanta Thrashers, but moved to Winnipeg after the 2010-11 season. The team adopted the Jets name as an homage to Winnipeg's earlier NHL franchise, which relocated to Arizona to become the Phoenix Coyotes (now the Arizona Coyotes). The Jets play their home games at Bell MTS Place in downtown Winnipeg.
