Blake Masters lead latest poll from Emerson College over fake moderate Mark Kelly 48%-47% --Alex Kosh (talk) 12:24, November 4, 2022 (EDT)

Trump attacks DeSantis on the eve of his re-election bid, again

This just happened. I called it.--Geopolitician (talk) 01:10, November 6, 2022 (EDT)

That's interesting. Congratulations on predicting it! Trump is the conservative populist, while DeSantis has benefited from Trump's coattails while also enjoying a boost for rightly opposing the vaccine police.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 01:16, November 6, 2022 (EDT)
Sundance is speculating that Trump made that comment in response to a recent ad by the DeSantis campaign which basically equates him to God. If that's the case, then I would've used a different nickname: DeSacrilege.--Geopolitician (talk) 01:23, November 6, 2022 (EDT)
In the same article, Sundance points out several parallels between DeSantis and Ted Cruz, and none of them are good.--Geopolitician (talk) 01:24, November 6, 2022 (EDT)
On a related note, I'm getting sick and tired of politicians trying to deify themselves and/or embracing deifying statements made by their followers. And when I say "politicians," I don't mean just establishment figures (like DeSantis), but also populist figures (like Trump). American politics, across the board, has become godless in every sense of the word. And people still wonder why our country continues to suffer misfortune after misfortune no matter who they elect.--Geopolitician (talk) 12:57, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Is that all you do? Sit around and wait for Sundance's reporting on the GOPe (Sundance's shorthand for the GOP establishment) where he mentions DeSantis? If you're such an avid believer in Sundance, why no discussion of the GOPe unholy relationship with Chamber of Commerce and globalists, cause that's Sundance's main point? The Wall Street v. Main Street aspect. Do you think we're a bunch of Democrats, enamored with personalities and we ignore real issues? RobSGive Peace a chance 13:55, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Talk about a pot calling kettle black. You’ve outright dismissed Sundance’s reporting in the past when he said things you don’t like. Example A: When he raised the idea that Pompeo was in on the conspiracy to release COVID from the Wuhan lab.--Geopolitician (talk) 18:13, November 6, 2022 (EST)
I don't get it. You're on this anti-DeSantis crusade for months cause he's a threat to Trump, and you attack Trump at the same time. Why don't you focus on the substance of what Sundance is talking about - criticizing the GOP establishment. RobSGive Peace a chance 14:02, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Wrong. I’m onto DeSantis because he is engaging in blatant opportunism. Whether Trump is the best choice in 2024 is a separate issue.--Geopolitician (talk) 18:13, November 6, 2022 (EST)
You're misreading Sundance. He says DeSantis is a GOPe stooge, like Romney and Jeb Bush. Nothing about opportunism. RobSGive Peace a chance 18:24, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Oh, I get it. You ignore all the nasty stuff Sundance writes about Nikki Haley, Marco Rubio, and Paul Ryan cause they are not running for president. Your perspective is typical Democrat false messiah worship. You think you can drive a wedge between Republicans, between the MAGA GOP and the GOPe. Hey, we're not liberals, and we're not Democrats, and we don't think like Democrats. And when Democrat BS gets dragged in here, it stinks to high heaven. RobSGive Peace a chance 14:08, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Um, I’ve attacked Haley and Rubio here before. Multiple times. Go see the edits I’ve made to their articles. Also, I explicitly recall getting into a lengthy debate with you over Rubio back in July 2021, where you defended him from my attacks.--Geopolitician (talk) 18:13, November 6, 2022 (EST)
I've noticed. All you do is attack GOP candidates of presidential caliber, to include Trump, Pompeo, Rubio, DeSantis, Haley, etc. It's obvious. You never discuss core issues. Only personalities, like a typical Democrat. And when you do pretend to discuss issues, it's loaded with contradictions, like a typical Democrat office holder or voter. RobSGive Peace a chance 18:24, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Since when do Democrats care about subversive words and deeds by neocons, which by the way all of those people (minus Trump) are.