Conservapedia talk:Unofficial 2020 presidential election predictions
Arizona
As of right now, I'm not sure if we should just declare that Arizona is likely going to Donald Trump. Given the fact that he had won the state in 2016 by a much slimmer margin compared to previous presidential elections, in addition to the state trending Democrat in the 2018 midterms (especially Maricopa County in the Senate election), it seems to only tilt, if not potentially lean Republican. While turnout was lower in 2018 as compared to 2016, there are some neocons and RINOs who are apparently enthusiastic about voting for Joseph R. Biden because of "orange man bad". Furthermore, all the fake polling and election "ratings" that rely on one another for conclusions are probably going to end up demoralizing some Republican voters (especially in Maricopa County), which will only help Democrats. —LiberaltearsMay Dataclarifier be well! 23:56, 8 July 2020 (EDT)
Sure, Liberal Tears. We'll be editing the page in the run-up to the elections more than once anyway. You can put it as neutral/undecided if you want. I want to tally up the delegate votes once and see how it ends up. That's why I didn't leave it as 0 to 0. Once all 50 states are done, we'll look into this further. Please feel free to change the explanation column accordingly. But please leave the delegate column for now, till all 50 are done. NishantXavierFor Christ the King 00:06, 9 July 2020 (EDT)
- Okay, I think I see your plan with this. Since you're the main contributor for this prediction, I suppose you can be the one to decide whether certain states will go to Biden or Trump based on multiple factors, where I'll just add some relevant explanations/reasoning if need be. —LiberaltearsMay Dataclarifier be well! 00:14, 9 July 2020 (EDT)
Hi Liberal Tears. On the very issue you asked, a poll was recently released: https://d2pggiv3o55wnc.cloudfront.net/oann/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Arizona-OANN-June-28-2020-v3.pdf And just as per our analysis here on Conservapedia, President Trump is ahead! Just by 4 points, but that's still significant. I've updated the text under Arizona respectively. It's an OAN Poll. Please feel free to add any analysis to the table or to the text. We'll be coming to the number of delegates quite soon - maybe sooner than we think! God Bless NishantXavierFor Christ the King 06:58, 10 July 2020 (EDT)
