The Plurinational State is a form of government in which the identity of the state is not centered on one nation, but in many. This idea was first applied by Evo Morales in Bolivia which stopped being called a Republic and the concept obeys the ideas of Indigenism.

This concept dissolutes the union of the nation in which is implemented, going against an historical identity most of the time.

Bolivia uses not only one flag for the country, but two, using the flag of the Aymaras as the representation of indigenous people (with the same importance as the National Flag).
