Answers in Genesis was a non-profit young earth creationist organization that was dedicated to "defending the Bible from the very first verse". Its president was Ken Ham who once worked for ICR before founding Answers in Genesis in the Virgin Islands.
In 2006, the AiG organizations that was in the Virgin Islands and Britain formed a separate ministry, Creation Ministries International.
Answers in Genesis in the U.S. has a state-of-the-art Creation Museum which opened on May 26, 2007, admitting more than 5,000 visitors on its first day.
