Dame Judith Olivia Dench (born 9 December 1934) is an English actress. She is best known for her appearance as M James Bond films during the Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig eras of the franchise, appearing prominently in seven Bond films from GoldenEye (1995) to Skyfall (2012).
