Inverness

Inverness is a city of northern Scotland. The county town of Inverness-shire, it is considered to be the capital of the Highlands. It is located at the north-eastern end of the Great Glen and at the mouth of the River Ness which flows into the Moray Firth (the name 'Inverness' means 'mouth of the Ness').
