Shimon Peres

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by DavidB4-bot (Talk | contribs) at 20:23, January 11, 2018. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Shimon Peres (born 1923) was the Prime Minister of Israel and the ninth President of Israel, a role that is more ceremonial than its United States equivalent. He has had a long history in Israeli politics and shared the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in the Oslo Accords in 1994. Unfortunately, that early promise for peace never materialized.
