America First Caucus

The America First Caucus is a congressional caucus based on the values of ending wars, stop illegal immigration & promote trade that is fair to American workers. [1] The group was founded by Paul Gosar of Arizona and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia on April 16, 2021.

Adam Kinzinger Never Trump RINO, Adam Kinzinger has said "Republicans who join 'America First' caucus should be stripped of committees."[3]
Peter Meijer Never Trump, RINO, Peter Meijer harshly condemned the formation of the group.[4]
Liz Cheney Anti Trump, Liz Cheney said in response to the group that "Republicans believe in equal opportunity, freedom, and justice for all. We teach our children the values of tolerance, decency and moral courage. Racism, nativism, and anti-Semitism are evil. History teaches we all have an obligation to confront & reject such malicious hate."[5]
Kevin McCarthy House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy said "America is built on the idea that we are all created equal and success is earned through honest, hard work. It isn’t built on identity, race, or religion. The Republican Party is the party of Lincoln & the party of more opportunity for all Americans—not nativist dog whistles."[6]
Ken Buck Fellow House Freedom Caucus member, Ken Buck condemned the formation of the group.[7] Buck was one of the only Freedom Caucus remembers to not object to either Pennsylvania or Arizona.
