The Missouri abortion ballot initiative -- called an "IP" for an "initiative petition" or "initiative proposal" in that state -- seeks a sweeping change to Missouri law that would authorize abortion-on-demand and even after birth in some instances.[1]

This was expected to go on the Missouri ballot in November 2024. With many millions spent by pro-aborts to enact this initiative, it passed by only a narrow margin.

Post initiative

Licensure remains a requirement for abortion clinics in Missouri, as is common for most medical procedures, and the State has not granted licenses to new clinics as of January 2025.[2]
