Talk:Igor Kirillov
When the Soviet Union did nuclear tests, a lot of them were in Uzbekistan.[1] The Russians played a big role in the Soviet Union. And there are other reasons why many people of Uzbekistan are not fond of Russians. "Uzbekistan's history is closely tied to Russian colonialism and the Soviet system. The Russian Empire gradually expanded into Central Asia in the 19th century, and the region was the last frontier of Russian imperialism."[2]
Also, "The war in eastern Ukraine has spurred calls for independence for Karakalpakstan, a depressed semi-autonomous region of Uzbekistan."[3]
So you can speculate about CIA involvement in his killing all you want, but when Russians receive some blowback for their various misdeeds, you can't blame it all on the USA. Of course, the man who killed the general was given a financial incentive too so of course that was the largest motivator of the attack. Conservative (talk) 07:10, December 18, 2024 (EST)
- So under Just Hybrid War Theory, God approves of terrorism and murder. It's a component of critical thinking when starting a just nuclear war. Okay, got it. I'll remember that. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 10:21, December 18, 2024 (EST)
- It's just a matter of proof and evidence. There is no direct or circumstantial evidence that the USA was involved. It's pure speculation. And there is plenty of motive for the Ukrainians and some guy from Uzbekistan to want to kill a Russian general - especially if the guy was paid. Is it possible the USA/CIA was involved. Yes. But there is zero evidence.
- The Russians should focus on their very big internal problems and not engage in foreign wars (Russia is involved in 4 wars). If they did, there would be less blowback like Kursk, a general being killed in Moscow, etc. In short, Russia should make love and not war plus focus on domestic matters. If they did, they might solve their demographic crisis plus improve their roads and sewers which need a lot of repairs/improvements.[4][5][6] Conservative (talk) 11:36, December 18, 2024 (EST)

- You didn't give the source for the important portion of your quote: "That, in my view, is a fabricated excuse. I believe Ukraine released that story on Monday in order to create a predicate for killing Kirillov on Tuesday, which they did."[8]

- "In my view" and "I believe" means it is punditry opinion and not fact. There is a big difference between opinion and fact. Conservative (talk) 17:44, December 18, 2024 (EST)
