Laurence Allen "Larry" Elder is an African American conservative/libertarian commentator - pundit. He is a radio and talk show host and a syndicated columnist. Larry also currently produces a series of YouTube videos for The Epoch Times newspaper. In 2021, Elder declared his candidacy in the recall election Gavin Newsome for governor of California. California's Democrat controlled, systemically racist state government attempted to keep him off the ballot.[1]

He asserts that racism in the U.S. no longer represents a serious threat to blacks' upward mobility and opposes the minimum wage on the grounds that it undermines job creation for blacks, teenagers and entry-level workers.