--Geopolitician (talk) 18:44, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Since Dems will use any lame excuse to attack Republicans. I at least have some basis for my attacks. RobSGive Peace a chance 18:56, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Lame excuse? You think supporting the geopolitical projects of Brzezinski and Kissinger is a lame excuse for me to attack neocon Republicans? How about supporting Wahhabism and blaming everything they do (including 9/11) on Iran? How about supporting color revolutions and false flag operations, and constantly lying about that? How about advocating the persecution of whistleblowers like Assange, Manning, and Snowden? How about supporting the continuation of the Patriot Act and NDAA? How about using the “Israel” card to corrupt our churches? And how about getting millions of people killed due to their misdeeds? You expect me to stay silent about that, just because they’re Republicans? Sure, I can focus on attacking Democrats, but that would be saying what’s already been said. I’d rather say what has yet to be said, thank you very much.--Geopolitician (talk) 19:52, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Let me see if I can follow this reasoning: Democrat warmongers and neocons have been exposed, and the public ignores it. So the one hope in defeating them, you wish to sink the Republican party. Is that fair criticism? RobSGive Peace a chance 20:26, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Nope. Many neocons still lurk in the shadows because much of the MAGA movement has only one eye open. That is, they don’t see neocons for what they are unless they’re openly against Trump. And on a related note, Trump seems reluctant to strike at the neocons first. He tends to wait until they publicly come out against him, if they ever do. Unless this changes, MAGA will remain at risk of being co-opted.--Geopolitician (talk) 20:37, November 6, 2022 (EST)
You said it, not me. The MAGA movement is blind and stupid. Twitter is not hiring right now, if you're looking for a job. RobSGive Peace a chance 20:44, November 6, 2022 (EST)
I said "one eye open," which is half blind and half with sight. They absolutely do have the right ideas, but their love for Trump sometimes gets in the way of them remaining true to what they stand for. Of course that's not Trump's fault. He can't control how they think. But he can control his desire to be accepted by the establishment, although that's technically a separate issue.--Geopolitician (talk) 21:12, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Okay, so MAGA Republicans are as stupid and emotional as Democrat cult followers. That makes sense coming from the Democrat point of view. RobSGive Peace a chance 21:18, November 6, 2022 (EST)
No, they aren't that far gone. At least they have one eye open. Democrat cult followers have both eyes closed, and perhaps have eyes missing from their sockets.--Geopolitician (talk) 21:33, November 6, 2022 (EST)
PS. If anyone has been using lame excuses, it’s you. You’ve been obsessed with trying to find proof that I’m some Democrat operative for years now. At virtually every opportunity, you scream “Democrat!” Much like how woke leftists like to scream things like “racist!” It’s really getting tiresome, you know.--Geopolitician (talk) 20:06, November 6, 2022 (EST)
There you go again. NATO warmongers (whom you often refer to as "neocons") follow the Brezinski Grand Chessboard playbook, which Kissinger opposes. As I said, when you do pretend to discuss issues, it's loaded with contradictions, like a typical Democrat office holder or voter, tossing out and demonizing personalities rather discussing core issues. RobSGive Peace a chance 20:19, November 6, 2022 (EST)
The only thing Brzezinski and Kissinger disagree on regarding the Eurasian Heartland is how to achieve domination of it. But Kissinger still believes in the premise that America must conquer the Eurasian Heartland in order to remain secure, so he is still part of the problem.--Geopolitician (talk) 20:28, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Kissinger is the main opposition spokesman against the neocon NATO warmongers implementing the Grand Chessboard. RobSGive Peace a chance 20:44, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Only because they're prioritizing dismantling and genociding Russia over dismantling and genociding China. He wants it the other way around, and thus is just the other side of the coin.--Geopolitician (talk) 20:57, November 6, 2022 (EST)
"genociding Russia"? What's that supposed to mean? Sounds like a neocon talking point if I ever heard one. RobSGive Peace a chance 21:03, November 6, 2022 (EST)
The neocons want to genocide the Russian population. You know that, and have pointed that out yourself several times.--Geopolitician (talk) 21:05, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Yah but I don't do it in ambiguous language. Are you saying neocons want to genocide the Chinese people, who are victims of the genocidal Chinese regime? When you do pretend to discuss issues, it's loaded with contradictions. RobSGive Peace a chance 21:08, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Yes, I am saying neocons want to genocide the Chinese people. Because that's what The Grand Chessboard calls for.--Geopolitician (talk) 21:21, November 6, 2022 (EST)

