Hydrogen peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound with the formula H202. Although makeup may seem superficially similar to that of water, its properties are very different - it is a harmful irritant, bleaching agent and also has a powerful oxidizing effect and noxious smell. It is a weak acid. It is basically water with an extra atom of oxygen attached to it. It is used as a disinfectant/antiseptic and oxidizer.[1]
