Robert Sterling and his second wife, Anne Jeffreys, co-starred in ABC's Love That Jill.

Love That Jill is a forgotten 13-episode American situation comedy starring husband-and-wife duo Robert Sterling (1917-2006) and Anne Jeffreys (1923-2017) which aired on the ABC television network from January 20 to April 14, 1958. In the story line, Jeffreys plays Jill Johnson, the owner of a modeling agency who comes into business conflict but personal romance with Sterling's character, Jack Gibson. Secondary cast roles were filled by Jimmy Lydon (born 1923) as Jill's secretary, Richard, and Barbara Nichols (1928-1976) as Ginger.[1]

Series guest stars included Chuck Connors (1921-1992), just before his The Rifleman western series premiered on ABC, Robert Anderson (1920-1996), who starred in the 1958 film The Left-Handed Gun, character actor Gerald Mohr (1914-1968), and Eric Feldary (1912-1968).[2]

Love That Jill replaced The Ray Anthony Show at 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday evenings midway in the 1957-58 season. It ran opposite The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show, which at the time was airing its last episodes on CBS. Five months after Love That Jill vacated the airwaves, CBS offered, also on Monday evenings, The Ann Sothern Show, starring Sterling's first wife, Ann Sothern.

From 1953 to 1955, Sterling and Jeffreys had starred with Leo Gratten Carroll (1886-1972) in the fantasy CBS sitcom, Topper, based on a 1937 film.
