Candidate Office Result Analysis
Max Miller, who served in the Trump White House Ohio 16th Congressional District 36-year-old Never-Trumper incumbent Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH) pulled out of the race for his own seat, despite former popularity. More than any election, Gonzalez's stunning abandonment of his seat after Trump endorsed a primary opponent to him sends shock waves nationwide, and solidifies Trump's leadership of the GOP.
Mike Carey Ohio 15th Congressional District won its primary in 2021 by a wide margin[2] opponents included state legislators endorsed by outgoing congressman and others
Susan Wright Texas 6th Congressional district won the primary, but lost the runoff to another Republican who benefited from cross-over Dem votes Wright would have won if the Dem candidate had not surprisingly failed to qualify for the runoff, such that a moderate Republican then won Dem votes. Also, Club for Growth mishandled the race, spending lavishly on negative ads that backfired, instead of funding a grassroots effort.
Herschel Walker U.S. Senate seat of Georgia Walker is the front-runner in 2021, for the primary election to be held in 2022.
Harriet Hageman Wyoming Congressional seat the incumbent Rep. Liz Cheney is an unrepentant Never-Trumper who voted for the second impeachment of him.
