Warsaw Uprising

The Warsaw Uprising was an unsuccessful revolt against the occupying Nazi German government in Warsaw between August and October 1944 by the Polish Home Army (AK) according to a plan by the Polish-Government-in-Exile in London.[1] 200,000 Polish civilians were killed by the Germans.
