Atheist vandalism refers to acts of vandalism perpetrated by militant atheists who are consumed with their hatred of God and those who believe in Him.[1] These atheist criminals typically smear churches with phrases promoting godlessness and smash Christian statuary.[2] Militant atheists have additionally grafittied churches with Satanic symbols, such as the number of the Mark of the Beast.[3] In some cases, atheists have been charged with church arsons, the organized crime of buring down a church.[4]