And you do realize I hold those people in such contempt because I see neocons as literal traitors to our country, not just as “establishment,” right?--Geopolitician (talk) 18:44, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Oh, we're back to neocons again. Why don't write something about the neocon/climate change alliance. It's happening in Germany (and destroying the country) and in the U.S., AOC is the leading proponent. RobSGive Peace a chance 18:56, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Sundance has touched on this subject, so you are quoting him out of context. I haven't seen a word about DeSantis joining up with AOC to support nuclear war and end fossil fuel consumption with Russia sanctions. RobSGive Peace a chance 19:01, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Except Sundance has pointed out that DeSantis supports the Ukraine war. I even shared an article establishing that not too long ago (last week, I think). The article doesn’t go as far as saying he’s part of the neocon/climate change alliance, but by my standards he de facto is.--Geopolitician (talk) 19:52, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Oh, so Trump is a neocon warmonger too, cause he's made statements that appear to be in support of the war, as recently as last night. RobSGive Peace a chance 20:19, November 6, 2022 (EST)
I still have hope that Trump’s position on this issue is malleable. But that hope is waning, I’ll admit.--Geopolitician (talk) 20:25, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Maybe Trump, the non-politician, learned something about politics - you have to lie to get into office.
Unlike Trump, Perot, Bloomberg, etc., DeSantis is not self-funding. So he has to take money from the traditional GOPe donor base to be the default candidate should Trump be Arkancided or die of natural causes. This issue has very little to do with ideology. And the beauty of the system is, he gets to keep all the money for a 2028 bid. I'll bet $100 whoever the nominee is, DeSantis will vote for Trump, and Trump for DeSantis.
You will recall, the evil neocon warmonger Ted Cruz was Trump's main opponent in the 2016 primaries. Trump went so far as insulting Cruz's wife's looks. The day after the convention, they were besties, and Cruz even stood up as an objector and election denier.
You're spinning your wheels with the BS and slander campaign you're on. RobSGive Peace a chance
Maybe it isn't about ideology for Sundance, but it certainly is about ideology for me. And since you brought up Cruz, he doesn't deserve the good standing he now has with Trump. Especially after several people from his camp joined the Trump administration only to sabotage it from within.--Geopolitician (talk) 21:01, November 6, 2022 (EST)
bla bla bla. All you do is trash Republicans. It gets tiring. RobSGive Peace a chance 21:05, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Not all Republicans, just the neocon wing. And if you oppose them like I do, then why should you have a problem with that?--Geopolitician (talk) 21:12, November 6, 2022 (EST)
I think I've proven a couple times over that you do not even know what a neocon is, other than an attack word. RobSGive Peace a chance 21:18, November 6, 2022 (EST)
But go ahead and use it, now that the neocons have taken over the climate change agenda. RobSGive Peace a chance 21:22, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Even Greta Thunberg is on board. Neocons are weening us off fossil fuels. RobSGive Peace a chance 21:24, November 6, 2022 (EST)
The central premise of neoconservatism is foreign interventionism in the name of maintaining the unipolar world order. Social issues come second.--Geopolitician (talk) 21:25, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Climate change was just a bunch of talk, until the neocons implemented a plan of action. RobSGive Peace a chance 21:28, November 6, 2022 (EST)
Only because they've become so Russophobic that they are now too stupid to understand that fossil fuels is what makes the Eurasian heartland strategically important in the first place (and apparently have also forgotten that the petrodollar exists).--Geopolitician (talk) 21:37, November 6, 2022 (EST)
It's all part of the Great Reset. Climate activists are warmongers. Progressives are warmongers. And the necons dominate them. The neocons are done with the GOP. RobSGive Peace a chance 22:03, November 6, 2022 (EST)
That last sentence would only be true if one accepted the premise that neocons who embraced Trump in 2016 and continue to support him in 2022 are no longer neocons. I wholeheartedly reject that premise.--Geopolitician (talk) 09:33, November 7, 2022 (EST)
The GOP is not the neocons prime focus anymore to infiltrate and promote their agenda. The Patriot movement, dominated by MAGA, is not the prime focus of neocons to promote American unipolar hegemony. The Green Agenda is the primary vehicle neocons are using to promote American global dominance. RobSGive Peace a chance 10:14, November 7, 2022 (EST)
I can't disagree with that one, but keep in mind that "primary vehicle" does not mean "only vehicle." There are others.--Geopolitician (talk) 10:35, November 7, 2022 (EST)
It's a tall order. You have to unbrainwash a generation of 17-year-old brainwashed climate change warmongers brainwashed by Greta Thunberg. I'm in my 60s, so it's your problem, my friend. RobSGive Peace a chance 16:05, November 7, 2022 (EST)
If you're going to follow Sundance, get with the program. His latest post is a link to Neil Oliver: 'The green agenda we’re being sold is absolutely not green'. Oliver says,
"Fast forward nearly 40 years after Live Aid and have a look at what the media and much of the rest of the mainstream are calling for now - the Green agenda, Agenda 2030, Net Zero and the rest of a hellish potpourri of policies guaranteed to condemn hundreds of millions to death by poverty, death by starvation, misery for want of the means ever to make their lives better. Half a lifetime after Live Aid, and earnest hopes of throwing arms around the world, the new clarion call is to snuff out the lights here in the West. To usher in the cold where there has been warmth. And to see to it that the achievement of the Industrial Revolution, and centuries of ingenuity that conspired to lift billions of people around the world out of poverty, are dismantled and unwound upon the altar of the new religion of saving the planet of tomorrow. Prioritizing that as yet non-existent world over the here and now. Millions upon millions of those living today, perhaps billions in the end, are to be sacrificed as though they don't exist. Any last vestige of camouflage, preventing us perceiving the true nature of the messiahs of the Green agenda, is falling away day by day. Celebrity truant Greta Thunberg's latest proclamation is that 'it's time to transform the West's oppressive and racist capitalist system'. She means overthrow it, thereby laying bare at last the motivation of her handlers." RobSGive Peace a chance 23:04, November 6, 2022 (EST)

