Iron Man 2 is a 2010 Superhero film, based on the Iron Man comics. It is a sequel to the 2008 film Iron Man, and is the third film to be set in the "Marvel Cinematic Universe". It was produced independently by Marvel Studios. In the "Avengers" chronology, it is set after the events of Iron Man, during the events of The Incredible Hulk and Thor, and prior to the events of The Avengers.
