This is a good example of how out of touch and ill-informed User:Conservative is about the NATO war in Ukraine. Artillery was discussed much in the first half of 2022, but after that it was replaced by modern drone warfare. User:Conservative, relying on Western censored MSM & propaganda networks was 3 years out of date by May 2025 when he copy pasted this stale stuff.

Of course, because of his ignorance and brainwashing, User:Conservative makes it impossible to have an intelligent or civil discussion to help bring him up to speed on a subject he obviously has no interest or knowledge of.

And the explanation is simple: artillery was effective against massed formations. Drones by mid-2022 forced advances in the grey zone into 1, 2, and 3 man units where an artillery shell would be a waste. Now that the defensive fortifications built by the Kyiv regime between 2014-2022 have been broken down, artillery is needed even less.

User:Conservative totally missed the evolution of modern warfare to drone warfare. And sadly, to the detriment of our readers.

Let's go one step further on being out-of-touch and ignorant (leaving aside a discussion of Ukraine's manpower shortage to operate drones or artillery pieces): If anyone is stupid enough to believe Russia will allow Germany to threaten Russia again with weapons after Germany murdered 27 million members of everyone living in modern Russia's family, and 45 years of Cold War when Russia finally forgave and consented to German Reunification, they have serious mental health birth defects or are on drugs.

And where are these weapons, which makes Germany an active belligerent in war, to be manufactured? In Ukraine? where the factory will get bombed and everyone working in it?