Trump’s latest tweet shows how JEALOUS he is of Ron DeSantis.
It was absolutely ridiculous to build up expectations of a Red wave rather than promote grassroots involvement in election integrity. Now Trump is getting criticism from conservatives, which will go on and on til the 2024 primaries. Rather than a Red wave, we got a split GOP now.
And it was obvious: those who promoted a big Red wave had no interest in the most vital issue - securing against stolen elections. RobSGive Peace a chance 18:58, November 9, 2022 (EST)
Sundance has a major update on the MAGA v. GOPe (Trump v. DeSantis) internecine conflict. [1] Given Sundance's style of commentary, he posts a major piece like this and will build upon it in coming installments. RobSGive Peace a chance 00:56, November 11, 2022 (EST)

Anti-lockdown stance gave DeSantis a boost

This is from American Thinker and belongs on MPR: "The biggest lesson of the election: Voters rewarded Republicans in statewide races who battled COVID lockdowns and vaccine mandates."

Trump is out, DeSantis is in. If Biden wants it, the 2024 Democratic nomination is his. Otherwise, it goes to Kamala Harris. After all, they are both more coherent than Fetterman, Pennsylvania's incoherent stroke victim, artificial intelligence construct, and senator-elect. There was a massive red wave in Florida and South Dakota, the two states where Republican governors led the charge against lockdowns. In the lead up to the election, the buzz was all about, crime, inflation, immigration, war in Ukraine, and abortion. But in the voting booth, covid trumped all of those, as it had in Virginia last year.

Election night was a certainly a disappointment. This is the first time in a very long time that Republicans did significantly worse in the actual election than in pre-election polling. In 2016, 2018 and 2020, Republicans ran at least four point ahead of polling. One explanation I read is that that Biden's "Mega MAGA" and pro-democracy talk scared swing voters and made them reluctant to answer pollsters. "Hey Bess, one of those dangerous Trump-supporting Mega-MAGA people wants to know how we are going to vote." That would certainly be an amusing reason if it turned out to be true.

Powerline compares this election to 1978. The economy in 1978 was awful. But many Americans were still voting against Nixon, although he wasn't on the ballot. Republican gains were modest. In this analogy, Trump is the new Nixon. Not until Reagan was nominated in 1980 did Republicans get past Watergate. PeterKa (talk) 22:09, November 9, 2022 (EST)

