Coprophage

The common household cockroach is a coprophage.

Coprophage literally excrement eating. Some species, such as the cockroach, feed on their own excrement. Other species feed on each other's excrement.

The term is also used to describe gullible and naive consumers of mainstream media and war propaganda.
