Talk:Abbreviationism

Can this article be deleted please? "Abbreviationism" isn't a word. Normally I wouldn't mind, but it's such an ugly word I'd hate to think that some people might take this seriously and start using it. --JamesK 10:18, 25 March 2007 (EDT)

(Edit) I suppose it could be moved to the correct term, "initialism" instead.

• It's now a redirect to "initialism," which fixes the problem, but "abbreviationism" should be deleted anyway as it's not a real word and not a plausible misspelling of "initialism." Dpbsmith 10:59, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