Interesting analysis, but the real message is that Dems continue to get better each cycle at ballot harvesting and election fraud. The Pennsylvania election proves that Dems can elect Mickey Mouse in some states now with their machine. Next-door New York doesn't tolerate that high level of Dem-manipulated voting.
The GOP won, and a bigger win may not have been better. Mitch McConnell is a warmonger, while JD Vance won big by being anti-war. Also, who wants Biden to be able to run against a GOP Senate in 2024, as Clinton successfully did in 1996?
(added later with sig) The reality is that a GOP-controlled Senate now would be led by pro-war Mitch McConnell, who is so unpopular that it could cause massive losses in 2024 across-the-board. Trump has vowed to replace McConnell as GOP Senate leader in 2024.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 01:24, November 10, 2022 (EST)
And as the senseless war and killing ramps up on the ground, the US commitment to the war (which is driving the whole war) is firmed up. The consequences of this commitment is more debt, more borrowing, more inflation, and more economic dislocation for common people - which is exactly the globalists' agenda. How does it take 5 days to count Nevada, a state that is little bigger than Wyoming? RobSGive Peace a chance 01:10, November 10, 2022 (EST)
92% of all land in Nevada is federal land. That means, outside of a handful of military bases and reservation land, the rest of the population lives on 8% of the land. Washington DC owns the State of Nevada, and there has got to be a connection between the naked, rampant voter fraud we've seen in federal elections in recent years affecting the control of Congress and the White House. RobSGive Peace a chance 01:19, November 10, 2022 (EST)
Dems are stealing the Nevada election and hopefully this will educate the Republicans who are in denial about it.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 01:24, November 10, 2022 (EST)
Re: 1978. The 1978 Midterms were a big comeback for the GOP, largely based on Carternomics & the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, which people were only beginning to understand its ramifications. Also, the ERA was a big issue.
I comeback to MSM and MSM narratives, both in polling and news reporting. This shouldn't be that big a problem for us today with social media and internet. The Big Red Wave circles down the drain

So it's official. Cons, you're 0-3 on Coronavirus, the NATO war, and Red Wave (0-4 counting Paul Pelosi, but you didn't post that to MPR.)

Post Mortem:

  1. You need to seriously re-examine your sources of information;
  2. the time spent on pushing a Big Red Wave should have been spent on pushing election integrity and encouraging people to get involved at the local level as election watchers to prevent exactly what just happened, again;
  3. the Big Red Wave, posted on MPR since May had two consequences (1) it demoralized potential GOP voters both before and after the election; (2) it damaged CP credibility as a source.

MPR should be used for two reasons: (1) providing alternative, qualified links and sources to the readers; (2) NOT promoting established mainstream media narratives (as you did in the covid, NATO war, Red Wave & Paul Pelosi cases.

No news story tells the whole story in itself. All news stories are developing, or continuing stories. We need to abandon the habit of posting sensational garbage that shows up in your Inbox. When the judgement is made to post a story, what needs to go along with it is a commitment to follow up with both continuing coverage, AND building article content on the same subject. RobSGive Peace a chance 02:26, November 9, 2022 (EST)

