Removed this link from the caption of the picture atop the page: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/critics-say-whitmers-8645-sticker-was-call-to-kill-trump/ar-BB1aaOMm

It is a dead link. I tried using the Wayback Machine plus the leading archive site at https://archive.ph/ in order to replace the link, but to no avail.

In addition, I tried finding an alternative news outlet that covered this alleged matter, but I couldn't find one. Conservative (talk) 08:57, March 12, 2024 (EDT)

I am referring to this footnote/link:

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer sent a dogwhistle urging violence and the assassination of President Donald J. Trump to a nationwide audience on NBC's Meet the Press.[1]

Caveat: In the same way the Nazis replaced or used as a dogwhistle "Bolshevik" to mean "Jewish", there is a tendency in some quarters to use "liberal" or "communist" as a dogwhistle for "Jewish". RobSZelensky Must Go! 13:59, October 7, 2025 (EDT)
