Turin, Italy is the home of the Shroud of Turin, the mysterious burial cloth containing what appears to be an image of Jesus as caused by a flash of light of the Resurrection.

The city is also the longtime home of premier car design company Pininfarina, which was founded there in 1930. The company helped design classics such as Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Peugeot, Fiat, Lancia, and Maserati, and also many cars produced in Asia. The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City gave Pininfarina a big boost by including its car design of the Cisitalia “202” GT (1946) in MoMA's inaugural exhibit on eight car designs in 1951.