Three things wrong on coronavirus? I have no idea what you are talking about as far as two other things. And there is no definitive proof on the source of the coronavirus to this day so your lab theory of the source of the pandemic is merely a theory and one that is not supported by the weight of the evidence. I have no idea what you are talking about as far as NATO.
As far as the midterms, while the GOP did not have a red wave due to the unpopularity of Biden and high inflation/crime, Biden will still likely face gridlock because the GOP will likely squeak out a majority in the House. At this point, there is going a post mortem on why the GOP underperformed in the midterms and who is going to be the next president is up in the air. I am just glad that I am not going to depend on U.S. politicians when it comes to my future. Conservative (talk) 10:15, November 9, 2022 (EST)
Don't be coy. You consistently post MSM narratives which are counterintuitive, and defeat counter-narratives. RobSGive Peace a chance 10:38, November 9, 2022 (EST)
Here's the point: Since May, you pushed the Red Wave. That time and space should have been used to push voter integrity, and encourage people to get involved at the grassroots level.
Instead, you demoralized people by repeating over and over again, 'Don't worry, it's in the bag.' RobSGive Peace a chance 10:45, November 9, 2022 (EST)
The big takeaway is that the country is fairly divided and the pollsters are unreliable. After the right/left leaning pollsters blew various recent elections, I am not going to pay much attention to them unless the margins are very big.
Rather than look at the polls in terms of political races, I think I will give more weight to the betting markets.
I cite:
"In this sense, markets react faster than the snappiest snap poll. The political gambling community itself would turn a pollster’s stomach. I have found it to be overwhelmingly made up of white, educated, males who are mathematically inclined and politically sophisticated (including a good number of politicians themselves). Yet there are quite a few statistical analyses that credit the markets collectively as more predicatively powerful than polls.
That said, betting market information expressed in probabilities – for example, Herschel Walker is given a 61% chance of winning and Raphael Warnock is given a 41% chance of winning – is much less intuitive to the public. This is because, unlike a poll, in betting markets a lead of 61% to 41% actually indicates a tight contest where either candidate could well win."[2]
But better yet, instead of following politics, I will focus more on important things like faith, family/friends, career, etc. The older I get the more apolitical I get. For example, both the Democrats and Republicans often spend like drunken sailors, but they spend on different things. Both parties are leading America into another Great Depression through their big spending ways. Conservative (talk) 11:06, November 9, 2022 (EST)
This IS the Post Mortem right here. And it needs to begin with you admitting that you contributed to the defeat.
And how did you contribute? By refusing to listen to advice, and stepping on my efforts to post counter-MSM narratives.
You've said that a dozen times, "I will stop following politics', and 3 days later you're back posting MSM garbage. RobSGive Peace a chance 11:11, November 9, 2022 (EST)
Additionally, your Red wave flag waving has done damage to Donald Trump, and elevated his probable opponent. There comes a time to defer to others with more experience in politics when you admit you don't have it, or are not interested.
My first campaign that I was actively involved with was in 1968 for Richard Nixon, 54 years ago, under wartime, inflationary, and crime ridden conditions, which is probably longer than you've been alive. RobSGive Peace a chance 17:02, November 9, 2022 (EST)
Pardon me, but I'm very upset about this. Zerohedge: Midterms Post-Mortem: Comprehending GOP's Underwhelming Performance.
Did the narrative of the Red Wave seem like hubris?
At times rosy expectations can be the mother of all disappointments. The relentless talk of a red wave, which began in conservative media and spread like wildfire, could have had multiple consequences.
Perhaps GOP voters presumed a victory was inevitable and chose to stay home. Perhaps Democrat voters thinking that their party needs them in times of peril chose to vote.
Perhaps some voters thought of this talk of the red wave as hubris.
Voters often do not like politicians taking them for granted and second-guessing them.
Perhaps they decided to give the GOP a reality check?
Don't say you were not warned. Today is only the beginning, picking up the pieces. We need more cooperation and coordination on this page, and less bravado and sneering at other qualified editor's input. No single editor is the guardian of the conservative perspective. Connecting the dots

The NATO war in Ukraine is fueling inflation with more borrowing and more debt; inflation fuels the crime crisis. The failure of the GOP to garner a consensus against the NATO war means the war, inflation, and crime will continue.

And as I predicted a month or two ago, the GOP will be blamed for the Recession, even if the GOP caves now to demands for Keynesian stimulus. RobSGive Peace a chance 11:20, November 9, 2022 (EST)

Steve Turley's commentary on the 2022 midterm elections

Steve Turley, who expected a red wave in the 2022 midterm elections, produced some post-2022 midterm elections videos which I think are pretty good.

From a professional perspective, look at the way a successful campaign is conducted. In 2008, Obama's win was a blow out. However prior to election day you did not see any hubris about a "Blue wave". Rather, we saw endless speculation over Will white males over 55 vote for a black man, etc. This is the proper way to conduct a campaign. "Wave" talk is for AFTER, I repeat AFTER, I repeat again AFTER an election. In fact, prior to election, it ought to be viewed suspiciously either as internal subversion, or naive and amateurish by people without understanding or regard of the consequences for failure. RobSGive Peace a chance 14:23, November 11, 2022 (EST)

The GOP never explained to people how the Biden administration caused high inflation in the USA and how some other countries were faring better such as Switzerland. In addition, until recently, the GOP never made much of an effort to get schools/colleges to teach basic economics from a conservative point of view. Roe v Wade turnout impact

As I said before and nobody believe me, overturning Roe v Wade would have huge impact on the midterms, and that what happened young girl turnout for Democrats was +37 --Alex Kosh (talk) 20:05, November 12, 2022 (EST)

That's insufficient data to make a judgement about. Compared to what? Voter turnout among inflation and crime victims? increased turnout among disgruntled Hispanics and other minorities who traditionally voted Democrat? So while you can say turnout increased among a certain segment, that differs from overall impact. Furthermore, it's a one-time impact on federal elections - cause these ill-informed voters don't understand that the repeal of Roe v. Wade kicked the issue back to the states. Roe v. Wade has never been an issue in the U.S. Congress, either before repeal or after - despite a half century of propaganda and billions spent on political advertising. All the repeal did was make it an issue that voters NOW can actually have an impact in state elections. They should be thankful, if anything, and not angry. God works in mysterious ways. Just as Samson was not particularly religious, Trump is not particularly religious. Facebook, run by Mr. Zucker who used a ton of Zuckerbucks to influence the 2020 election, is seeing his social media empire shrivel. As you may recall, Samson (who was imprisoned) eventually took down the Phlistine's Temple.
Even if Trump is not elected in 2024, or even if he is imprisoned which might make him stronger by making him a political martyr, Trumpism will live on. The working class is moving to the GOP and that includes Latinos and Black males.

