Tommy Seebach

Tommy Seebach Mortensen (September 14, 1949 - March 31, 2003) was an extremely popular Danish singer, composer, pianist, and producer.

Seebach began his career early, but achieved mainstream popularity when he joined the hit Danish pop band Sir Henry And His Butlers. In the late 1970s, he began his solo career. He represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest three times: in 1979, 1981, and 1993, finishing as high as 6th in 79.

Sadly, Seebach struggled with alcoholism and died from a heart attack at age 53.