NBC News is the only legacy media company willing to admit that Ukraine has a significant Nazi problem. I agree with the NBC News article Ukraine's Nazi problem is real, even if Putin's 'denazification' claim isn't.
I believe that Putin went into Ukraine for various reasons (Ukraine was looking to join NATO which Putin/Kremlin didn't like, gas reserves found in Eastern Ukraine, Russian nationalists in Eastern Ukraine treated badly by Ukraine, Orange Revolution may have been largely/significantly instigated by CIA and Western NGOs, etc.). I don't think de-Nazisifiction is the big reason why Putin went into Ukraine. Ukraine has had a Nazi problem for some time. In addition, the Russians don't have a great reputation on how they treat Jews with their various pograms, etc. And I have met many Jews who fled Russia due to discrimination. Conservative (talk) 04:50, November 16, 2022 (EST)
This generation of Russians hasn't committed any pogroms, any more than you should have to pay reparations to African Americans for slavery. The legacy of both Czarism and Soviet Communism is, Russia has the most "tolerance for diversity" on the planet.
Putin went into Ukraine on February 24 because the NATO trained army had amassed 120,000 troops - half the Ukraine army at that time - along essentially what is the front line of contact right now. And that army, with NATO-backing, tanks and artillery, was set to begin rolling over civilians on March 8, who were defending themselves with a 40,000 man militia.
So while American media was echoing Biden DNI Avril Haines day-after-day since November 2021, screaming "Putin has amassed 120,000 troops on Ukraine's border!", it ignored Russian media and Putin saying "Ukraine has amassed 120,000 troops along the Donbas!" (all of this is a matter of cited record in Conservapedia), as well as the fact who those troops were, i.e. Nazis, and their record of atrocities for the past 8 years.
America engineered this war, and America wanted this war.
As to the Nazis, yes, they've been there a long time. But it was the US that empowered them in 2014. Like Jimmy Dore said, if you didn't like the Putin-backed regime, you vote them out. You don't hire a bunch of Nazis to kill people. RobSGive Peace a chance 05:24, November 16, 2022 (EST)

RobSGive Peace a chance 05:33, November 16, 2022 (EST)

Societies change slowly. A society can't "try" democracy, it has to fully commit to it and thoroughly educate its population. Conquered Germany and Japan were literally forced to practice democracy after WWII which is an irony of history. The USA was enough of a benevolent occupier of Germany and Japan that democracy took root. So let's ask: Why are Ukrainian schoolchildren taught to give the Nazi salute (by extension - "taught to hate")?
Answer: Cause since 1945, the Soviet Union came down hard on people who gave the Nazi salute, displayed Nazi insignia, or shared Nazi ideas. Likewise in Germany and much of all Central and Western Europe laws were passed against open displayal of Nazi symbols, Holocaust denial, etc. In the United States, we adopted "hate speech" laws since the 1970s. In Ukraine, the anti-extremist laws and enforcement remained in place after 1991. However, unlike Germany, the Nazi party was not outlawed, and various Nazi groups were elected to Parliament in the name of "democracy", albeit a minority.
In the years before the Maidan coup, the United States began emboldening these groups, and the "Russian-backed" government's secret police, the Bercut, became overwhelmed and could no longer deal with number of extremists (in the old days, the Bercut would just kidnap them, beat them up, and blacklist them from employment, kinda like the KGB did for many years.} The U.S. money pumped into Ukraine offered these blacklisted extremists income and employment, if they'd just do Western globalists dirty work and help overthrow the "Russia-backed regime".
So that's what you have today, a bunch of Russia haters who proudly wear the swastika, kinda like waving a red flag before a bull, whereas the whole Russian civilization of 130 ethnic groups have for centuries lived by the words, "we must love each other, or we must die."
